One of the Perth incidents involved a pilot lining up and trying to land on a road near the airport. ATC saw the aircraft was not lined up and directed a go around. Another incident involved a Garuda crew ignoring a displaced runway threshold due to maintenance and almost hitting work vehicles in a legitimate runway work zone.
