Hope you and your family are all well penny is so beautiful just like her mum and what a lovely smile she has can't believe she's four months already so enjoy all the cuddles you can with her as it just goes to fast doesn't it you are all such a lovely family 💖 xx
Hi!! Did you do anything to get her to sleep through the night? I have a 3 month old and I’m planning to return to work next month 😊 is Penny teething?
She started sleeping through at about 12 weeks I would say. I didn’t do anything in particular (sorry I know that probably sounds really unhelpful) she has kind of just fallen into this routine now so I try and stick to it as she seems to ask to go to bed around 7.30-8pm each evening (she gets really grumpy and rubs her eyes so I know she’s tired) what I did start to do was feed on demand when she wanted it and she would cluster feed in the evenings so she wouldn’t do her usual 3-4hour gaps between bottles she would go 2 hourly sometimes 1.5hours but I think she was doing it so she got her 5 bottles and then she was ok to sleep through. She does sleep with her dummy this is something my other two children didn’t have they never wanted a dummy and I found they were harder to sleep through than Penny is. I think she is we can see the little tooth bud under the gum but it hasn’t popped through just yet xx
One strange difference I have noticed between America and Europe is that here we always wash our babies after they pee or poop under the sink and never use wipes at home , only if we are somewhere out n about we use wipes . Even the doctors and nurses teach you this in the hospital after you give birth. I am curious why you use wipes at home ? it’s also an extra expense I guess.
Hello, its interesting isn't it to see how routines differ around the world. I only started using wipes on my little ones after they were a couple of months old, initally we used warm water and cotton wool. Then as they started getting bigger and the mess in the nappies changed we used wipes, we tend to only use the water sensitive wipes so they don't react with babies skin 😃
Thanks for replying! It is definitely interesting to see the differences yes. 🙌🏼 We also use the water wipes. Wish the best for you and your family!!🫶🏼
How does she sleep on her own? My 4 month old son always wants to be rocked into sleep. As soon as I put hin awake (but sleepy) in his bed, he starts to rub his eyes and start to cry😢
