I agree with basically everything except for the take on guacodile. The thing that makes it good is fast recharge allowing it to be spammable as an insta. It's hard to pick but I'd say tangle kelp is the worst big wave beach plant.
I totally agree with you. Guaco is NOT a peashooter that can rush the lane but a mini lawnmower that can be used many times. The damage it does while rushing the lane is very good for both its recharge and price

Citron is my favorite. Sure, He is slow charging but it is balanced on how amazing the damage dealt! I was also a fan of his plant food effect. Tbh, I still use citron even up to this date. I just love him. I don't mind the longer times but better damage
I would have said E.M. Peach for Far Future. It's another very specific use plant and it's pretty stupid to spend another seed slot on stunning mechs when you could blow them up with cherry bomb.
One problem is most of mecha in Far Future can survive an insta with the exception of shield mecha. So E.M. Peach while being niche is very useful thanks to it having large radius and long duration stun Citron at the other hand, is terrible in every world, since it isn't even good in Far Future let alone any other world. The zombie density in PvZ 2 is simply will never work in favor of Citron ever
Citron would've been peak if it pierced zombies until it reaches its max damage (for example it would go through several basics but only hit one buckethead)

Tangle is good but is really bad outside it’s world and guac is just peashooter combined with a lawnmower and Lilly is really great at it’s job so that makes tangle the worst because quac is more versatile

Guacodile is one of the best plant in big wave beach. I'm a HUGE HUGE FAN OF TANGLE KELP!!! TANGLE KELP is like my favorite since PVZ 1,2 and 3!! But if I were to pick between the two, I pick tangle kelp as the worst in big wave beach because c'mon! Guacodile isn't the worst either... Both of them are amazing
spikeweed can also cover a tile of flowers on “don’t trample the flowers” levels! also! magnet shroom pulls off punk zombies’ heads off which is useful as modern day has a lot of them, and mixtape tour too.
Last few years ago before the game deleted the Spring bean and blover combo, I would say spikeweed was the worst plant of pirate seas. Spring bean was a sigma 🗿

I agree with cabbage pult because it is only good in two worlds and in those two you get introduced to things that counters graves way better (there two worlds are dark ages ancient Egypt)
Well it depends on two things: synergy and plant food. Arguable which one has better plant food, but peashooter definitely has more synergies with things like torchwood. Neither are very good, but you get the point.

Cabbage-pult’s damage at level 20 is 120, Peashooter’s is 110. However, Peashooter has much better attack speed, making it so much better than cabbage(at higher levels, especially). Peashooter isn’t a great plant, but cabbage isn’t either. (Why have I just been clowning on cabbage)
I think that Cabbage Pult is a good plant, because when a Cabbage Pult is at level 4 it could already kill a normal zombie in *3* *hits* , but for the Peashooter is still almost the same.The cabbage pult can also avoid obstacles, gravestones *etc.*
@@josiahserrano6651 Magnifying Grass is good, mostly because of Pvz2’s 50 sun meta. It’s pretty easy to get a good sun production in this game, and that just makes Magnifying Grass better. Spore-shroom does well aginst larger hordes of weak zombies, while struggles against tanky zombies. The spawned Spore-shrooms aren’t always in the best spot either, so makes the plant a bit worse. Cool gimmick, but not that good of a plant.
Theres no way u put puff shroom and magnifying grass there, literally magnifying grass is op and puff shroom can block zombies and oh the plant food is amazing meanwhile magnet shroom only counters metal and punk zombies. Thats it. Like majority of zombies dont give a crap about magnet shroom. And em peach is worse than magnifying grass
In my opinion: Far future-EMPeach If anything citron is the best,but empeach is used for robot zombies that literally only appear in 1 world and can easily be replaced by LITERALLY ANY ATTACKER WITH PLANT FOOD Dark ages-sun bean Magnet shroom is literally one of if not the most useful plants in the game and sun beam is literally a sunflower with extra steps and WORSE Neon mixtape tour-garlic Special zombies on his home world don't even eat plants when their jams are playing + very low health for a plants that's literally made to get eaten
Cabbage pult is better than peashooter because it can kill zombies behind graves which makes grave busters useless and it does the same damage but peashooter has a better plant food but who cares about that anyway. and also cabbage pult can damage flying zombies and shield zombies and for the guy that thinks peashooter is better because of torchwood who the heck uses peashooter with torchwood? So I think cabbage pult is better for early game than peashooter (this is just my opinion so feel to disagree if you want)

It has to be leveled up a lot, and at that point you're probably done with big wave beach. But it is a useful ability, especially in mods where you don't need to level it up.

How I would fix these plants 1- Cabbage Pult: Make it hit zombies before being on the lawn, or decrease the sun cost (this doesn't make sense, I don't know what I was thinking) 2- Grave Buster: Make it cost 25 sun but have a 10 or 5 second recharge. 3- Spring Bean: Make it have a 5 second delay and bounce back 2 tiles, has to compete with chard guard. 4- Split Pea: Make it cost 100 sun, Simple! 5- Citron: Make it shoot more frequently. 6- Sun bean: Sun beans worse than magnet shroom, okay? Make it cost 0 sun. Fine, I'll do magnet shroom 7- Magnet shroom: Make it cost 50 sun and decrease the recharge time. 8- Guacodile: I personally think and tangle kelp are worse but okay: Make it cost 100 sun and make it do more damage. 9- Tangle Kelp: Make it cost 0 sun. 10- Hot potato: Make it's recharge better, still would be bad though, so maybe make it an instant that can kill frostbite caves zombies as well? 11- Gold Leaf: Make it cost more sun but DECREASE THE RECHARGE!!! I think Spore Shroom is worse than intensive carrot. If you lose a plant that costs like 300 sun. Instead of stalling and waiting to get the sun needed to replace it, just use intensive carrot and get it back. So if you like using expensive setups, you’ll like intensive carrot
The thing with intensive is that people always mention how you can replace expensive plants. But why would you lose them in the first place? If i got a winter melon or banana launcher or coconut cannon or any expensive plant, I'd put it at the back so I don't lose it. Additionally intensive has piss poor recharge so it's just not worth bringing. At least spore shroom does damage and can be used, intensive has no purpose other than being a cool concept.

celery stalkers good for early/mid game, Along with potato Mine. Cabbage pult is undoubtedly the worst tutorial Plant by far, Peashooter is so much better, only reason to pick it over Peashooter is it's plant food for specific stages. Garlic is a better 2nd pick or even Worst plant of NMT imo, Garlic has way too much niche strategies, along with that, every world has atleast 1-2 zombies that nullify (Wizard, Octo, Snowball thrower, Shovel zombie), Just ignore (dodo, Breakdance zombie's ability, Piano zombies ability) or instakill garlic (any gargantaur, Shovel zombie In the far right lanes which is where garlic is usually placed, Torch zombie, fisherman zombie, and Many, many more.)

Second, as you said, it needs high health zombies, and to be serious, there are not a lot of high health zombies that eat plants (the only ones are brick heads of the various eras, the bullies and some other rare zombies). And third, magnetshroom is GOATED: it can delete any defense from knight zombies and bucketheads, intakill punks, and it's a perfect plant from defense!
Also, I guess we're not going to talk about the small mushroom (I don't remember the name for now). I mean, yeah, free defense, but it's basically an half peashooter.
Not really. Cabbage-pult is designed to counter graves. Now, Bloomerang essentially just makes Cabbage-pult fall off completely, as it just handles graves much better. Targeting zombies instead of ice blocks doesn’t really help, as Cabbage-pult has poor damage anyways, and it’s better just to bring a fire plant like Snapdragon or Fire Pea. Once you get to Dark Ages, you have much better ways to counter graves. One of the biggest problems with Cabbage-pult is how the damage scales with his levels. This is a problem with other pult plants, but plants like Winter-melon are good at level 1. Cabbage isn’t. If you compare a level 10 peashooter with a level 10 Cabbage-pult, Cabbage will deal nearly half the damage. Besides, if you have a problem with graves, just use plants like Boingsetta or Pepper-mint, which will instantly clear most graves.
tbh I have to disagree with spring bean. Your reasons are valid if you're talking about it on its own but pair it with blover and a plant food and you could literally wipe waves of zombies. Helped me a lot in endless. edit: I just found out they removed the combo. Rip, I haven't played the game since like 2019 or when modern world was finished but damn I loved that combo
Have you tried using Sun Bean in Arena and Penny's Pursuit? It's actually better than Gold Bloom because of the faster recharge and the zombies are tankier. Oh sure, it has competition from Solar Sage but both are good.
I disagree on AG, to me the worst plant there is Twin Sunflower, like... you need to wait two suns fall down to plant ONE, it's just not a good take bring TSunflower, while GB helps a lot... during Dark Age, but stills helps a lot

There are a few arguments that are flawed here where you provide alternate examples of plants to use, some of which are premium plants which not everyone would have access to. I can agree with some of these but Intensive Carrot Grimrose and Perfume Shroom are certainly not the worst of their worlds. Celery Stalker is easily the worst neon mixtape tour plant by a long shot. Goop Shroom is a good utility plant but by the time you get to modern day you already have plenty of good ones like Primal Potato and Stallia or even Iceberg Lettuce. Primal Walnut is useful with it being a quick planting wall, but people forget that we have Infin-nut plant food which does loads more to help.
Cabbage Pult is worse than peashooter because it actually shoots a tiny bit slower, and its projectiles are a lot more likely to miss and hit nothing than peas that keep going down the lane

Actually, I agree with you on most of the plants! However, I have other reasons of why I think they are the worst. Cabbage pult: The projectiles travel way slower than peashooter, and it just gets power-creeped by its brothers like kernel pult, melon pult, winter melon, and even PEPPER PULT!?! Also there’s no point in using it after getting bloomerang( which will also get power-creeped in other worlds ) Grave buster: Only useful for Ancient Egypt and Dark Ages. The modern day graves are super easy to destroy and it’s better to use it to stall zombies instead of actually destroying graves, ( for example on ancient Egypt level 28, I just use grave buster and iceberg lettuce to stall the pyramid-head zombies ) Spring bean: Only good for Pirate seas, and it gets literally power creeped by a load of plants ( such as chard guard, primal peashooter and hurrikale ) Also wtf does it just knock zombies back by a tile, and why does it need to sleep for so long, just to bounce a zombie back for 1 tile only!?! Split pea: Nah, Starfruit and celery stalker are just better. ( Also just use chard guard or hurrikale to knock a zombie away from the back lol ) Hot potato: Absolute steaming pile of garbage. Just use fire plants ( Also don’t use pepper-pult, use snapdragon instead ) Gold leaf: I forgot this plant exists💀 I don’t think Citron is the worst because the plant food ability can instant K.O any zombie ( not machine ) I think E.M. peach is the worst plant because even though the disabling is long, it’s just much better to use a defensive plant like wall-nut to stall the machines ( or just use iceberg lettuce or stallia) Also if you thought E.M. peach is better for stalling bot swarms, just use blower to blow away all the bots before they land. I think the worst plant is tangle kelp,because it always targets the wrong zombies, and is only effective against octo or fisherman zombies if you plant it directly on them. (It’s useful for the boss fight tho, if the boss is using the fan attack, place it near the boss and the attack will be stopped and you can get a bit of time to whittle down the boss’s hp ) Grimrose: It’s only recommended to use them against dangerous zombies such as all-stars or excavators, or high-health zombies such as brickhead or buckethead zombies. Also its targeting is somewhat glitched, and it always drags down the wrong zombies. Also it just sucks for flying zombies.
4:41 citron is ONE of THE best plants, it deals heavy damage and yes he does have a slow fire rate but having heavy damage being able to insta kill a normal zombie, 2 hits on a cone zombie, and around 3-4 hits on bucket heads and other tankier basic zombies. Plus his plant food effect DISINTEGRATES a Gargantuar prime. You just have to have other plants to stall for citron before you fully make your citron defense

Agree with everything except Guacodie because it has fast recharge and the fact that it’s basically a mower when the zombie comes too close. Grim Rose can be useful in SOME situations but there are better instas like Cherry Bomb, Grapeshot, etc.

first, hot potato can infact melt octopi at higher levels, which is a HUGE benefit. secondly, the spelling on this feels majorly odd for some of them third, grave buster can explode at higher levels. fourthly, tangle kelp can't be spammed nearly as well as guac, and its better to treat guac as a mini spammable lawnmower. fifthly, if you are going to use fisherman zombie as an argument on why kelp shouldnt be the worst, all you need to counter every fisherman zombie is infi-nut plant food. sixthly, id argue endurian is genuinely worse due to how utterly atrocious it is as a damaging wall, along with the fact that since now you can place gold leaf on any level, you can get way more value for it, especially in endless stages if you arent able to get gold blooms.

Personally I'd say Sun Bean is the worst plant in Dark Ages. Magnet Shroom isn't great, but at least it helps in a way that other plants don't. At least not until Modern Day where you get poison shroom, which goes through armor. Plus the plant food effect makes it an okay pick up until then. Sun Bean sucks because every other sun producer does its job better. They don't rely on anything to give you sun, they just give it to you. Sun Bean is the kind of plant that you bring instead of a normal sun producer just to make things harder on yourself. The only reason to use Sun Bean is in player-created challenges that people do to spice up the game. Not to mention, it's double the cost of Sun Shroom, which you get in the exact same world and is an infinitely better sun producer. The only thing remotely useful about Sun Bean is its plant food effect, and even *THAT* is only useful if there's a tanky zombie on the lawn. This plant is just terrible.

I hate some "extra hard competition" event - western competition. The last stage, when you have to beat the boss. There is no plants to attack or even to stop the boss from destroying your plants - they give you spikeweed, hypno shroom, electric currant, wall nut and iceberg lettuce. The only two ways to hit the boss - when zombie eat hypno shroom (but they walk veeeeeeery slow and boss walks and jumps very often and fast, so, it 85-90% possibility the boss will have no damage) or make a special attack with spikeweed. But, the most annoying moment, which made me lose this level for 10000 times - are zombie chickens. And the only reason you fail with this level again and again, and again, and again - because there is no attacking plant. Boss attacks you too often, destroying the whole two lines of your plants - and you can do nothing with that, even with special attack - it doesn't stop him. Than, it releases the zombie with chickens - and you are done, because conveyor is too slow and you can wait several seconds for plants. And it will take a decades till it give you a plant just to stop or kill running chickens - you must have at least two plants on each of empty line, but conveyor doesn't give you a chance. I play this game for many years, my plants are pretty strong, but I always lose this "extra hard wildwest" last level for a multiple of times.
Lol saying that citron is far future's worst plant was such a crime, especially when the peach is on the same world, and Im not even saying that the peach is bad, its actually really helpful, but only in far future, you cant use it in any other world
Tbh in the tutorial where Cabbage is introduced on has graves, Cabbage can lob over graves but peashooter can't. Also Cabbage lobs everyone for his plant food skill which is great for easily wiping out a wave.
For lost city its kind of a tough pick between Gold Leaf and Endurian. People have said that Endurian fails as a wall plant and I agree as its stats speak for how bad it is. It has less health than a normal wall nut while costing twice as much and the chip damage not being very much. Gold Leaf is bad because the gold tiles take so long to produce another sun, it takes too long to pay itself back. At least its doesn't take space.
Imo Tutorial: wallnut (recharge time too long for my liking, you are better off just spam peashooter or cabbage pult, heck even planting a potato mine is so much better) Ancient Egypt: grave buster Pirate sea: spring beam Wild wild west: split pea (also the most useless peashooter plant imo) Frostbite cave: hot potato Lost city: most of the plants there are useless to me, i just use bonk choy and laser beam for most levels there, but if i have to pick 1 for the most useless its gold leaf) Far future: EM peach (only useable in far future, its completely useless outside far future) Jurassic: perferm shroom (em peach issue + super long recharge time and its expensive as well) Neon mixtape: to be honest celery stalker is probably the only decent plant in that world, but then if i have to pick 1 for the most useless its probably intensive carrot, just replant the defeated plant good enough) Modern day: grimrose Big wave beach: tangle kelp Dark ages: magnet shroom

Tbh, I disagree in Guacodile, because the Insta use thing, so the crown would go to the tangle kelp. And golden leaf, that's literally the beta Sun Vine, and it's very hard to be worse than the A.K.E.E, main that compete with a sun producer is simply unfair. The reason I disagree with Cabbage Pult being worst from the Tutorial world is because.. Though Cabbage Pult and Peashooter has pretty much the same damage and speed, Cabbage Pult still has that juicy feature where he hits zombies from behind obstacles like Gravestones and Octopuses, unlike the Peashooter who needs to break them first. This makes the Cabbage Pult, in my opinion, better than Peashooter. But I still agree with everything but Tutorial, Modern Day, Dark Ages, and the fact that Pepper-Pult would be the worst if it was not for Hot Potato. Pepper-Pult basically acts as a cheaper Melon-Pult, having a shared feature called Area Damage, and ontop of that heats up surrounding plants, though still has a lower damage, it still works for me. I disagree with Modern Day plant because Nightshade just sucks, and Grimrose gets that one extra use when boosted by Moonflower, but it's eight on the tip of agreement. For Dqrk Ages, I just find a whole, whole lot more uses for Magnet Shroom than Sun Shroom, like, Magnet Shroom basically carried by through Neon Mixtape Tour, ripping the heads off the Kicking Zombies, it let me hold my lanes organized and he didn't push back my plants. Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinions, and everyone should, I just don't agree with some of it.

I agree with basically everything except for the take on guacodile. The thing that makes it good is fast recharge allowing it to be spammable as an insta. It's hard to pick but I'd say tangle kelp is the worst big wave beach plant.

I would have said E.M. Peach for Far Future. It's another very specific use plant and it's pretty stupid to spend another seed slot on stunning mechs when you could blow them up with cherry bomb.
One problem is most of mecha in Far Future can survive an insta with the exception of shield mecha. So E.M. Peach while being niche is very useful thanks to it having large radius and long duration stun
Citron at the other hand, is terrible in every world, since it isn't even good in Far Future let alone any other world. The zombie density in PvZ 2 is simply will never work in favor of Citron ever

Cabbage-pult’s damage at level 20 is 120, Peashooter’s is 110. However, Peashooter has much better attack speed, making it so much better than cabbage(at higher levels, especially). Peashooter isn’t a great plant, but cabbage isn’t either. (Why have I just been clowning on cabbage)

@@josiahserrano6651 Magnifying Grass is good, mostly because of Pvz2’s 50 sun meta. It’s pretty easy to get a good sun production in this game, and that just makes Magnifying Grass better. Spore-shroom does well aginst larger hordes of weak zombies, while struggles against tanky zombies. The spawned Spore-shrooms aren’t always in the best spot either, so makes the plant a bit worse. Cool gimmick, but not that good of a plant.
Theres no way u put puff shroom and magnifying grass there, literally magnifying grass is op and puff shroom can block zombies and oh the plant food is amazing meanwhile magnet shroom only counters metal and punk zombies. Thats it. Like majority of zombies dont give a crap about magnet shroom. And em peach is worse than magnifying grass

How I would fix these plants
1- Cabbage Pult: Make it hit zombies before being on the lawn, or decrease the sun cost (this doesn't make sense, I don't know what I was thinking)
2- Grave Buster: Make it cost 25 sun but have a 10 or 5 second recharge.
3- Spring Bean: Make it have a 5 second delay and bounce back 2 tiles, has to compete with chard guard.
4- Split Pea: Make it cost 100 sun, Simple!
5- Citron: Make it shoot more frequently.
6- Sun bean: Sun beans worse than magnet shroom, okay? Make it cost 0 sun. Fine, I'll do magnet shroom
7- Magnet shroom: Make it cost 50 sun and decrease the recharge time.
8- Guacodile: I personally think and tangle kelp are worse but okay: Make it cost 100 sun and make it do more damage.
9- Tangle Kelp: Make it cost 0 sun.
10- Hot potato: Make it's recharge better, still would be bad though, so maybe make it an instant that can kill frostbite caves zombies as well?
11- Gold Leaf: Make it cost more sun but DECREASE THE RECHARGE!!! I feel like a 100 sun and 5 second recharge is good.
12- Endurian: Make it cost as much sun as wall nut as endurian is arguably worse than wall nut.
13- Intensive carrot: Make it cost 25 sun less than the plant it's imitating and make it's recharge 10 seconds.
14- Garlic: Make it cost 25 Suns and lower the recharge to 10 seconds.
15- Spore Shroom: Make it cost 0 sun but make it's recharge longer like 25 seconds.
16- Grimrose: Make it's recharge 5 seconds but make it cost 125 sun.
This took 26 minutes to make.

I think Spore Shroom is worse than intensive carrot. If you lose a plant that costs like 300 sun. Instead of stalling and waiting to get the sun needed to replace it, just use intensive carrot and get it back. So if you like using expensive setups, you’ll like intensive carrot
That is a fair point.
The thing with intensive is that people always mention how you can replace expensive plants. But why would you lose them in the first place? If i got a winter melon or banana launcher or coconut cannon or any expensive plant, I'd put it at the back so I don't lose it. Additionally intensive has piss poor recharge so it's just not worth bringing. At least spore shroom does damage and can be used, intensive has no purpose other than being a cool concept.

Garlic is a better 2nd pick or even Worst plant of NMT imo, Garlic has way too much niche strategies, along with that, every world has atleast 1-2 zombies that nullify (Wizard, Octo, Snowball thrower, Shovel zombie), Just ignore (dodo, Breakdance zombie's ability, Piano zombies ability) or instakill garlic (any gargantaur, Shovel zombie In the far right lanes which is where garlic is usually placed, Torch zombie, fisherman zombie, and Many, many more.)

Second, as you said, it needs high health zombies, and to be serious, there are not a lot of high health zombies that eat plants (the only ones are brick heads of the various eras, the bullies and some other rare zombies). And third, magnetshroom is GOATED: it can delete any defense from knight zombies and bucketheads, intakill punks, and it's a perfect plant from defense!
Also, I guess we're not going to talk about the small mushroom (I don't remember the name for now). I mean, yeah, free defense, but it's basically an half peashooter.

Not really. Cabbage-pult is designed to counter graves. Now, Bloomerang essentially just makes Cabbage-pult fall off completely, as it just handles graves much better. Targeting zombies instead of ice blocks doesn’t really help, as Cabbage-pult has poor damage anyways, and it’s better just to bring a fire plant like Snapdragon or Fire Pea. Once you get to Dark Ages, you have much better ways to counter graves. One of the biggest problems with Cabbage-pult is how the damage scales with his levels. This is a problem with other pult plants, but plants like Winter-melon are good at level 1. Cabbage isn’t. If you compare a level 10 peashooter with a level 10 Cabbage-pult, Cabbage will deal nearly half the damage. Besides, if you have a problem with graves, just use plants like Boingsetta or Pepper-mint, which will instantly clear most graves.

tbh I have to disagree with spring bean. Your reasons are valid if you're talking about it on its own but pair it with blover and a plant food and you could literally wipe waves of zombies. Helped me a lot in endless.

Have you tried using Sun Bean in Arena and Penny's Pursuit? It's actually better than Gold Bloom because of the faster recharge and the zombies are tankier. Oh sure, it has competition from Solar Sage but both are good.
Yeah that is probably it's strongest use. It's honestly crazy in those modes.
I disagree on AG, to me the worst plant there is Twin Sunflower, like... you need to wait two suns fall down to plant ONE, it's just not a good take bring TSunflower, while GB helps a lot... during Dark Age, but stills helps a lot

There are a few arguments that are flawed here where you provide alternate examples of plants to use, some of which are premium plants which not everyone would have access to.
I can agree with some of these but Intensive Carrot Grimrose and Perfume Shroom are certainly not the worst of their worlds. Celery Stalker is easily the worst neon mixtape tour plant by a long shot. Goop Shroom is a good utility plant but by the time you get to modern day you already have plenty of good ones like Primal Potato and Stallia or even Iceberg Lettuce. Primal Walnut is useful with it being a quick planting wall, but people forget that we have Infin-nut plant food which does loads more to help.

Cabbage Pult is worse than peashooter because it actually shoots a tiny bit slower, and its projectiles are a lot more likely to miss and hit nothing than peas that keep going down the lane

Actually, I agree with you on most of the plants! However, I have other reasons of why I think they are the worst.
Cabbage pult: The projectiles travel way slower than peashooter, and it just gets power-creeped by its brothers like kernel pult, melon pult, winter melon, and even PEPPER PULT!?! Also there’s no point in using it after getting bloomerang( which will also get power-creeped in other worlds )
Grave buster: Only useful for Ancient Egypt and Dark Ages. The modern day graves are super easy to destroy and it’s better to use it to stall zombies instead of actually destroying graves, ( for example on ancient Egypt level 28, I just use grave buster and iceberg lettuce to stall the pyramid-head zombies )
Spring bean: Only good for Pirate seas, and it gets literally power creeped by a load of plants ( such as chard guard, primal peashooter and hurrikale ) Also wtf does it just knock zombies back by a tile, and why does it need to sleep for so long, just to bounce a zombie back for 1 tile only!?!
Split pea: Nah, Starfruit and celery stalker are just better. ( Also just use chard guard or hurrikale to knock a zombie away from the back lol )
Hot potato: Absolute steaming pile of garbage. Just use fire plants ( Also don’t use pepper-pult, use snapdragon instead )
Gold leaf: I forgot this plant exists💀
I don’t think Citron is the worst because the plant food ability can instant K.O any zombie ( not machine ) I think E.M. peach is the worst plant because even though the disabling is long, it’s just much better to use a defensive plant like wall-nut to stall the machines ( or just use iceberg lettuce or stallia) Also if you thought E.M. peach is better for stalling bot swarms, just use blower to blow away all the bots before they land.
Magnet- Shroom: It’s only good when you spam them, or keep using the plant food ability ( also it’s only good for stunning the boss during the boss fight ) You don’t need it anymore in other worlds. Not even for punk zombie which is already super easy to defeat. ( also it just gets power- creeped by bramble bush which can remove ALL armour, including excavator zombie’s shovel ) Also wtf can’t magnet shroom take away excavator’s shovel or cart-head zombies’s cart ( bro the wheels are literally made of metal )
Intensive carrot: Erm what the sigma is this poop💀
Perfume shroom: Very bad unless you use it on the right dinosaurs such as pterodactyl or T-Rex, cuz for the other dinosaurs, you can literally
counter them with blover. Also very slow recharge.
I don’t think guacodile is the worst big wave beach plant, because even though it’s long range attack is trash, you can spam them and use them as mini instant-kills with very quick recharge. ( Banana launcher and winter melon are better at taking down high- health zombies ) Or you can use guacodile as a panic switch, like if a zombie is leaking, you can use guacodile rush as a last resort to kill the leaking zombie.
I think the worst plant is tangle kelp,because it always targets the wrong zombies, and is only effective against octo or fisherman zombies if you plant it directly on them. (It’s useful for the boss fight tho, if the boss is using the fan attack, place it near the boss and the attack will be stopped and you can get a bit of time to whittle down the boss’s hp )
Grimrose: It’s only recommended to use them against dangerous zombies such as all-stars or excavators, or high-health zombies such as brickhead or buckethead zombies. Also its targeting is somewhat glitched, and it always drags down the wrong zombies. Also it just sucks for flying zombies.
4:41 citron is ONE of THE best plants, it deals heavy damage and yes he does have a slow fire rate but having heavy damage being able to insta kill a normal zombie, 2 hits on a cone zombie, and around 3-4 hits on bucket heads and other tankier basic zombies. Plus his plant food effect DISINTEGRATES a Gargantuar prime. You just have to have other plants to stall for citron before you fully make your citron defense
I think the worst plants are plants that are only used for 1/2 worlds, like the grave buster, hot potato, ect

but it good at early game and for octo or fisherman if there's no zombie what will ruin this
modern day:grimrose:if he will not nerfed and he still will attacks gargs or mechs nightshade will be worst but grimrose is actually decent and good if you using on all star or newspaper zombie.
After thinking about the spring bean statement for a bit, I think spring beans should have a small chance to yeet zombies of the lawn
Agree with everything except Guacodie because it has fast recharge and the fact that it’s basically a mower when the zombie comes too close. Grim Rose can be useful in SOME situations but there are better instas like Cherry Bomb, Grapeshot, etc.

first, hot potato can infact melt octopi at higher levels, which is a HUGE benefit.
secondly, the spelling on this feels majorly odd for some of them
third, grave buster can explode at higher levels.
fourthly, tangle kelp can't be spammed nearly as well as guac, and its better to treat guac as a mini spammable lawnmower.
fifthly, if you are going to use fisherman zombie as an argument on why kelp shouldnt be the worst, all you need to counter every fisherman zombie is infi-nut plant food.
sixthly, id argue endurian is genuinely worse due to how utterly atrocious it is as a damaging wall, along with the fact that since now you can place gold leaf on any level, you can get way more value for it, especially in endless stages if you arent able to get gold blooms.

Personally I'd say Sun Bean is the worst plant in Dark Ages.
Magnet Shroom isn't great, but at least it helps in a way that other plants don't. At least not until Modern Day where you get poison shroom, which goes through armor.
Plus the plant food effect makes it an okay pick up until then.
Sun Bean sucks because every other sun producer does its job better. They don't rely on anything to give you sun, they just give it to you.
Sun Bean is the kind of plant that you bring instead of a normal sun producer just to make things harder on yourself. The only reason to use Sun Bean is in player-created challenges that people do to spice up the game.
Not to mention, it's double the cost of Sun Shroom, which you get in the exact same world and is an infinitely better sun producer.
The only thing remotely useful about Sun Bean is its plant food effect, and even *THAT* is only useful if there's a tanky zombie on the lawn.
This plant is just terrible.

I hate some "extra hard competition" event - western competition. The last stage, when you have to beat the boss. There is no plants to attack or even to stop the boss from destroying your plants - they give you spikeweed, hypno shroom, electric currant, wall nut and iceberg lettuce. The only two ways to hit the boss - when zombie eat hypno shroom (but they walk veeeeeeery slow and boss walks and jumps very often and fast, so, it 85-90% possibility the boss will have no damage) or make a special attack with spikeweed.
But, the most annoying moment, which made me lose this level for 10000 times - are zombie chickens. And the only reason you fail with this level again and again, and again, and again - because there is no attacking plant. Boss attacks you too often, destroying the whole two lines of your plants - and you can do nothing with that, even with special attack - it doesn't stop him. Than, it releases the zombie with chickens - and you are done, because conveyor is too slow and you can wait several seconds for plants. And it will take a decades till it give you a plant just to stop or kill running chickens - you must have at least two plants on each of empty line, but conveyor doesn't give you a chance.
I play this game for many years, my plants are pretty strong, but I always lose this "extra hard wildwest" last level for a multiple of times.
I don’t think I would have made it through NMT without magnet shroom due to the amount of bucket heads being insane

Tbh in the tutorial where Cabbage is introduced on has graves, Cabbage can lob over graves but peashooter can't. Also Cabbage lobs everyone for his plant food skill which is great for easily wiping out a wave.
Steam Ages in Reflourished breaths new life into Split Pea. Though even there it ain’t the best plant, it’s still a nice option.
For lost city its kind of a tough pick between Gold Leaf and Endurian.
People have said that Endurian fails as a wall plant and I agree as its stats speak for how bad it is. It has less health than a normal wall nut while costing twice as much and the chip damage not being very much.
Gold Leaf is bad because the gold tiles take so long to produce another sun, it takes too long to pay itself back. At least its doesn't take space.

The reason I disagree with Cabbage Pult being worst from the Tutorial world is because..
Though Cabbage Pult and Peashooter has pretty much the same damage and speed, Cabbage Pult still has that juicy feature where he hits zombies from behind obstacles like Gravestones and Octopuses, unlike the Peashooter who needs to break them first.
This makes the Cabbage Pult, in my opinion, better than Peashooter.
But I still agree with everything but Tutorial, Modern Day, Dark Ages, and the fact that Pepper-Pult would be the worst if it was not for Hot Potato. Pepper-Pult basically acts as a cheaper Melon-Pult, having a shared feature called Area Damage, and ontop of that heats up surrounding plants, though still has a lower damage, it still works for me.
I disagree with Modern Day plant because Nightshade just sucks, and Grimrose gets that one extra use when boosted by Moonflower, but it's eight on the tip of agreement.
For Dqrk Ages, I just find a whole, whole lot more uses for Magnet Shroom than Sun Shroom, like, Magnet Shroom basically carried by through Neon Mixtape Tour, ripping the heads off the Kicking Zombies, it let me hold my lanes organized and he didn't push back my plants.
Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinions, and everyone should, I just don't agree with some of it.
