i knew since beatbout uses a lot of avatara, ikki would be the king of this game mode.
since in point war the investment is much harder to keep him alive.
BB/KO covers the weakness of Mavis as well since everything is on Auto. He just rolls 95% of comps in BB/KO. I went from top 1-3% to top 30 because of Ikki 😂😂
I actually beat you with Gaius comp hewhew. But it's comp dependent. Some Ikki + Mavis comps are too tanky.
Yea gaius can counter him pretty well especially with XP. Gaius kills mavis off first before killing him so he just ends up dying without going to the graveless state.
Maybe gaius making a huge comeback in KO/BB soon 🤔🤔
@RYUJINCAPPER I used toland to get mavis out of the way first but then it's very hard to replicate when you have to have rng by your side to dispel-taunt the supports. Wish I had xp too to make the damage output that much more reliable.
I'm hoping you smart/creative people can come up with some niche PvE use for him like with how Toland has a couple uses now
So far he has almost 0 use in pve. Maybe in event trials where the enemies have insane speed, he could be used there.
With how pve functions, which you are getting more turns than the enemies, he is basically useless
His animation is super awesome
i dont even have one good team how tf does this game expect me to put 2 WHOLE ass teams?? i was already struggling keeping up at pw23 and this shit gets changed ffs
They really need to give more strongstones. Even when i use Nexus crystals to refresh club Boss 30/30 times TWICE, i barely got enough to max out my ikki.
Crazy thing is i only leveled up 3 shimmer esper so far. Cecilia (maxed), Ikki (maxed) and tevor (lvl 13 or something). Its ridiculous how they gatekeep this resource out of all the resource
@@RYUJINCAPPER i only have unas nuxi and anna leveled so far even tho i always pick shimmer stringstones from the lootboxes and sentinel drops 😭then i leveled some flow espers i needed but forgot to level ollie so i dont have a second speed lead, basically cant match against most teams rn... im really considering just dropping beatbout as a whole since i cant gets any wins rn
Started following ya recently and getting back into the game. Your videos feel really nice to watch. Got to shimmer reverb redeem point but I'm thinking between Anna and JJ since im building that JQ(already got R3) mavis team. Still leaning into anna i feel but wanted to make sure. Also time to save for Ikki haha. I kinda gave up on speed teams

M8 I finally Maxed out my Reverb and now it looks like Anna's Kinda Dead to Ikki. I already have all shimmers but Toland, Anna and Nuxi (and Raven), and I'm really on the fence about Anna vs Toland... Any tips?
Pulled for Ikki but I lost my 50/50 to R1 JJ 😭😭😭
Id still go for anna. She slots in EVERY team while Toland only works in speed. Also Anna without specific counters is still pretty much 100% win. Toland can still lose against other speed teams even if you outspeed (Tiye counter attacking and steals the turn)
I also use Anna in DSL team 3 which gets about 8-10 million score. But outside of that, she doesnt have much use in pve.

Mavis cant be revived so Cecilia will only revive Ikki. This can work but you need Ikki to cast his s3 after being revived to regain Envious moon and also get 12 stacks to gain his revive back. Usually he wont be able to reach 12 stacks before dying again

I dont get why they feel the need to make new shimmers uncounterable. Triki is pretty much the only esper that petrifies yet we have 2 new shimmer esper to completely ignore petrification.
Triki is already so niche and the only purpose he has which is to counter cleansing is made useless 😂😂

Archibald is a good one to make Mavis tankier. Lian is also good to make sure Mavis doesnt die as easily.
Another one is XP. She will be the fastest in the team so if you get matched against Toland, he will target XP. But if youre not going against toland, XP will MEGA BOOST Ikki and his passive will be the busted beyond belief
No one's surprised he's busted. I waiting to see if dislyte comes out with a nerf in the week, if they don't it's crazy.

You can run something else in his place. Archibald is good to make Mavis tankier.
Sometimes my mavis ends up dying even without the Intimidate buff on her so r2 JQ didnt do anything at that point. I still win if Ikki manages to get into the graveless state before Mavis dies

Ikki for sure. He counters 95% of teams in pvp. Make sure you get Mavis though
