@@PeachShortcake_ The nice thing about working for a youtube channel host rather than a standard company in my mind is that to a degree the editor can set his/her own price range and not one that is determined by the government. There are definitely pros and cons to this system but as long as the channel keeps growing in popularity, so can the editor's pay since the only thing holding the rate/hour back is the money that the channel host is able to accumulate.
Then again, I could be totally wrong as I have never worked for a youtuber before. XD :)
To answer your actual question more directly however, I believe anything that is at least double minimum wage is certainly not bad and that seems to be about average with only the potential to grow.
Besides, if I am right in my assumption that RedFalc is already paying Sime out of his own pocket for his editing work, I feel it would be a lot better and heartfelt imo if the video idea had to do with paying someone who he doesn't normally pay already.
