I'm not sure they did...and you are right about traction. In addition to those agressive tires, which are filled with anti-freeze, he's got all those weights, and it's still a bit slick. The weights also help balance the tractor when he's running his bucket loader.
Man that is a nice looking Machinne, Wished you would show the front and rear hydraulic working . I have a Sears FF-18 with a 3 point in back, Now i seeing these have ( or can have ) a 3 point in the front. I need to keep an eye out for one.
I own a GT18. Pretty awesome piece of equipment. Mine's got only 405 hours. It's the exact same as that one but with the magnum 18, which interestingly, is a more torquey engine due to a shorter stroke. I can push snow, plow, excavate etc. with the engine set just a little above idle speed.
Just like mine but mines a 97 model grand Sierra 2200 it had blade tilter a disk and plow attachments havnt had it very long but it's built better than any mower IV owned
@cumminsturbofan101 If you like that tractor you would have loved the Sperry Rand New Holland. They are almost Identical Arians bought New holland in the mid to late 70's. The New hollands are a 2 tone army type green with a little bit of yellow, the bodys are the same excpet the back fenders. My dad has a 1970 S-14 and its one hell of a tractor. Fully functional has a 54in blade and a 48in mower I have not seen any vids of one hear on you tube I'd like to do a walk around demo of my dads peace
need some info on what type of engine oil do i use for it to work the hydrolic front and rear lift- can you let me know i have the exact same mower as your grandfather
Ariens a true rock solid investment of American integrity. I wouldn't ever hesitate to invest in an Ariens.
