Chef is such an underrated awesome movie. One of my new favorites in recent years. Favreau has a great sense of humor that just makes his characters sing. Super grateful for all of his Star Wars work!

He started in Improv. I was fortunate to get to see him ad lib in person on Spider-Man: Homecoming one of the days that I worked as his stand in. I laughed so hard and loud at one of his ad libs that I pissed off the Assistant Director and she said "Shhh!".
I was pondering on the meaning if the word "pretentious" recently. When you try to add meaning where it is barely there or not there at all; when you artificially attach value to a thing or say it is much more rare than it is....etc. whenever Jon speaks he seems like he is trying to be understated or more reserved than he really is. Has to be one of the most pretentious directors out there.
