The first time I heard about taking the stock out of your shoulder coming from the conventional Marines was when we started MOUT and had to address going through doorways with A4s; 20" barrel, x4 ACOG, and fixed stock. The idea was to get that stock into your shoulder as soon as you got through, and that was the only time the stock wasn't in your shoulder. We also weren't issued pistols.

And........ If there is live "discussion" it is just an echo chamber. One thing is for certain, everyone's experience counts for something, but if you are unwilling to discuss the hows and whys of your preferred choices (presumably based on experience) then that is a problem. I learned early that if your "hero" can't justify and explain the hows and whys....that hero is really a zero and a "McInstructor".

CAG is the premier CQB unit o. The planet. If they aren't using a technique, I'd imagine there is a reason
