We stayed overnight three times on Assateague. Our first visit, we spent the night on the beach. It was near sunset and we were grilling veggies on a pan over the fire and we were approached by two wild horses. They helped themselves to burned lips by trying to eat our grilled veggies which were being browned in oil. They only took a bite and moved on. I was shocked how they pretty much accosted our camp. They nosed through our food. My wife was terrified because it was pretty intimidating and she's tiny. I assured her they would not be back. Since, she is afraid to go back to Assateague, but we still visit the areas. We use a van and cruise regularly along the East coast. I loved the beach and having our tent and campsite right there on the sand. It was magical. God bless and keep rollin!
@@andreaweissleder8722 we got them from Amazon! Here are the links: -STICKY Stuff (mounting tape-we use this on things like our plants that we may want to move later): amzn.to/3XHpyEA -SUPER STICKY Stuff (we used this on stuff like the jewelry holder that we have no plans to move): amzn.to/3NGT5JZ
@@andreaweissleder8722 the farm was sooo cute!! It is in Smyrna Delaware and it did have electric! We posted the listing to it in the description of the video- it should take you right to it!
Ahh, wish you would have grabbed bikes and rode the wildlife loop, get off at trail to the beach. You would have loved it, no crowds, in fact some days you're the only one out there. Also the pony trail. Chincoteague is a great place to park the car, get on your bikes and go explore Chincoteague and Assateague. Also off season you'll see migrating birds like swans, snow geese, bufflehead ducks and others. My favorite quiet no frills place to unwind. Thanks for sharing your time, we didn't visit the museum nor take a boat ride yet.
Y’all would have a blast!! Yes- for our camper we usually have a base, it could be a state park, campground, or someone’s land through HipCamp (it’s like AirBnb but camping version), and then we explore in that area or take a day trip close by!
The horsies!!! 🐎 🐎 🐎 🐴 🥹
😍😁😍😁
I read the book Misty of Chincoteague when I was a kid
No way!! That is awesome 😊

Great videography! What is the name of the sticky tape stuff?
