Seems like this kind of thing is fairly common. They don't vet people very well.
I think this is them doing "research".
They want someone on to try to argue against them so they can talk over them and then cut them off at a time that makes them (and in turn their perspective) look weak.
You can tell the FNG is struggling in more departments than one.
The weirdest thing to learn about conservatives - *every* single time I learn it - is that they have no idea what satire is.
It's not really the conservative part that is bad. They're fundamentalists and these people just don't have a sense of humor. So they can't see how The Daily Show actually makes fun at themselves and Democrats, rather than actually believing what they said in that skit.
Talking about the same crowd that counted among them people who were convinced -for years- that Stephen Colbert was actually conservative but merely pretending to be progressive :D

@@jamesdewane1642 The only thing I remember about Chelsea is how the media would go after her for her appearance, going through puberty and all. It's related because they expected president relatives to have issues, and they jumped on anything because it sold views for them. Any reasonable person would say, she's just a kid, leave her alone. But many also ran with it as if being a teen with teen issues was some federal crime.

Jessie had to leave at the "I was banging my brother's fiance" story which he wanted to enjoy but he had to cut the interview short otherwise he'd have to pretend to be offended. Their lack of any interest in research is why Stanhope got on in the first place -- they probably didn't have any new content to fill the required "Hunter Biden" screed that day.
Someone knew, who ever lined this up definitely did it for entertainment. It will also generate tons of online attention.
This segment was just Fox news crying about a joke from the daily show? I thought conservatives were supposed to have a thick skin and be able to take jokes?

He was one of the first comics to do "triple runs"... Idk if you aren't familiar but it means driving to 3 different states for 3 different sets in one night/one weekend. These comedy gigs wouldn't pay well, so you had to drive your own car everywhere. God damnit idk why I'm explaining this to you, i blame autism.

Not really. It's confusing due to terms & norms being different. What the bible *actually* means by that is that she becomes your responsibility. You shouldn't let your brother's wife starve or have to sell herself (because those were the options back then) just because he died. It didn't actually mean marry, have children with, have sex with, etc. It meant to house, provide, and care for.

One thing that's really embarrassing to see is that whenever the Fox News folks are about to have a comedian on they'll try to be funny. The announcers will try a joke or two, and immediately remind the audience why they're pundits and not comedians.

I sold a house once, and I had to get a termite inspection by law. The inspector told me termites were making tunnels in the concrete. I pointed out that termites don't eat concrete, but it didn't matter, I had to pay the scammer to "treat" my house for termites, which I'm sure he never did. My only other option was to hire another guy to do another inspection who would also scam me.
