Sometimes loneliness may be the only way God can get our attention due to the fact we are always busy and crowded with diverse kind of thought. It is never easy. There is time for fellowship, there is another time to be alone with God. We need this period to discover ourselves and also to grow and know God better. It is better to be alone than to be in wrong company. Loneliness can kill or make you, it is just like a knife, you can use it to cut something or use it to cut yourself. You can do the following when you lonely: read books, fast, pray, learn musical instruments and listen to motivational messages. Have it at the back of your mind that you must not be idle or else you fall into sin.

If left to fester it pushes the victim to loss of self esteem and consequently to depression. I was in a remote location away from my wife (children are grown up). I felt so lonely to a point where I lost interest in many things. I was always in deep thoughts. One day a Nigerian Christian doctor came to visit me. On his departure he requested to pray with me. Without mentioning it to him, he rebuked the spirit of loneliness. I can boldly say here that I felt better right away. Till one of my children got a job in my location and later my wife came to join me, the feeling left completely. I began to have interest in reading and praying. I advise a lonely person to move out of their space and interact with others. More importantly, we all should look out for one another. Loneliness is dangerous.

Before you get into that state of loneliness, God must have bragged about you to Satan (Hast thou considered.my servant Job that there is none like him .... JOB 2:3 ) You may not know, so don't fall God's hand O. There are cloud of witnesses watching. First U pray about your loneliness, the Holy Spirit will help you. You can engage in prayer, reading God's word, praise and worship, read the Bible and inspiring materials, fellowship with brethren of like precious faith, go for evangelism, do positive things that take off that loneliness ( I love writing and reading. look for things that you love doing that are good). Jesus too was lonely too hence " my father my father why hast thou forsaken me? Find out what got you into that loneliness it will help you come out faster as you tell yourself the truth. Psalm 43:5 is one of my favourite scriptures whenever I feel lonely or depressed " Why art Thou cast down O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? HOPE IN GOD: for I shall yet praise him who is the HEALTH of my COUNTENANCE, and my God Psalm 43:5 see also Psalm 42:5,11. This Bible verses tells us the solution.
A time of loneliness could also be a state God has put a hunger inside you to know and understand that nothing in the world truly satisfies except God. This state most of the time draws us to a period of personal retreat and spending time with God.

Sometimes loneliness may be the only way God can get our attention due to the fact we are always busy and crowded with diverse kind of thought. It is never easy. There is time for fellowship, there is another time to be alone with God. We need this period to discover ourselves and also to grow and know God better. It is better to be alone than to be in wrong company. Loneliness can kill or make you, it is just like a knife, you can use it to cut something or use it to cut yourself. You can do the following when you lonely: read books, fast, pray, learn musical instruments and listen to motivational messages. Have it at the back of your mind that you must not be idle or else you fall into sin.

Merry Christmas to you and all and your families. I am currently watching this program on the TV but I feel I should just add my voice. There is a spirit behind loneliness. If left to fester it pushes the victim to loss of self esteem and consequently to depression. I was in a remote location away from my wife (children are grown up). I felt so lonely to a point where I lost interest in many things. I was always in deep thoughts. One day a Nigerian Christian doctor came to visit me. On his departure he requested to pray with me. Without mentioning it to him, he rebuked the spirit of loneliness. I can boldly say here that I felt better right away. Till one of my children got a job in my location and later my wife came to join me, the feeling left completely. I began to have interest in reading and praying. I advise a lonely person to move out of their space and interact with others. More importantly, we all should look out for one another. Loneliness is dangerous.

That's exactly my testimony sisters💜! I recently found myself in a position where I was being forced to compromise on my godly values and lower my standards. By His grace, the Holy Spirit helped me stand my grounds and since then I've been feeling so excited be casualties I know that little act would minister to them sooner or later and draw them closer to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Before you get into that state of loneliness, God must have bragged about you to Satan (Hast thou considered.my servant Job that there is none like him .... JOB 2:3 ) You may not know, so don't fall God's hand O. There are cloud of witnesses watching.

You can engage in prayer, reading God's word, praise and worship, read the Bible and inspiring materials, fellowship with brethren of like precious faith, go for evangelism, do positive things that take off that loneliness ( I love writing and reading. look for things that you love doing that are good). Jesus too was lonely too hence " my father my father why hast thou forsaken me? Find out what got you into that loneliness it will help you come out faster as you tell yourself the truth.
