I am happy it went to a good home and somewhere it will be enjoyed! I need to get mine back out sometime as I did get the foam tires for mine but winter came and I didn't want to take it out in the super cold and fight with the lack of traction! That is something you are going to fight with it trying to find traction! Th side shocks do help to keep it from looping out under hard acceleration. Stiffen up the side that it spins towards and it will help it track a lot straighter. Rear traction is always something we were always hunting for but this was before we had money for tire sauce and extra tires! We just had a blast with them in the parking lot and slid into each other a lot! LOL! I am sure you will work some Rex magic on it and it will be a lot better than we ever got them to run! You do not owe me anything, it was totally worth it to see the big smile on your face and I could almost hear the gears in your head whirring around thinking of things to try with it! Have a blast with it buddy!!!

Pan cars are very different to a conventianal touring car setup. You basicly need to forget everything you know about car setup and start again haha. Im only now hetting to grips with it after abput a year of racing a Xray X1. In my opinion the two biggest changes to the car is front toe, more negitive for more front grip and rear pod angle, centre of the car higher for more rear grip. I run on a medium grip asphalt track so no problem with grip rolling. So I try and go ALL OUT on tuning the grip.
Yes! I was so confused at first why it was so different compared to touring car tuning!
@REX RC’s Fixed into my brain, in a touring car, oversteer first thing I should try to fix it is to soften the rear... on an F1 stiffen the rear. What??? Haha I'm finally getting to grips now though
@@Im_Bloody_Close_to_Being_a_God RIGHT?! Softer rear allows the rear to grab of the touring car but make it slip on the pan car! 🤣
Hey Rex we have to catch up on the phone today I asked why in the last for RC catalogs from Tamiya have they omitted the cc01 are they dropping them to be a mistake?

@@rexrcs ayk is a is an RC car manufacturer from the 80s to 2,000 they had a chassis maybe even earlier than the to go against the Tamiyas and there's was definitely Superior than to there's . Nanini RC you'll see what I'm talking. You watch Rc icons he talks about ayk a lot.
Those tires are for wet use.
