This show highlights NE during their post “One Love” era; and as you can see they are well seasoned performers! ALL SIX!!! Highlights of this rare TV special include an extremely rare performance of “A Little Bit Of Love” which may be the first performance of this gem since 1986 (20 years prior), Ralph’s sizzling rendition of his smooth classic single “Sensitivity,” Johnny Gill’s seductive rendition of “My, My, My,” Bobby’s raucous rendition of “My Prerogative,” which he TOTALLY embodied during this performance and many, many more! It’s non-stop wall to wall hits from start to finish! Highlights also include celebrity appearances by Anthony Anderson, Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, Cedric The Entertainer, Arsenio Hall, Elise Neal and more!

Saw this tour in LA..it was amazing...I am a NE lifer...the last time I saw them all together was when they got their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame..and the crowd sang Can You Stand The Rain while it rained...I need just one more tour...😢

I’m watching this video in 2024🎉Nearly 20 years after it was recorded. They are celebrating 40 years and have a residency in las Vegas. They still sound, look and move fantastic. Saw them in 1986 when I was 16. I’m 53 now. NE for life❤
I have so much respect for Rizzo (Ralph), He does not get a break from singing! Bobby and JG did get a break, however Rizzo lead and sang on every song, he deserves more recognition than he gets!!!
He’s the absolute best. The consummate showman and gentleman. Whether it’s 1985 or 2020, he’s always the classiest guy onstage.

You can tell that Ralph and Johnny became very good friends over the years. It's evident in this video, because Ralph is the one that kept egging Johnny on to show out and also in the way the two of them embraced at the end. Johnny is way too extra at times, but there's no denying his talent. I guess after 33 years, they're all use to it by now. 😂 Bobby looked happy to be reunited with his N.E. brothers. For the most part, they all appeared to be in very good shape, energetic and full of stamina. It takes a lot to perform for 1 1/2 hours straight, even for a 20 year old. And Ralph sure kept his voice and those abs in good condition. 😁 I still wish I had seen this when it first aired. 👍

Having been born in 1972, raised in the Bronx, in a housing project, I had the pleasure of enjoying Motown, the Philly Sound, Disco, the beginnings of Hip Hop. My favorite groups were the O'Jays, Jackson 5ive, Temptations, The Sylvers, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, but in 1983 I was introduced to New Edition, my generations Temptations, and my all-time favorite R&B group. NEW EDITION is still the Shit.
New Edition is one of my ultimate favorite group of ALL time. I am the same age as Johnny Gill and I love them all. They are my generation Temptations. New Edition is a class act and ALWAYS will be! #NEFANFORLIFE!

Did you notice something else about this audience.. Man I can’t stress this enough.. They actually KNEW the If it isn’t Love song.. Not once did any of them do that irritating, unnecessary Uhohoooooo after the first damn verse or any verse.. plus Ralph didn’t have to try and sing over it.. as usual. Talk about a rare performance!!! It was a sweet gem to hear them perform it 30 years later!

As adults they never really perform any songs from the post/Bobby/pre-Johnny era. “Count Me Out” is usually the one they do, but I’d love to see With “You All The Way” and “Hey There Lonely Girl” live as well.

Once again you off to a great start in 2020. Remember having this dvd when i used to network with NE Fan Club back in those times and one of them was kind of enough to make me copy. Some of those apart of NE Fan Club attended that show in 2006 and the special was supposed to be on BET. I read from the message board of the NE Fan Club that there were some songs cut out of the special plus Bobby also performed Roni at that show. Whatever reason it didn't work out between New Edition and BET network but they chose to sell the dvd's at their concerts. During that time, i was preoccupied with college and finding a job (Found work with AutoZone and still with them) and wasn't able to do concerts for awhile. This show has all six members in attendance. Also Bobby was somewhat in shape and able to do the dance moves (a little winded on the vocals) for the songs he participated in onstage. Definitely rare performance of 'A Little Bit Of Love'. Yep, their cardio had to be on POINT. And it shows, just look at the shape they were in! Ralph particularly looked stronger than EVER! The physicality of their shows cannot be understated. I’d get tired after one routine lol!
