Wow, what a fantastic and perfect film of our Super Connie. The aircraft is still undergoing major restauration, and we all hope she might fly again in 2019. Many parts have to be constructed from scratch as there are absolutely no spare parts available, like the flap tracks, the brakes, the wheels etc. (I am a member of the Super Constellation Flyers Association,. "SFCA")
Any idea when she'll be able to go to Oshkosh? I say when, and not if, because it's as certain as Fate that this legendary bird visit Oshkosh. I can feel it in my aluminum bones!😆
Flew on the Connies in the 60s. They were great. Magnificent aircraft and so is this one. Notice the crowd in the background. They always do no matter where it's at. I'm glad I was able to enjoy in person one of histories great airliners.

Beatifull airplanes. The super was able to fly only with two engines with almost full payload. I did it once and it had time to go to nearest airport and land safety, The DC 3 was a mule. All terrains 4 x4 . Good day Bogota, Colombia
Well made video. The landings were a bit lively to say at least, with that crosswind. I've visited this bird once in the UK and had a nice chat with one of the pilots, they are a great bunch of guys keeping this legend allive, are very motivated and enjoy doing this.
Thanks very much, Michael, this is a real masterpiece video showing our Super Connie, which is still undergoing repairs at Zurich. Also, the occasional other great oldie planes, and we can also see how pilots had to really work hard with that crosswind. I am a member of the SCFA (Super Constellation Flyers Association) and so far have been on one flight with this great historical aircraft. And we still need more funds to eventually get it flying again :^) Herb & thebirds

Seriously - 6 said yuck! I guess there are crab apples everywhere. I've seen many aviation videos and this one is top five. Positively wonderful. Wish this quality was with the DC7 and B29 videos. I'd pay for that!!

I flew on a Connie in the sixties myself, don't remember though............I was only 7 weeks old!

I would definitely exchange a two-hour Ryan Air flight, to fly 5 hours in this and even pay 5 times more for the ticket.
