I have those same USB outlets in my car and they work fantastic. We used them on Street-N-Yeet for charging the phones and laptop and was shocked at how fast it charges. The turbo kit coating looks fantastic!

I been running a supercharger for years, after the local speed shop here in Portland oregon failed several times i send to jet hot now, yes it's expensive, but it works, i use the extreme 2000.
You know a racer knows his shit when you see those Par valve covers on the engine now I understand how you are making all that power! And it doesn't hurt to have a 118 Jose on it too!
Have you seen the inconel heat shield wrapping? Probably not necessary for here with the limited high power operation, but it it’s the nuclear option. Front duct looks like it should work awesome. Might be able to vinyl cut a graphic to mirror it on the other side to improve the visual appeal. With the front sealed the last thing you can do is vent the back. Keep the vent near the leading edge of the hood for the lowest pressure and easiest escape path for the air.
I'm sure you know, but that earls ball valve is what caused Doug Cook to wreck his Nova. When he opened his valve to make a pass, it didn't open all the way and went lean, causing rods/pistons to let go and oil under his tire.

That corvette regulator sucks, had one (tried 3) on my airboat and it could not hold steady pressure on a stock 5.3 would drop to 50 psi and spike to 65-70 regularly
Same thing happened too me when I first started with this unit but it was from the walbro 450 at 16 volt I swapped it out to a 255 and it's been rock solid

@@theholleyefiguy the block off plates (for lack of a better word) to direct the airflow to the radiator. You don't need the cooling for a 1/4 mile pass. Just something to think about, it's up to you. Steve Morris blocks his off but then again he is going over 200mph. He may also have been worried about blowing his hood off

@@demon1891 he has other videos on how to set up custom gauges on a Holley pro dash. Battery volts is a pre-set drop down. No way for the Holley to monitor output amperage.
I see you have a Steve Morris intake. You said you had motor problems and switched to PAR. Not looking for drama but have been looking at BB Chevy engines from S/M
The speed is the part I dislike. 220 plus is super sketchy with a car that the roof is made of cloth and folds back. Plus I honestly feel like the race is over by the 1/8th (most of the time it's over by the 330
@@theholleyefiguy I do believe that you will be happy with the swap. I can certainly understand the cost part. Specialized ford parts have always been more expensive than GM parts. I once heard the great Bob Glidden state that he had to pay 9 times as much for his pro stock parts than the GM guys did.
