I ended up having a stunning career in majority jazz in public and classical in schools where I now teach K-8 music. However, I temporarily thought I wasn't good enough to enter a premier school because of his phrasing, only to find out later, he was waiting for me to be in their jazz program and had shot himself in the foot by saying, "you would never make it in our classical program." As teachers, it *matters* the way you tell students what is and isn't realistic. You can redirect their attention without stomping on their current dreams. For example, "acting is one nice career choice when you grow up. That's a really cool option that you've thought of. Have you ever thought about **insert secondary idea here.** ? The Great thing about my students is that they can do just about anything positive and reasonable that they put their mind to, and I believe in you. I would love to see you stretch that mind of yours even more." (And if they don't know what any of the words you said mean, that would be a great time to teach them.) I really enjoyed this episode ! Both Nick and Arshauna are beautiful people inside and out, I loved how they connected and the fact that they share similar core values. I also really enjoyed the talk about men's mental health, I don't think it is talked enough and I was surprised (in a good way) to see how self aware Nick is. I loved the fact that he took the time and effort to come out of his depression by journaling and traveling, I don't think we see enough men that talk about how they got out of their depression, so it was nice to hear his insight.
I genuinely hope these two go on a date! Arshuana seems like such a sweetheart, she seems so beautiful inside and out and I could tell they already connected on a lot of things. @serene beauty ain't subjective. It has undinable trends, strong jaw, equal face proportions, Low fat. Etc... that all contribute to attractiveness. There's a reason especially in the male category, That all models look pretty similar. Now like you said, your right I don't have bad intentions. But there are plenty of people out there who face this stuff daily, (people that objectively arent so good looking) so talking about how she feels doesn't really matter, in my opinion. If she's confident, then she should just be confident.
Finally seeing one of these shows where everyone was sweet and wholesome. The dude was nice and very clear in choosing based on answers. He knows they all look good anyway lol. And all the girls were so genuinely kind ..respectful to him and each other.

This entire video was so wholesome and a pleasure to watch. Both the contestants and Nick were wonderful. It was so nice hearing questions with thoughtful answers and not cringing at purely physical and sexual pick-up lines. I hope the end couple actually ends up getting to know each other on a deeper level after this and if nothing else are good friends.
