Some words of comfort here regarding your windsreen damage. The angel of the windsreen compared to other cars is more towards the "vertical position" which exposes it more to stone damage, stones which may otherwise would "slide off" . On any trip I do with my troopy I end up with at least 2 cracks. On your Mt.Augustus trip where your tyres 225/95/r16 or 235/85/r16?Like your videos

Thank you for your comfort words!
      You're right regarding the angle.
After the "stone events" we tried to stop left on gravel, if a car was oncoming.
So this car had the center of the road or at least the velocity of stones was halved.
Near Mt.Augustus we got a flat tyre because the car had about 20.000 km on the speedometer
(a lot of them where gravel tracks) and we choosed on dusk a not suitable place for camping.
In the morning we saw the pointed stones...
By the way - our car had 225/95/R16 tyres.
