I Have alot to thank Still Game for,when my wife was in hospital,undergoing a serious operation,i could not sleep,i was in turmoil,worried sick,i spent the first night away from my wife,up all night crying,on the second night,after my wife`s operation,still worrying and upset,my son put on a dvd for us to watch,it was a series called Still Game,i have never laughed so much in my life,the tears were hurting my eyes,my stomach had cramps,Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill fantastic writers,and the carricters they created,isa,tam,winston,bobby,the list is endless,one of my all time fave endings to one episode is,and it still has me cracked up is,when jack,victor and winston sing The Ballad Of Mrs Begg.
We just found it on Netflix and it’s brilliant every character is genius. When is it on the BBC?... in this age of reality tv, it’s a good show that all can watch and have a good laugh 😂
The ending of this show, and the last scene of the last ever episode affected me like no other show ending has. It was literally like saying goodbye to a family member.
Still Game is without a doubt the best BBC Comedy ive ever seen. I only got told about it by my Scottish friends and im amazed this was not broadcast enough in England. Such great writing and acting leaves a warm feeling in your heart every time you watch them. The "courtin" episode nearly killed me from laughing. I would love there to be another series.

I have watched the series at least 20 times, sometimes finishing and starting with episode 1 immediately after. My Mom, well into her 90s and who left Scotland in 1953, loved the show. She had Alzheimer’s so every episode was fresh to her and it was a joy to see her laughing at the antics.

The part where Winston fast forwards Isa to get to the punchline is comic genius ... Every character in all of the episodes plays their part so beautifully which makes the show flow ... A real comedy classic
My wife and I fell in love with this show only 4 years ago, and we have enjoyed every episode many, many times, and still do. Our granddaughter was an LDS missionary in Glasglow.. We live in northeast Tennesseee, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. I am a direct descendant of King James I & VI, my 14th GGF, but have never visited Scotland, but I would love to do so soon... Thanks for the show.

(Took a while to learn the accents, rewatching and looking up words on google.). Bought a PAL dvd player and ordered all seasons off of Amazon Uk. This was over a decade ago. So thanks to FnG from Kentucky USA! My favorite show of all time! I also have Chewing the Fat and a Dear Green Place. Forever a fan!

I’m an American with a Scottish ancestry. My grandmother left Paisley when she was 7. My great-grandparents were lovely people and I miss them dearly. I’ve watched the entire show over and over again. I’m still watching it every night before bed. Classic comedy has withered away, yet Ford and Greg are the REAL DEAL of this/our generation!

I'm sure this Brit expat in the States has watched many Scottish programmes; I recently did a Netflix binge of Still Game.. we've only the seven series here so far. To me it's the best Scottish comedy of all time. It's practically perfect and I can't wait for the two seasons you lot have seen that I'm on edge waiting to savour them. I love this programme; it's characters, the comradery, laughter, warmth, caring, etc. We just have to knowttheres folks like them in the world in just about every country, city and town. Though, sadly I believe more and more we know less of the community we live in and lose so much because we don't engage with one another as we once did. If this is representative of Scotland, it ROCKS!

I've been living in Scotland for almost a year now, one of my Scottish colleagues told me about the show. I must admit I couldn't understand a word for the first few episodes but that was whole point of me watching it (to get a grip over the local accent). The show is smashing.

I have watched Still Game on a loop over and over again, but I cannot watch the final scenes. They are done so well and represent loved ones leaving our lives, it is too heart breaking to watch. The most magnificent comedy show I have ever set eyes on. The acting is the best, from the stars to the extras, incredible talent. If they were to do an episode today they wouldnt need so much make up....but unfortunately that cannot happen as they have all passed on except for Bobby!

I’m watching this show from Hungary, over and over. So bloody funny it’s amazing. Tam had a child and the look on his face was so funny but it changed so quickly when realized he can make a few quids out of it. Still Game, I still hope once they continue!!

I'm English and love this show, I caught it only recently as I live out of the UK. I have to disagree with Alex Norton when he said they are like Laurel and Hardy, Morcambe and Wise, they are nothing like these traditional double acts where one is the straight man and the other is the comic. Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill are both comics and both caustic in their characters , they invented a new model of comedy partnerships.
My wife and I have just finished the last series. Definitely up there with the greatest programmes created. One of the funniest, but quite probably the most charming. And I definitely agree with Lorraine Kelly that the sense of community is one of the factors that makes it such an endearing bit of telly. I definitely had teary eyes at the end. But we've now found the Chewing the Fat episodes here, so we can extend the joy for a little while longer.
Hands down the best episode was victors date with edith ive never laughed so hard in my life i was on the floor for laughing it was so funny . love still game brilliant show
Funniest Show Ever! I’ve never laughed so hard at a TV show. It’s part therapy for me too because it reminds me of my Irish da who died five years ago, and who had an identical sense of humor before Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s erased him. A million thanks to all involved in creating this masterpiece, and giving my dad back to me a wee bit.

Winston was always my favourite character. The scene where he is yelling at a bunch of thugs before he looks back and his bus leaves is fantastic!

I've been living in Scotland for almost a year now, one of my Scottish colleagues told me about the show. I must admit I couldn't understand a word for the first few episodes but that was whole point of me watching it (to get a grip over the local accent). The show is smashing.

From America: What American Comedy lacks this show has or rather had. What a shame it appears to be over. ALL of the characters are REAL and charming.... Everyone knows these personalities.... I appeal to those that created this series to either continue this wonderful TV comedy or perhaps even, dare I say, make a movie out of it. Again, I am American & I know that this series has won me over. PS: If I could get an autograph picture of the cast or Winston, that would truly be wonderful.
I have watched Still Game on a loop over and over again, but I cannot watch the final scenes. They are done so well and represent loved ones leaving our lives, it is too heart breaking to watch. The most magnificent comedy show I have ever set eyes on. The acting is the best, from the stars to the extras, incredible talent. If they were to do an episode today they wouldnt need so much make up....but unfortunately that cannot happen as they have all passed on except for Bobby!
I love this, I'm English but the genius comedy transfers, also seeing the actors out of make up is amazing, Tam, Winstone, Isa & Victors blind date lol.
I'll bet they would work just as well if they were set in the Midlands or London, Ireland even. It's just absolutely class comedy.
Its 2022 and I am still loving this show.

I’m watching this show from Hungary, over and over. So bloody funny it’s amazing. Tam had a child and the look on his face was so funny but it changed so quickly when realized he can make a few quids out of it. Still Game, I still hope once they continue!!
Funny as f! The Asian shop keepers are brilliant! Methadone Mick sublime. Love this show. What's good is that ALL the characters have funny lines not just the main ones. Watched from the beginning after Chewin the Fat.

I love this I'm English and this is just the best all the emotions over the years you kinda get into the characters and plots it's just magic oh yeh the pots of piss laughed for days also shed a tear when I just realised I'd watched the last one the way they were just faded away one at a time and just boarby left fabulous from David East Anglia

61 year old gent from USA here. STILL GAME is easily one of the funniest, most poignant shows ever performed and written. I am fast approaching the final episode and am afraid to watch it. Thanks to the creators for making me laugh and cry, those wee bastards!

I'm English and love this show, I caught it only recently as I live out of the UK. I have to disagree with Alex Norton when he said they are like Laurel and Hardy, Morcambe and Wise, they are nothing like these traditional double acts where one is the straight man and the other is the comic. Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill are both comics and both caustic in their characters , they invented a new model of comedy partnerships.
I dont think he meant there like those double but just as big and just as funny
not as funny as laurel and hardy
One of my favourite shows of all time, absolutely classic
My wife and I have just finished the last series. Definitely up there with the greatest programmes created. One of the funniest, but quite probably the most charming. And I definitely agree with Lorraine Kelly that the sense of community is one of the factors that makes it such an endearing bit of telly. I definitely had teary eyes at the end. But we've now found the Chewing the Fat episodes here, so we can extend the joy for a little while longer.

Funniest Show Ever! I’ve never laughed so hard at a TV show. It’s part therapy for me too because it reminds me of my Irish da who died five years ago, and who had an identical sense of humor before Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s erased him. A million thanks to all involved in creating this masterpiece, and giving my dad back to me a wee bit.

Still game, started watching this Jan 2020, best comedy we've seen, never laughed so hard since I was a kid😂, was gutted when the last episode from series 9 was the last😔, still get a fix from watching chewing the fat👍, if you haven't watch still game yet then your life isn't complete 😀
