@ZGT2009: The honk in the tunnel after Zalmplaat to Spijk City, is that something you do on purpose? Do you do it to scare off birds? I'm curious to know. :)
Yes. For this type of train (MG2/1). For the other type (SG3) we stop at the white diamond. In this video the train has 3 cars so we stop at the blue diamond with 3 in it (see for example Stadhuis). At some stations we always stop at the end of the platform. Then there is a diamond without a number ( example Beurs).
Really nice ride. Does the cab of the Metro unit pivot slightly as the unit enters a curve? I ask because I am assuming the camera position was fixed, but the view in the cab would change as the unit entered a left hand or right hand curve.
I think I’ve noticed that on the tram videos. I’ve also seen it on videos of other moving objects where the camera was on the moving object. I just assumed that was some weird camera thing.
This is an attention sound for the driver in combination with a stopsignal. When driving towards the stop point, the driver has to confirm this within 7 seconds, otherwise the train will stop automatically.
This guy went from making Tram Videos in Deen Haag to making Metro Videos in Rotterdam!
Amazing!
Keep up the work!
I just assumed he’d gotten a chance to set up a camera in somebody else’s train?
The driver of this vehicle has his own TH-cam channel that's listed in the description @@cdarting91
Interessant om te zien hoe de camerabeelden van de stations naar de metro worden gestreamd 👌🏻

Well well well, the Rotterdam metro on video as well 👍
Mooi video

This is on purpose….there is a sign (whistle board) and there we have to sound the horn.
Do you stop at the blue diamond sign?
Yes. For this type of train (MG2/1). For the other type (SG3) we stop at the white diamond. In this video the train has 3 cars so we stop at the blue diamond with 3 in it (see for example Stadhuis). That will be the effect of suspension and/or superelevation (one rail is placed higher than other rail in curves).
mooi
Dat stukje Slinge - Rhoon duurt altijd lang...
6 minuten. 🙂
What is the whining buzzing sound indicating?

10:57: What happened? Did @ZGT2009 break too hard?
No, he didn’t 😃 If you are referring to the buzzing sound: this is an attention sound in combination with a stopsignal.
@@ZGT2009 Ah! Interesting. Thanks for clarifying.
