After watching Cheer Season 2, you could tell which team was going to win from the beginning. NOT based off skill, but one team started as a family and ended as one. The other started off as individuals who let their name get to them. You could definitely see the divide on the show🤷🏾♂️
Exactly also the fact that Monica had not focused on the rookies the first semester because she was doing other things while leaving a first time assistant in charge was such a bad decision

Navarro lost because they got a .75 deduction on day 2 which counted for 75% of the total score. TVCC won by .15 that’s such a small margin. If Navarro hadn’t received a deduction on day 2, they would have won but, overall, I do think TVCC’s routine was cleaner and easier to follow. It looked more symmetrical whereas Navarro has a lot going on and it’s impressive but hard to follow. When watching Navarro’s routine I had to keep looking all around the mat to keep up. It made it difficult to focus on the overall performance. It looked messy. When I look at TVCC I feel like I am able to see everything occurring at once. I am able to see the overall stunting as well as the individual tumbling.
Watched both performances twice and TVCC definitely had the better routine. Way more cleaner, exciting and better tumbling/stunts! Well deserved win! Also, can we talk about Dee?! He definitely came out for redemption that day!
TVCC really showed the good side of Cheer in season 2. I am SO proud of them and the great team they formed. Navarro, I just miss the old girls and Ladarius.. 💔 You we’re not the same this season!
Unpopular opinion perhaps but I liked Netflix edit of it. After Dee face slow mo and the launching into “off with their heads” … brilliant. We can come here for the whole routine. But Netflix editing adds an element of .. *chefs kiss*. But loved seeing it here for sure!
Wow, to have that much energy at the end of the routine is crazy. I absolutely loved it, the deserve it! You can feel their energy even through the screen. Amazing and congrats!
I was nervous because I thought they should practice more. But they looked great! I loved how sharp the performance was. (Not too all over the place) display the skills!! And the tumbling was a 10/10. Keep practicing and give it a 100% and they will crush it next year as well
Everything is elevated compared to the other routine. Visuals thru the whole routine, tumbling, choreography, baskets, intensity, uniforms, and even music. It was beautiful to watch!!! Go cards!!!❤️ They had me crying every second because I have always been on the underdog team heck I lost NCA by .01 I get the heart break so it felt like I won with them!
Navarro had tons of technically skilled athletes and their stunts were more visually complex, but the FLOW of this routine was insane! They don’t have to prove what they’re doing is hard, they make it look so easy! And they worked together to create an image rather than just showing off skill and sass. I hope Navarro grows from this experience bc if they bring what TVCC brought, these two schools are gonna be pushed to be the best ever!

I watched both two times, going back and forth, to see who I felt did best … and truly both teams had phenomenal choreography, tumbling, stunts and performance but TVCC really overall did better. You can’t have a major fall on day 2 and expect to win.

well deserved win! no disrespect but Nivarro had way too much going on, their routine was chaotic but TVCC was more like organised chaos and easily digestable to watch. Looking forward to seeing them both again next year 💯
My fave cheer team 😍 I feel like the difference between em, is that after season 1. The fame sorta got to navarro, where as trinity v. were relying on pure determination and rawness.
Love that trinity won I would love for them to have more time on the next season. Their coach is freaking amazing and I enjoyed the fact that they were there to cheer and win. While Navarro seemed more worried about talk shows and all that which is understandable but shouldn't overshadow the point of the show which is seeing these athletes go hard for the win and the team comradery that comes with that much work and heart put into the sport.
TVCC seemed to second-guess themselves when it comes to performance, as in giving attitude and face. But honestly ? The girls serve MUCH more than Navarro’s. Tbh only Jade was a good performer there but here? All of them are insanely good ? That blondie-redhead duo ? DAMN.

Oh I love that face Dee gave after his tumbling, he’s a beast no doubt!! Congrats to them! But I’m still a Navarro fan prob because I’m more attached to them after season one, I love Monica’s coaching approach, the bonds between members, and mostly how they never mentioned or compared themselves to Trinity and just focused on bettering themselves. I get that tensions are high in competitions but I just personally don’t agree with the aggressiveness and hatred, it just comes off as sour and rude, like come on where’s the sportsmanship?? Yelling F the judges/ F Navarro was just not it.
Another major reason TVCC defeated Navarro (besides the Gill's fault) that hasn't been mentioned yet is that they hired Navarro's previous choreographer and has a result TVCC's routine had a more emphatic narrative than Navarro's choreography, as built up to and concluded with Dee's emphatic gesture at the end, while Navarro's ending was just kind of muddled. Compare Navarros's 2019 and 2021 routines and the drop in choreography will become clear. The apprentice clearly isn't as good as the master.
Totally deserved win, they looked much more collaborative than Navarro, they performed more as one unit. Navarro seemed fractured and they had lost a good handful of their strongest key performers. Monica in hindsight really should have stuck around to coach with so many new additions
