Pastor Jack, my husband started a very comfortably paying job a week ago and realized that the owner is basically ripping off his wealthy customers. It’s all under the radar but clearly unethical. We discussed the situation and came to the point that he could not continue there if he desires to be true to God. Money is not worth the spiritual burden dredged up by complying with sin. I said to him, “give your boss the opportunity to turn away from what he is doing and operate honestly instead.” However, when my husband told him that he was not comfortable with dishonest gain, he (boss) only rationalized his tactics and implored my husband to stay on managing his business. So, he professionally resigned from this opportunity and came home. He would rather gain God’s favor than man’s. Anyway, I clicked on this teaching today and you basically said that we need to protect our faith from things that will murder it…like ignoring our conscious. God speaks to us and my husband said that when his new boss was rationalizing his tactics, he felt that every fiber in his body was screaming, “leave!” I thank God for you and how He speaks to His children. This message today was for my Godly Husband who is walking by faith!! I love him so much and I know God will take care of us!! ❤️💓❤️
You mentioned the word conscience it is actually our Heavenly Fathers Spirit speaking to us. Many do not recognize him!

I told my husband Thursday night that it was the sin of unbelief that kept most of the Hebrew people from entering the promised land. Then I found this sermon hours later where Pastor Hibbs expounded on this subject. Can't wait for my husband who is a new believer to watch this sermon to help him grow his faith in God.

Speaking of spending more time in the WORD! I listen to KJV audio when I'm falling asleep at night. If I wake up for whatever reason, if I can't drop tight back off I listen some more. Since doing this I've developed some demanding needs to dive into Galatians, Ephesians, Hebrews, Roman's, portions of Matthew, (other parts of the 4), and now Acts. I'm amazed at what God is doing in me! Answering some thorny questions in comments on media sites and gently correcting by speaking the truth in love. I NEVER could have done the things that God is leading to and through! Thank you Lord Jesus!

If I got on my knees to pray, I could not focus on praying because my mind would be on the intense pain in my knees and the fact I could not get back up off my knees lol. I will pray all the time, no matter what position I am in.
The Lord receives them all. I popped and tore both knees on the knots of a woven rug while praying for my father's life after terminal dx. I knew my knees weren't strong. The pain grew more intense. I did not care. I heard them pop. Neither God nor my father would've wanted my will to push that far. Lesson learned. Health to you.🙇🏼♀️
I know what you mean. I wish, when I was able to, that I had prayed on my knees. After back surgery, I just can’t. But, I think God understands and hears our prayers no matter what position we’re in. God bless you and Pastor Jack.

I live in Oklahoma, they live in Chino Hills, in fact you are my other brother and Sister n Laws neighbor. You are a great Pastor/Teacher. You know, I go to a Church here in Del City, Ok. called Destiny. Pastor Lawrence Niessant. He has us do the read the page challenge. Every day we read a page, jot down things going on that day, (journal) and eventually we have read the whole Bible, our Spirit man is fed, we have a journal that we can pass down to our kids later in life. It is very cool. Even if we read something that we don't understand or is boring we are still feeding the Word to ourselves. Thank you

Sometimes I don't have an answer and once I have completed the research, my faith ends up being added to.
They will come with numerous "God of the OT" type rebuttals, so when you have researched their false claims, it will do YOU good.

For anyone doubting the Lord's imminent return consider this- the introduction of computers, internet, cell phones, social media while placing all of human knowledge at everyone's fingertips has already caused a marked change in human behavior and the way people think, (not to mention suppressing wisdom), similar to how the introduction of calculators enabled people to never learn skills necessary for arithmetic. Who doubts the existence of AI's analyzing that entirely of human knowledge (along with behavior) in an attempt to manage EVERYTHING including free will and anyone waking up will be deemed defective. Deplorable anyone? If God wanted a planet of automatons, he'd have created us without free will. While humanity creates their own version of the Matrix'with many eagerly running to plug in, the signs of the Lord's return continue to be on full display for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. Let me say there was one guy in the back of the class doing a locker ' sexuality 'and another guy ordered to laugh at him to continue to do so. Anyone one who looked at them or fleel asleep were ordered to join them.

How do we hear the Holy Spirit? I pray a lot, but don’t feel that I receive a response. I’m seeking the Lord with my heart, but feel that my prayers are monologue & not a dialogue.
