Are there any health risks associated with cheek piercings?
No! But after removing permanently you will have scars.
I mean, you can get an infection or teeth damage. Or if you go to an incompetent piercer they may pierce through your parotid duct - a saliva gland. That will cause saliva to leak out of your piercing holes. Damage to parotid duct is not fixable. So just make sure you go to a good piercer with a lot of experience in cheek piercings and you'll be fine. I have these piercings myself.
