Thanks for reaching out, it depends on what type of custom you want to make. You can modify an existing figure or make your own figure if you have the sculpting discipline. I'm still learning how to sculpt, masks, figures etc. They have a lot of online courses you can check out. The best online courses are from Stan Winston - www.stanwinstonschool.com/
check it out when you can. I think it's like $249.00 for a whole year with unlimited classes, it's insane.
Or you can try Domestika - they have classes from $9.99.

Regarding the small movie props, you can come up with your own mini props. It's not a toy but a cool collector's "one of a kind" piece. You can use Sculpey clay found at any hobby/art store and some acrylic paints. The shell of the packages you can find in different sizes.
