When he says "in that space" what he means is "what we mean when we say 'video game.'" He is saying that the meaning of "video game" will change just as dramatically in 30 years as it has from 1985 with Super Mario Bros. to 2013 with The Last of Us, and he anticipates that it will be so much more interactive and dramatic that it will shock gamers of today, just like The Last of Us would shock gamers of 1985.
lmao, I didn't realize his wife was the Ellie/Ashley stand-in the alternate ending. Also that Jennifer Lawrence comment --- oooh, he's looking for some hurtin. I'm neither a Hunger Games or Jennifer Lawrence fan, but she and Lenny Kravitz were the only two well-casted actors in the movies; she was completely unknown to me (as was most of the rest of the cast). Could be the script adaptation sucked too, but then again I never read the books, so I can't compare to source material.
