I am very grateful for your video, I am making invitations for my aunt's wedding and I couldn't paint leaves like that. Thanks to you I can do it very nicely, THANK YOU VERY MUCH:)
This was excellent! Thank you so much, you really showed in slow motion and explained which brush to use, how to place it and drag it and where to apply pressure, and how to load the paint. So many details that are lost when I try to learn from others! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
😭 getting to where God wants me. I have always wanted to do art but someone said to me as a child that only foolish people like to draw, went to university have my degree yet went into business making hats. Opened a store, was too much pressure for me to handle now am back working from home and then the inspiration to do wood signs came back to me as now I have the time to experiment and learn and now I want to paint it by hand and here I am in tears because this video has quickened my spirit .
Thank you for the video. Very well instructed, and I like how the way you took your time to explained the technique you didn’t talk fast which was very helpful for me. Thank you so much!
Im more crafty than artsy, though I always wanted to be an artist. I have no technique when it comes to painting. A few months ago my dog, who was absolutely my child, my daughter, passed and somehow i had the presence of mind to make painted paw imprints on canvas which look like flowers. I need to add stems and leaves for sure, but had no idea where to begin and i desperately dont want to mess up because there's only two canvases i made of her prints!! They're irreplaceable!! Your technique is super helpful, doesnt seemtoo difficult and im going to give it a try. Of course I'll paint on plain paper until i gain the confidence to paint them on the paw print canvases. Thank you for teaching me these amazing techniques!
Would this work well on canvas ? I didn't know if the color distribution would look so even and seamless. Thanks so much for this, I haven't held any paint in eons and I was trying to make a project come together of turning acrylic paw prints into flowers on canvas
Wonderful tutorial, I am a beginner and would love to try to make these leaves, but I don't know the sizes of the 4 brushes, can you help me with that. Thank you, you are a great teacher.
Hi there! There are 3 brushes shown in this tutorial - a Filbert, a Flat, and an Angle brush. You can find our brush kits here: shop.decoart.com/designers-brush-sets/?sku=DABK38-K Happy painting from DecoArt!
Thanks for making it as easy as you can....but I'm just not getting the hang of it. "It can be a little tricky but with practice...." that's the key - practice, practice, practice...thanks for the push appreciate you...
Forget the colouring.. i cant even get the shape right. Im about as artistic as a discarded army boot! Trying desperately to learn, and in all honesty, i dont think you could explain and show any clearer! Im just a math person, and clearly wont be able to fill my house with art. My daughter... she SELLS her paintings! I cant do this to save my life!
I'm learning how to paint with acrylics and I'm glad I found your lessons. What acrylic paint should I use, and why are my brush strokes dry? I'm hoping you can help me because this has been a little discouraging.
