I wonder. Between Teruko's rant last chapter about how she was the protag and her saying that a personality like Ace will get killed quickly. I'm beginning to think that Ace might actually survive and Teruko dies later on.
So it begins. A theory time! Man, that previous chapter brought some interesting plot points. So far, Eden raised her death flag so much, I'm not sure what to think about it. Usually, the one who either raises everyone's spirit or the one the group depends on the most is the one who either dies or kills someone in chapter 2. Eden happens to fill that role. She was my presumed mastermind from the theory I made about a year ago. Unless... that's part of her plan! Be kind to everyone and raise their hope to crush it over and over! Man, that would be cruel. Other than that. So far, third-best boi Levi is my most likely killer in this chapter. The reason should be obvious- it's clear that his dark past is his secret, and someone knows about it. He is a kind-hearted character and tries to be a better person, but he did show a darker side of himself in the previous chapter. His secret may be so bad, he might be able to permanently silence the person who knows it. Especially if that person tries to blackmail him. It's the one thing he won't talk about, and there has to be a good reason why. Unless... that's another red herring! Who knows, the chapter has just begun! :D Other than them, my other possible candidates to consider as the next victim/killer are J, Hu, Ace, and Arei. J is my least probable pick. We just learned something big about her, and I believe this will keep going for a while. Especially when we just saw a new side of Arturo. But for some reason, I have a feeling J won't survive chapter 3, and that may be the moment Arturo gets a big character development. I mean, it's possible it'll happen in chapter 2, but... my least probable hunch. As for the rest, I don't have any big reason. Just a hunch based on how they acted during the trial and in the previous episode. And of course, there's always a possibility that someone did receive their motive, but just didn't let anyone know. In that case, let's watch the next episodes carefully! Maybe they will slip up or something. Anyway, that's it from me! See you on Friday! :)
@@frangolles Oh, well... it's not a very elaborate theory, it's just a few things that I think could tie to her being a mastermind. The whole prediction thing could also be outdated because of the information we learned in the previous episode. Not that I was ever sure I'll get everything with 100% accuracy. Just had some fun, writing it. :D If you are curious, it's somewhere in the comments of chapter 1, episode 12.
@@frangolles Hmm... you know? Yeah! That's a very interesting take! Didn't think of it that way. And it would be the ultimate backstab. Yeah, I love this! Great theory! :)
I’m hoping there will be six (like the first game) or seven survivors. But overall I feel Eden will be murdered or sacrificed herself. And I feel Arthuro is the mastermind
Not to be that person, but Teruko distancing herself from everyone and telling others to “leave” when they both are in a vulnerable situation together, is honestly a really smart thing to do in a killing game.
21:56 I kinda relate to this actually. It sucks when you’re just trying to be honest or get your opinion across and others see you as ‘rude’ or whatever.
Is it just me or does it feel like the main theme of the series is Trust vs Distrust, I feel like there's so much tension on whether the characters trust each other and Teruko main problem is her fear of getting betrayed again
Whit just slaying in the thumbnail lmaooo- also (Spoilers) I wanna know everyone’s secrets like I think Charles may have terukos but not sure exactly.. I also want arrogant charles again

Honestly, Teruko was totally in her right to reject Charles after how badly he treated her the first time they investigated. Since he wants to meet up with her, I have to believe that he actually got her secret, but something to note is that he was paying attention to her even before he got his secret.
Veronika is currently my favorite character, she always has something interesting to say and despite her wacky behaviour she is some sort of psychoanalyst.
i'm just enjoying the details of the gym where it said butter which i suppose should be a reference to Mondo and the Monokuma in the playground. What kind of sandpit doesn't have sand? Self aware Teruko?? She looks so done with this lmao
Okay so I don't know if it's just me who thought about this, but it's very, veeeery possible that Nico might be autistic. I'm an autistic person myself and gosh he's SO relatable. He doesn't get social cues or the difference between polite and casual or aggressive language whatsoever and he mentioned that people say he's often aggressive or too straightforward, and he doesn't notice at all. I've also noticed that he has some difficulty with differentiating what is serious and what is a joke, or rhetorical questions. I can relate to all of that so much. Another thing to add is that it's been proven that autistic people have more affinity towards animals than rather people, because neurotypical individuals seem to humanize animals a lot more. And this makes so much sense having in mind he's the Ultimate Pet Therapist. I should mention too that he's obviously very shy, or at least introverted, and this can be very connected to autism, since the big majority of us autistic individuals tend to prefer not being around too many people. His difficulty to speak to others at first is also a big sign. So yeah, that's my analysis. Noticing all this about Nico made me like him so much more since he's become so relatable, and it made me really happy to know there might be good autistic representation here! :D I also had in mind that Veronika might have ADHD. I don't have many arguments to back up this theory though, but she at least seems neurodivergent to me. I know her talent is literally being a horror fanatic, and so it makes sense that she's so passionate about everything related to it, but the way she gets lost rambling, appears to be very energetic or maybe even childish, is something that made me think about her having ADHD. I hope at least someone can relate to my thoughts lol
After watching this episode, I couldn't think about anything else but about how Niko is so autistic coded, I really felt so related to him, even if he's intended to be autistic or not (I don't really know) 😮👏
I have a theory that Teruko is actually from alternate universe. There are at least two things that point to that: 1st: She's the only one who doesn't know who Julia Rosales it even though she's very famous (everyone else knew about her besides Teruko) 2nd: She mentioned the killing game during the conversation with Veronika but she had no idea what she was talking about and thought Teruko was referring to very high crime rate. It's only a personal theory so don't take it for granted by the way.
Since she's the protagonist she's meant to be an audience self insert, how do you explain who Mariabella Rosales is without sounding awkward since everyone know her ? Simple, have the protagonist ignorant. Yeah, she could be from another universe too, there's no reason it can't be both reasons.
Thoughts from this episode... -The turf in the playground and relaxation room will be relevant to the murder, perhaps tracing the killer's steps or framing Nico -If people got sweaty in the gym, would their sweaty bodies pick up turf? Is that why the fans are relevant? -Will the resistance band Ace stole be relevant? -Levi probably won't be the killer this chapter. If he was, it'd basically halt Ace's chance of any character progression by proving him right to be hateful and volatile -They know the tragedy happened, but possibly not the events or the killing school life? Was history covered up, or is this connected to their amnesia? -The dress-up room provides a chance to craft disguises, if you have experience in theater tech or acting...
I love Veronika's little history lesson in this episode. The effects of the Tragedy on media and popular culture is such a cool world building detail. That kind of thing is super interesting but also not something that often gets explored in world building. The detail of Veronika's outfit having the same "mono" design with red accents, something associated with horror in this world, is such a nice touch. I wonder if Veronika's hairstyle being similar to Junko's has a similar reasoning. Perhaps that hairstyle became so married to Junko's image that most people stopped wearing their hair like that because of the uncomfortable association and the only time you'd see that style would be in media that's specifically invoking the Tragedy.
OUR FAVORITE PROTAGONIST TERUKO OUTFIT IS AMAZINGGGG!!!!!! LOVE IT It match her perfectly and her dark personality is that make sense EEEEEEEEE!!! SHES SOOO BADASSS!!!! anyway I wonder what Charles want to talk about with Teruko am curious not only that what favor MonoTv want from her OOOOOH its keep getting more and more interesting. Something bad is definitely going to happen to those minnows... Maybe a body will be swimming with the fishes. On a side note, it's a bit weird that Teruko knows of a killing game, while it seems like the others don't, but maybe her knowledge was the reason she was targeted in the first round.
6:43 this is a very good reason as to why Teruko thinks the way she does. Why she snapped at the first trial, why she’s so untrusting. It’s because of her status as a lucky student. 😢
For someone like teruko to just wanting to investigate she isnt very good at it, like she joins every conversation she is in and literally she herself says that she doesnt have the time to talk with anybody but she stills talks to everybody, my god teruko is confusing
Okay so quick theory (I am commenting this at the time this video was uploaded so there are no spoilers for any future videos past this one) with all the information given about the relaxation room-ie. the sticky turf and all that-there’s no way a murder isn’t going to at least partially happen there, and Nico volunteering to feed the fishes every day makes a very vulnerable target for a murder…
I see the turf being a point that frames Nico. Like, someone points out turf at the crime scene was taken from the relaxation room and therefore it must be Nico, but we learn it actually came from the playground, proving them innocent
Guys based on the 1st trial I think this fangame is based on Drv3 so: 1st Chapter: in Drv3 died a companion and someone who knew more than the others ( Kaede and Rantaro ) And in DRDT died a companion who knew more than the others ( Xander ) 2nd Chapter: in Drv3 died the shortest character and the mom of the group ( Ryoma and Kirumi ) And based on that the shortest character in DRDT is Eden and the mom of the group is Hu
I’d actually like to point out that DRDT could also be based off of DR1: *SPOILERS FOR DRDT [+BACKSTORY VIDEOS] and DR1* Chapter 1: -Both protags happen to be Ultimate Lucky Students -The motive for this chapter was the videos of their loved ones, which also happened in DR1; The only change was, well… we never actually got to *see* the videos in DRDT -The main characters (Makoto, Teruko) were betrayed by the “best friends” (Sayaka, Xander) -The blackends (Leon, Min) are people who did not have any intentions to kill, and only did it as an act of self defence; Both of them also have very.. questionable ways of defending themselves (Leon could’ve left Sayaka alone after she fled to the bathroom, and Min should’ve known that electricity and water *of all things* do not go together, seeing as she’s a literal learning prodigy, but then again: it was in the heat of the moment) -Also, both Leon and Min had conflicted feelings towards their talents; Leon had actually wanted to be a rockstar, and Min didn’t even want to be the Ultimate Student: she only did it to help support her family -The cast turns against both Makoto and Teruko in their respective games during the trial -And lastly, the killers had tried to incriminate the protagonists; it could be argued that Min was more intentional with it, as she had *directly* incriminated Teruko (by placing the knife in her hand and positioning her to where it looked like she and Xander had fought) Chapter 2 [Episode 1]: -The motive is now secrets, which was the same motive for DR1 again; The only difference this time was that the secrets were mixed up amongst the cast -This might be a *bit* of a stretch, but just a little something else: Someone else has revealed the secret of another to the main cast - Byakuya had revealed Toko’s secret (and used it against her), and Arturo had revealed J’s… most likely not out of malice, though And that’s as much as I could think of for now, but there might be more. Also, it could be said that DRDT takes inspiration from all three of the main games- I just found more in common with DR1 and DRDT, especially since DRDT apparently takes place in the same universe as DR1. That concludes my silly little analysis, and sorry if this was too long- I wanted to express the similarities between the DRDT and DR1, but found myself writing a bit too much- I still hope this made sense though, since it’s been eating away at me for some time now :’) Also, feel free to reply or correct me!
@@i_stole_ur_chicken7466 Listen... uh... I don't think this fangan will follow the official danganronpa chapter stereotypes, it would be WAY to predictable and just doesn't match at all. Imagine the author writing the fangan following the "natural" kill order on the original danganronpa, it feels pretty hard to pull off considering that these characters are pretty different one from each other. But thats only my opinion... i hope i am not wrong, i wanna be surprised by this fangan, not seeing the same order for the fourth time, you feel me?
@@PatitoSkull I completely get what you’re saying, and I’m sorry that my comment came off that way. I never meant to say that this fangan was following the exact *same* chapter stereotypes as the OG games- I just wanted to point out the similarities between the two. And I probably should’ve noted that I think that this fangan is sort of putting their own *spin* on the chapter’s and the motives in DR1. I don’t think that the author will follow the exact kill order or chapter tropes, for the same reasons as you said: I just think their playing with the motives in DR1 and making twists with them. DRDT CHP1 was structured pretty similar to DR1, in terms of the trial. The victim was a trusted friend of the protagonist and betrayed them, and the killer had only killed in self defence - that’s the main gist of the two. But they are different as well, such as the motive not *exactly* being the reason for murder in DRDT’s case, and the protagonist quite *literally* doesn’t trust anyone. And for CH2, they also reused the secrets motive from DR1, but put a *twist* on this one as well - switching up the secrets amongst the cast. I could also be wrong, though. And I agree with what you’re saying- that’d be too predictable and less enjoyable to watch, IMO. I just found it interesting that DRDT was taking the motives from DR1 and twisting them into their own. And for my last reply.. I probably shouldn’t have analysed that *deeply* because now I feel silly.. sorry about that. But thanks for the input :)

Other than them, my other possible candidates to consider as the next victim/killer are J, Hu, Ace, and Arei.
If you are curious, it's somewhere in the comments of chapter 1, episode 12.
@@frangolles Nice, that's very nice of you! Can't wait to see your improvements! :)
@@frangolles Hmm... you know? Yeah! That's a very interesting take! Didn't think of it that way. And it would be the ultimate backstab.
Yeah, I love this! Great theory! :)
Man I hate when I take a hole 10 minutes just to read everything hear
I’m hoping there will be six (like the first game) or seven survivors. But overall I feel Eden will be murdered or sacrificed herself. And I feel Arthuro is the mastermind
Not to be that person, but Teruko distancing herself from everyone and telling others to “leave” when they both are in a vulnerable situation together, is honestly a really smart thing to do in a killing game.

I love how Teruko got pissed off and aggressively punches the elevator button

MY BOY IN THE THUMBNAIL LOOKING AMAZING AS ALWAYS!
This episode is so damn good but also it's so weird to think it ends on MonoTV farting on teruko what the fuck
FR 💀💀
Is it just me or does it feel like the main theme of the series is Trust vs Distrust, I feel like there's so much tension on whether the characters trust each other and Teruko main problem is her fear of getting betrayed again
Veronika playing is so wholesome aaaa 😭
The two kinds of people:
"This sewing machine must be for mending clothes"
"This sewing machine must be for making clothes"
Whit just slaying in the thumbnail lmaooo- also

I wanna know everyone’s secrets like I think Charles may have terukos but not sure exactly.. I also want arrogant charles again
That makes complete sense! The secret could have something like really sad and that's probably the reason Charles wanted to explore with her, maybe he felt sympathy??
@@urmom1071 Yeah, i agree with you. Off topic but you realize how in chapter 1 episode 1, Charles was mean and stuff and Teruko was somewhat nice and now in chapter 2, episode 1, Charles is more quiet and Teruko is mean af
@@sleepdeprivedmaniac6969 I mean... i feel her man, i would be on the same position as her, she got betrayed by two people she trusted. But damn... i REALLY wanted to see her with Charles again, maybe as: "The only two who aren't optimistic".
Honestly, Teruko was totally in her right to reject Charles after how badly he treated her the first time they investigated. Since he wants to meet up with her, I have to believe that he actually got her secret, but something to note is that he was paying attention to her even before he got his secret.
God I can’t keep relating to Nico sm man.. I’m autistic and animals are one of my special interests. This shit makin me wild fr
31:22 Did anyone else laugh at the fact that this scene is hilarious!?
Yes
Yup

Bro I spit the water I was drinking when I saw that lmao 💀
I need more whit and Charles scenes
I also had in mind that Veronika might have ADHD.
BRO I ALSO THOUGHT THAT But at the same time I was also like "Wait am I forcing my own shit on him cuz I hope not"
I do the same rambling thing as Veronika but i dont have adhd lol
I too agree on both. They're both just like me frfr
Rest in peace in the relaxation room!
NICO HAKOBYAN AUTISM CHILD.

spotlight on Whit like what he deserves ✨
14:17 I know it’s a break from an overly nice protagonist. But… I am so lucky she can’t hear me cussing her out from behind this screen.
After watching this episode, I couldn't think about anything else but about how Niko is so autistic coded, I really felt so related to him, even if he's intended to be autistic or not (I don't really know) 😮👏
Whit looking stunning as always (he’s just like me fr)
NAWWW MONOTV FARTING ON TERUKO HAD ME DEAD 💀💀💀💀
1:15 the abuse of the elevator damn
# justice for the elevator 😔✊
The picture says already that it will be a good episode 😍🥰💕
I have a theory that Teruko is actually from alternate universe. There are at least two things that point to that:
1st: She's the only one who doesn't know who Julia Rosales it even though she's very famous (everyone else knew about her besides Teruko)
2nd: She mentioned the killing game during the conversation with Veronika but she had no idea what she was talking about and thought Teruko was referring to very high crime rate.
It's only a personal theory so don't take it for granted by the way.
Or instead of alternate universes... Alternate TIMELINES (Despair TIME)
Since she's the protagonist she's meant to be an audience self insert, how do you explain who Mariabella Rosales is without sounding awkward since everyone know her ? Simple, have the protagonist ignorant.
Yeah, she could be from another universe too, there's no reason it can't be both reasons.
“thats because i am going to perform surgery on your eyeballs” JEEZ????
Thoughts from this episode...
-The turf in the playground and relaxation room will be relevant to the murder, perhaps tracing the killer's steps or framing Nico
-If people got sweaty in the gym, would their sweaty bodies pick up turf? Is that why the fans are relevant?
-Will the resistance band Ace stole be relevant?
-Levi probably won't be the killer this chapter. If he was, it'd basically halt Ace's chance of any character progression by proving him right to be hateful and volatile
-They know the tragedy happened, but possibly not the events or the killing school life? Was history covered up, or is this connected to their amnesia?
-The dress-up room provides a chance to craft disguises, if you have experience in theater tech or acting...
31:22 *Angry Kiyotaka noises were hear in the background*
good god the monoTV chasing teruko scene was HYSTERICAL, the VAs killed it
Veronika at playground - I died xD xD xD xD
I love Veronika's little history lesson in this episode. The effects of the Tragedy on media and popular culture is such a cool world building detail. That kind of thing is super interesting but also not something that often gets explored in world building. The detail of Veronika's outfit having the same "mono" design with red accents, something associated with horror in this world, is such a nice touch.
I wonder if Veronika's hairstyle being similar to Junko's has a similar reasoning. Perhaps that hairstyle became so married to Junko's image that most people stopped wearing their hair like that because of the uncomfortable association and the only time you'd see that style would be in media that's specifically invoking the Tragedy.
oh he is absolutely gonna devour this episode fr!!!
Veronika's design features white and black to reference the "Mono" fear symbolism, thats cool
The production just keeps getting better. Looking forward to future episodes!
Also am really curious if shes Predicting if Ace might be the next victim cuz the way Teruko describe and personality to the T its very likely he could be but anyway Another Good episode love the cute animations too.
Right?
Veronika and Nico should talk to one another. That would also be interesting 😄✌🏻
Veronika playing in the playground gives me joy 💖

THE ANIMATION WITH THE ELEVATOR
AWESOME
Relaxation room, definitely don’t see someone dying in here
Or the playground
Charles and Arturo. This is all I pray for
is your type "lab coats and gloves"
veronika is such a mood
Something bad is definitely going to happen to those minnows... Maybe a body will be swimming with the fishes.
On a side note, it's a bit weird that Teruko knows of a killing game, while it seems like the others don't, but maybe her knowledge was the reason she was targeted in the first round.
I LOVE NICO WITH A PASSION IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HIM I WILL START A RIOT.
I haven't even watched 2 seconds of this but WHIT I LOVE YOU

I love all these characters, this episode is so cute...,. kinda
28:17 Wait, nearly A CENTURY?! How interesting that monokuma gave mono a bad name for generations.
Yeah, in case you missed it the backstory of the setting was explained in the first "visiting graves" video.
@@11th-lemon Yeah, I saw that
What I think about this episode is Charles has Teruko's secret. That's maybe the reason he wants to talk to her.
6:43 this is a very good reason as to why Teruko thinks the way she does. Why she snapped at the first trial, why she’s so untrusting. It’s because of her status as a lucky student. 😢
Nah the sign in the park sayin “we ran out of Sand” n the on in the gym took me out 😂😂 also the chase scene 😂😂😂😂😂
For someone like teruko to just wanting to investigate she isnt very good at it, like she joins every conversation she is in and literally she herself says that she doesnt have the time to talk with anybody but she stills talks to everybody, my god teruko is confusing
Okay so quick theory (I am commenting this at the time this video was uploaded so there are no spoilers for any future videos past this one)
with all the information given about the relaxation room-ie. the sticky turf and all that-there’s no way a murder isn’t going to at least partially happen there, and Nico volunteering to feed the fishes every day makes a very vulnerable target for a murder…
I see the turf being a point that frames Nico. Like, someone points out turf at the crime scene was taken from the relaxation room and therefore it must be Nico, but we learn it actually came from the playground, proving them innocent
Guys based on the 1st trial I think this fangame is based on Drv3 so:
1st Chapter: in Drv3 died a companion and someone who knew more than the others ( Kaede and Rantaro )
And in DRDT died a companion who knew more than the others ( Xander )
2nd Chapter: in Drv3 died the shortest character and the mom of the group ( Ryoma and Kirumi )
And based on that the shortest character in DRDT is Eden and the mom of the group is Hu
I’d actually like to point out that DRDT could also be based off of DR1:
*SPOILERS FOR DRDT [+BACKSTORY VIDEOS] and DR1*
Chapter 1:
-Both protags happen to be Ultimate Lucky Students
-The motive for this chapter was the videos of their loved ones, which also happened in DR1; The only change was, well… we never actually got to *see* the videos in DRDT
-The main characters (Makoto, Teruko) were betrayed by the “best friends” (Sayaka, Xander)
-The blackends (Leon, Min) are people who did not have any intentions to kill, and only did it as an act of self defence; Both of them also have very.. questionable ways of defending themselves (Leon could’ve left Sayaka alone after she fled to the bathroom, and Min should’ve known that electricity and water *of all things* do not go together, seeing as she’s a literal learning prodigy, but then again: it was in the heat of the moment)
-Also, both Leon and Min had conflicted feelings towards their talents; Leon had actually wanted to be a rockstar, and Min didn’t even want to be the Ultimate Student: she only did it to help support her family
-The cast turns against both Makoto and Teruko in their respective games during the trial
-And lastly, the killers had tried to incriminate the protagonists; it could be argued that Min was more intentional with it, as she had *directly* incriminated Teruko (by placing the knife in her hand and positioning her to where it looked like she and Xander had fought)
Chapter 2 [Episode 1]:
-The motive is now secrets, which was the same motive for DR1 again; The only difference this time was that the secrets were mixed up amongst the cast
-This might be a *bit* of a stretch, but just a little something else: Someone else has revealed the secret of another to the main cast - Byakuya had revealed Toko’s secret (and used it against her), and Arturo had revealed J’s… most likely not out of malice, though
And that’s as much as I could think of for now, but there might be more. Also, it could be said that DRDT takes inspiration from all three of the main games- I just found more in common with DR1 and DRDT, especially since DRDT apparently takes place in the same universe as DR1.
That concludes my silly little analysis, and sorry if this was too long- I wanted to express the similarities between the DRDT and DR1, but found myself writing a bit too much- I still hope this made sense though, since it’s been eating away at me for some time now :’)
Also, feel free to reply or correct me!
@@i_stole_ur_chicken7466 Don't say "sorry", you are making me feel like a monster!
Nah, but in al seriousness... i know you didn't mean it like that, dont worry about it!
@@i_stole_ur_chicken7466 ok, now you're really scaring me that J's gonna be the victim and Arei the killer as there'd be a parallel with chihiro and mondo. Arei is jealous of the fact that J has a famous family who pampers her with girly things while J hates it so much. Maybe there's a disagreement with the two which causes Arei to snap with rage and regret it.

Wow i love all of the new rooms so much! They look very interesting and i think that relaxation room is the best to commit murder. You can drown someone here and i hope it won't be Nico since he offered to take care of the fish. Also i'm wondering what happened to Teruko and how she got that big scar. It looks like she escaped from a burning house. And the Monokuma thing was really strange because Teruko said something about "last killing game" does that mean that this killing game is in the same world as trigger happy havoc or V3? I don't think so, because i think that Teruko might have been a participant in this "last killing game". I can't wait to see another episode!
