I know it’s a dumb thing to single out but I really like how you actually use a macro lens to show the texture etc. It’s great to have the lens used to actually showcase design instead of just for b roll.
You need enough funds to be able to do continuous production so there is nothing wrong with starting off with limited drops to one, acquire the funds needed and two, figure out how popular their product is in the market so when they go full production they will know what to budget around. Later this year glsswrks will have solid color pads that are going to be in constant production, but they will never stop doing limited edition drops like these as there would be no good reason why they should. It keeps hype coming back into the company and the people like you that end up missing a drop can still get the experience of the product just without a picture on it. Its a win win and it works extremely well, wallhack is the perfect example of that.
@@kami3449 I understand the business aspect of limited drops, I'm just tired of them. I'm old enough and my aim is good enough that I can play really well on most pads. For me the art is probably 40% of the attraction, so even if their solid pads are $70-80 I'm not going to buy one. Why would I buy a boring pad when there might be a limited drop I like more just around the corner.
@kami3449 Hardly disagree. The ONLY unique thing about glass pads is the artwork. If you were to use a "solid color" pad, just go with Infinite Speed, Raiden and such. Just save yourself from dealing with stickiness, dust and all other drawbacks of glass. Glass is marginally faster than these and i'd rather wash my Raiden every now and then than buying packs of mouse feet and non stop wiping sweat spots, dust, wearing a sleeve and non stop lifting my arm off the pad to "let it breathe" as i DESPISE sleeves that cover your palm because it makes any gripstyle feel odd. And if you were to use solid color glass just go with Skypad tbf, i see absolutely no reason to go with some random newcomer if it wasnt for the unique design.

And this newcomer you speak of has the smoothest surface compared to any other glasspad available, so smooth that unless you live in a 90-100% humidity area you wont need a sleeve. The surface also doesn't wear down mouse skates as fast as a skypad, 1 pack of skates regardless of the material its made of will easily last you up to 2 years or more. They also have the best anti dust and anti moisture compared to any other glasspad manufacturer. I have a few artisan pads and I prefer my glasspads. At the end of the day its a personal preference if you like cloth over glass or vice versa, but if you have only tried 1 type of glass surface then you cant speak as if you tried several especially when they can feel completely different to each other. The design is irrelevant, the surface is what matters the most. I would also never recommend skypad as someones first glasspad as its literally one of the fastest glasspad currently available. I would only recommend a balanced or controlled pad for new people.

I was fortunate to get the last one on lethal gaming and this being my first glass pad... it's amazing to say the least. Wish the contrast color was red but its a great functional piece of art.

Got one of the pre-orders luckily, It took 2 mins for me to get through the queue, and within 5 mins all 400 were gone 🤯I saw they had a good amount coming on the 10th so hopefully, more people can get it. I really thought my Empress would be the one and only. The rabbit hole looks good 😂. I will say I liked the look of Akari but this one is just fire IMO From the accent colors to the koi in the background. Really well done.

And the kazemi is faster but has more control? that doesnt work ^^ you need to work on your wording: "compared to the empress you do notice more of a texture on this pad" which would mean on the kazemi, bc thats the one ur talking about. I know it sounds "cheesy" or maybe even impossible, but the Akari + now this are literally the only proven Glass Pads on the entire market that actually have real sweat/stick resistance. Even if you dont believe it, there is actually 0 stick on these pads. You can try it out yourself and make up your own opinion, even though there are videos and tests for it etc

I live in a area thats constant 80-90% humidity with temperatures reaching into the hundreds and i slightly sweat when I play and my arm and wrist still dont stick, its extremely different to every other glasspad, especially compared to wallhacks that I cant use at all without a sleeve.

Why do you speak on something you have no idea about ? Have you owned a glsswrks product? Do you own a lot of other Glass pads? Can or have you compared them to each other? Im not even joking when i say comparing a pad from them to skypad for example, its not even in the same league. You could throw away any skypad after testing this one for once. Skypad or most other Glass Pads use regular photovoltaic glass in their production, which then gets a texture lasered on it. Thats it, literally nothing more, the Akari from Glsswrks for example was refrigerator safety glass, heat treated at 700 celsius, bonded with multiple materials into the surface as "coating" (not even really a coating as the materials became one with the surface) The pads from glsswrks are literally the only ones that are insanely silent, with an incredibly smooth surface which compares to no other, vivid art that doesn’t look like its under the surface in person like most other pads, + imo the greatest achievement, a true no stick no sleeve required experience. How is this not innovating? Literally no other glass pad has these features, it set itself apart from the market

Secondly, glsswrks never lets bot orders through, after each drop they go through every order manually minutes after to verify everything and if some order was suspicious they will get cancelled immediately and return to the shop so someone can buy, this is known information if you are in the discord. They sell out fast because the demand is high. "20 Pads" their newest release Kazemi had 3333 Units, across many retailers, the drop on their official site went on for 6 Minutes before it was sold out, and on other retailers it was up for days, you had a fair chance of getting one if you were there first minute or bought from a retailer. Now comes the funny part, if you would have shown slight interest in the product even, you would have known that they had a alternate version of the Kazemi in black/white and either 490x420/500x500 up as UNLIMITED PRE ORDER for 7 whole days from July 10th to July 17th, they produced on demand afterwards. So legit anyone could have gotten their pad. Next time maybe do some actual research and look into what youre buying properly instead of spewing misinformation :) yes, you could have tested it yourself and convinced yourself by now.
