    This is the first and only version of "Oh holy night" i've heard that sounded like a worship song.

    Morissette Amon is one of a kind, and not just in her rich, warm and deep vocal timbre that also remains present in her mix / dominant chest belts.
    other human singers in the world use the mix / dominant Head, because it is easier to perform technically (having an underdeveloped chest) and muscular, gives a more powerful, but leaner and thinner sound that can drop, easy in super slim and squeaky.
    even when he plays the belts, when the voice sighs, makes a riff, a run or something else, his diction is always perfect. even when, growl and vocal distortion, it does not oscillate and does not get lost and continues to say and pronounce perfect consonants and vowels.
    she is the only one in modern music today, that when she sings, she perfectly performs all the techniques that must be used for that performance.
    no yielding or lack or fatigue of voice even if he sings monstrous songs, voice always stable, full and powerful.
    check it out, Gusto ka nang bumitaw, his full band live performance, you will be shocked forever, in some places in the song he uses both chest / dominant mix, in some where the sound is more subtle (but still rounded), she uses the balanced 50% chest-50% head mix.
    you will understand why many consider it one of the greatest of all time and the greatest of today.
    his neutral larynx is a masterpiece, well positioned when he makes the belts, creates like a resonance chamber, between the larige
    and the pharynx, he just has to push all the air he wants with the abdominal walls and the diaphragm, to create the perfect sound, with the muscles of the neck and face, well relaxed.
    his mouth is perfectly open, that is, it creates a wider and more resonant sound space, as one should do in a singing school book, looking at the teeth, it is not only an aesthetic factor, but also a technical one, the teeth are used to increase resonance in the nasal cavities, but without the sound of the nose, as most singers in the world do, they control sohyang and Katrina, many times they sound nasal when looking for resonance in the nasal cavities.
    is more pronounced when playing the consonants N, M, D, T.
    if you use the nasal sound too much, it is also heard in many vowels.😫
    Morissette Amon is the complete package,
    it proves it in every performance.
    You can see from his technical perfection, which he sang for 12 years industrially in the Philippines and has an international superstar skill background, he breaks the screen with his sunny disposition. She has been touring the stages of the world for a long time, now accustomed to stress and her muscles have memory and are perfectly trained and relaxed.
    many do not know it but the singer is a true Olympic athlete and is a gold medalist Morissette.
    the more you watch his videos, the more you will understand that he is the complete package to beat today.
    I know, I've been following her for 7 years now I know what she can do and what she can't do.
    I'm certainly not a fan, with an adolescent crisis.
    when there is to criticize, critic, when there is to praise, I praise it, I do it with all the singers, including my favorites.
    Mariah, I have all the LPs and 45s, I have criticized her several times, especially when they discovered her lip sync in New York, on a famous program.
    dear T&E .thank you for your reaction.

      Hey, Bruno! Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🔥. Someone said that you had a background in the opera? In the good, old days (before microphones and speakers were invented), opera singers were required to have 1. great chest voice training, 2. great "open throat" technique, and 3. great "vocal compression" skills. From my evaluation, it seems that only Morissette is doing all three things to a high degree among the young vocalists in her class. Is there anyone else? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I would like to hear from another young singer who does these things as well as Morissette. Morissette's technical flaws are minor and easy to fix. Her voice is just so balanced. The only thing left to improve, in my opinion, is to stabilise the lower range of her voice (i.e. make the onsets of her low notes less breathy), and to lighten her chest voice more when accessing notes above G5. What do you think?

      @@JoeyAndamo sara james, she has a beautiful tone of voice and an extraordinary technique, including airway control, for her 14 years.
      auditioned recently on AGT.
      obviously he can't be better than miss amon, due to the difference in age, the technical background and, the extension, the experience accumulated doing concerts.
      however, it will have a great future sara james.
      I have a knack for finding great singers.😉

      @@brunodemarchi908 I just listened to Sarah James: th-cam.com/video/tvj9j0G4IMs/w-d-xo.html
      Amazing foundation. Reminds me of a young Morissette Amon. The voice quality is clean, free of bad habits which sets her up very well. Very clean, rich tone quality. Not nasal. No heavy reliance on twang to access high notes. Already great at softening her consonants to be contiguous with her vowels.

      Have you seen this 2022 performance by Morissette of "I Will Always Love You"? th-cam.com/video/S9oHaKncgKw/w-d-xo.html
      *You brought up the teeth.* The way she opens her mouth is 'text book', as you said, showing her teeth to get nasal resonance. Morissette rarely sings this song, but when she does, you'd hope that she sings more Whitney. It's always a treat because you get to enjoy the resonance of her upper low to middle range. It's the way she maximizes the resonating spaces of her vocal tract and mouth, plus a wonderful use of voice compression to give the appearance of power without any strain.

      @@brunodemarchi908 I think you will find Morissette was much more mature vocally at 14, she was way ahead of her time, now she's a seasoned pro at just 26yrs of age

  • @JoeyAndamo
    @JoeyAndamo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    No matter what the singer's natural tone is, their ability to maximize the resonating space within their vocal tract is what determines the level of warmth, clarity and richness of the harmonics/overtones that the singer can produce. Enter Morissette. The openness of her vocal pipes is arguably the best in her class, capable of producing warmer and richer harmonics all throughout her vocal registers. Even when she ascends up to her upper belting range, the harmonics of her voice maintains a velvety richness and warmth, with added brightness and clarity. It doesn't sound shrill or piercing. Proper "open throat" technique produces a prominent low formant which prevents the tone of the belts from sounding overly bright, thin or shrill.

    • @itschensplace
      @itschensplace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Its pretty crazy how she is able to maintain the fullness of the tone in the edges of the chest mix as you said in most singers it goes thin but not in hers

    • @JoeyAndamo
      @JoeyAndamo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@itschensplace That's her superpower, I guess. The openness and relaxedness of her vocal tract is top tier. Here's my favourite song of hers, entitled "Love You Still" (live version): th-cam.com/video/ioobItgYWYM/w-d-xo.html
      Just listen to belting at the end of the song. It's so rounded, even up to G5.
