I recommend the inland Murchison area if you are flexible in your planning. Head east across the Butchers Track to Murchison township and check out the back roads and Station Stays.

@ 0:13 Its a more scenic drive if you go past the Kennedy Ranges to get to Gascoyne Junction. Unless you had previously been that way before.
Thanks, we thought so too, but our tires were already very worn out. We therefore wanted to return the vehicle to Perth as quickly as possible, but first we wanted to go to Francois Peron NP on the way there. So we skipped the Kennedy Ranges. Robert

The red flower with black centre is Sturt's desert pea. Occasionally there is a an all red variety or rarely a cream colored one..... Beautiful!
