    Have I mentioned how magical that background is?? 🤩🤤 Drooling. When we finally get off our butts and get moved up to North Carolina, I hope we can snag some of those views like yours. You’re in WV or TN?
    I’m intrigued by the green giant 💚
    The California tulip is gorgeous 🧡
    I snort all the time! 🐷

      Oh wow North Carolina will be beautiful. You’ll definitely be able to grow some big slicers there. 😁

      Green Giant is in the running for top 10. 😄

    hi there! thanks a lot for all these tasting videos - one question though: which are your 10 favorite tomato varieties (taste- and productionwise), greetings from berlin, germany

      Hello. And at the end of this season I plan on doing a video dedicated to my favorites out of the over 300 varieties I grew. I’m also thinking I’ll do one for my top 10 I’ve ever grown throughout my 5 years of trying new tomatoes.

      @@jencordial awesome, can‘t wait! i am growing 50 varieties this year but must admit that this is not a good year for tomatoes. too much rain and pretty low temperature. i guess thats the reason why there not that many types which give me a wow. but you definately should try „rosa oma“ (pink grandmom), its a great tasting and high productive variety.

    Kalifornia tulip looks like what I’m looking for! My husband prefers firm tomatoes with less juice. But only red is boring.

      And love the Heinz fun fact

    • @jencordial
      @jencordial  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m also a fan of the more sturdy tomatoes. I don’t like the mushy or mealy ones. Kalifornia Tulip is very unique.

    I'm glad your California Tulip turned out good. I got seeds that were supposed to be California Tulip but ended up being a pink heart. They taste fine but they aren't what I wanted to try. Now I want to try the real ones even more.
    Thanks for the reviews!

      It can be such a bummer when that happens. I probably have around 10 or so varieties this year in my garden like that. Like you I’ll just try to trade again for the right seeds. I hope you’ll get to try it next year. 😁

      @@jencordial on the ones that are not 2hat they're supposed to be, you can offer them as noid mater seeds. I am the type I wouldn't have a problem growing them as long as I have an interest in it.

    What are steamers? Yes, Heinz is the best! Btw, I’ve made homemade “tomato jam” which is used like ketchup, and it’s F-I-N-E!

    • @jencordial
      @jencordial  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Steamers are similar to sloppy joes but better. I’m pretty sure I made them in an old vlog. They never last very long in my house. And you won’t believe the ingredients once you’ve tasted them.

      It definitely didn’t have a flavor explosion that’s for sure. I loved the name because I’m in West Virginia.
