Mines comes with a red, black, yellow wire. The red came connected to the fuse and the black is for ground but I am confused on where the yellow wire goes, can you help me out?
9 months late on the comment but finally getting around to replacing my current eBay fogs from years ago with.....more Ebay trash fogs. Lol I have the same wires as you and the yellow wire is throwing me off. I think it will be where the green goes in this video and our red is his white since it goes to fuse.y kit has a blue wire and a blue extension wire to run through the firewall but all these come prewired for fogs so I'm just going to use the organge wire through the firewall... Tl;Dr: Him = Us White = Red Green = yellow Black = black I think....
What can i do if i think i burn the lil box number 2. The switch would light up befor when i would turn my headlights on but know it doesn't even turn on.
Was that green wire your acc wire? On my fog lights there's no green wire but a yellow one and a blue one that feeds the headlights and the red one that was labeled battery which I think would probably go on slot five which didn't come with the connection just wire but still could be trapped into the ignition but I shouldn't have to so I'll just buy the proper fuse connection so I'm yet to get things working. Edit Okay with mine I put the red on the five and the yellow in the one right beside it and bingo were in action.

I cannot find the orange wire. Is it tied in with one of the harnesses? I also don’t have a red wire with fog lights. Where does this red wire come from?
Question, my friend bought a pair of fog lights off Ebay as well, but her plugs are different, where you have to connect into the orange wire that is already in the car. I try splicing the wires on both side and connected them both, it didn't seem to get any power source. in my car at the fuse box I plugged the wires into 4 and 5 I think, the two left bottom. In her car I tried 1,2,4,5 and didn't get any source to the orange wire. fuse is good, ground is connected and the power light, lights up the fog switch. any help would be appreciated. thanks
make sure the wires are connected to 5 and 2, no other combo...I'm not sure why you splice the orange wire that is already inside the car, but make sure it is connected securely.
If it didn't have a wire to connect with the orange wire, then you might have got a kit that was general. Usually if the kit was only made for Prelude, then it will have that wire.

at the front of the car it is on the driver side behind the signal light its an orange wire yes, but it has a black tape over it, the plug looks like a small tube, same as inside beside the clutch, it does not stick out as far
I found it thanks, the only issue is my kit only came with a white and red wire and ground for inside the car , and for the front only has the black and red connectors for the lights no extra red wire to connect to front orange wire

I hooked it up like you did but mine don't work my switch wires came out of the clip I think I need a new harness

I was about to purchase a set of fog lights for my 99 prelude and do it myself.... then I saw how completed this looks to be.... nevermind.
