    I love that you've actually used all these setups for years at a time and know them backwards. I didn't expect the old bus to be the favourite, but it makes a lot of sense when you talk it out

      All the different rigs probably accounts for my small bank balance 😆 It has been a lot of fun though.

    Really enjoyed the video. How many miles have you traveled.

      I honestly couldn't tell you. We travelled around Australia full time for 5 years and then started to really explore our home state part time. It has been many thousands of kilometres.

    Thanks for this series Marc, I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
    Do you know whatever happened to your old Bedford bus?
    Is it still going today?

      Glad you enjoyed it. There is a very long and complicated story behind the fate of the bus but the short version is that it was stolen by a caravan park that was helped by corrupt police. We lost all our personal posessions and it took a very long time to put it behind us.

    Gee the old Barina looked like Mike Tyson gave it a touch up 😂 How are you going with the repairs to the coaster door/sill?

      Yeah the poor litle Barina was hit by a Troopy that overtook us as we turned right into Bush Bay south of carnarvon. If we had turned about 4 seconds earlier, we would have been T boned and wouldn't be here today. Took the Coaster in for a quote last week and are now waiting for word from CIL.

    Is fual cheap in oz?

    • @WesternAustraliaNowAndThen
      @WesternAustraliaNowAndThen  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess it depends on where you are as it is all relative to the local cost of living. It certainly isn't as cheap as in the USA. Over the last 18 months the price has continued to climb and now it is generally around $2.10 a litre in large cities and quite a bit more the more remote you get. If my calculations are correct that would make a gallon here cost about $7.93au (That is diesel prices, standard petrol is a bit chaper.)
