The Lost Apothecary holds the most appeal for me, Ash, of the books you have recommended here. After thirty years of teaching senior academic English classes at the high school level, and grading thousands of students' novel studies, I have to confess that I very rarely read any sort of extended fictional narrative today. My taste in books runs to political science, cultural anthropology, and history, for the most part. I'm pleased to see men of any age reading anything, especially in this culture that offers so many other entertaining distractions.
The Slow Horses books by Mick Herron. Not having seen any of the TV adaptations with Gary Oldman, I can only recommend the books. Oddly addictive, and if you read the books in the order of writing, they will make more sense in the story arc.
Nice video Ash. I have some suggestions for books that you might like. Gentleman of Jazz : The life of Ramsey Lewis, How to be a gentleman by John Bridges, Blue Note cover art: volumes one and two, and Kingdom Man by Dr. Tony Evans.
I’ve been waiting intently for another one of your book reviews. Recently finishes some of the others you mentioned in the past. The Exchange,Silent Key, Jack Reacher,Moon Raker, etc. All great reads.😊
Good morning Ash. The last one sounded very interesting. Been reading through the Ian Fleming James Bond series an order in which he broke down. I have gotten through Goldfinger so far. Woodfield of the regulars about a medal of honor winner during World war I, and I married Wyatt Earp by his wife. And I also read a book called operation Disembroil how about a British officer who escaped the Nazis after Dunkirk and made his way back to England. Cheers Ron
I finished my last 2 books bad medicine graphic novel a collection of short horror stories which is kind of underwhelming in my opinion. The first book of Maus which is an interesting read to say the least. I been waiting to finish those 2 so i can start saving for a kindle. I am running out of space for paper books in my small space so am excited to earn a kindle 1 day.
Just finished The Rum Jungle in an afternoon - what a lovely book! Have you read any Bruce Chatwin? The Songlines is very good, but my favourite is On The Black Hill. May suit a Welsh gentleman.😊 Good luck, Ash.
None of those books are my cup of tea. Currently reading the biography of Leonardo da Vinci. To come the Underground Railroad(black americans seaking refuge in Canada during the US Civil war). I read very little fiction, mostly non-fiction.
When I want to read something interesting, I read my journal BTW Mr. Jones, posthumous publishing does require the death of the author; publishers are so demanding on this point.

Love the content Ash! Can you put together a video of your tie and pocket square collection? Please include organization and care for those items.

My pleasure
I am recommending a novel by my Yoga teacher “Journey To Sunyata” loosely based on her trip to Nepal. Interesting and entertaining, great summer read.

Thank you for the tip. I may give that one a spin.
Ash, have you read JM Rock’s book Death by Socialism?
Not yet.
