Sprinters are amongst the most aggressively driven vehicles on earth. In the UK they are routinely driven absolutely flat out. However, when behind one and trying to shovel it out of your way, they don't have a lot of punch from 110-130 mph, even the chipped ones. One-twenny is about as much as they'll usually do, and when you punch it past them on your way to an easy 140, you can really hear the engine scream, fit to blow.
Depends on what you have, I did have a 311 314 315 316 and 319 trust me . It's a lot of difference in the noise and everything . That 311 its just rubbish
@@gabriel-mariuscarabelea4665 311 up to 315 have a horrible acceleration rate after reaching a certain speed. Also when stuffed with some weight in the cargo area. It only worsens the whole situation . The 316 without any chipping can at least do a decend 160 kph. The 319
the company i work for i got a new 319 before that i had a 314 the difference is unbelievable and yes i drove the previous one aggressively like rallycar type shit absolut limit and it hold up like true champ 600k km no unusual breakdowns

The rental ones use the same dials only they’re in MPH rather than KPH so they can actually do 200mph. Only available for rental ones though.

Naja, wohl eher deshalb, weil bis 60 der Tacho pro Strich nur 5km/h Schritte macht und danach dann 10km/h Schritte... schlau gemacht von Mercedes...

Also der 316 zieht auch besser bis in den Limiter. Der wird ab 120 nicht so träge.
I’ve been driving around 180km/h in W907 with M654 engine (R4). The problem here is with speed limiter.
Yeah, the Transit with the 2.2 Duratorq can also easily do 170km/h. (But not much more, it's still just a 4-cylinder after all. And at such speeds, body style and wind also matters.)
This is not a speed limiter, but a selected permanent gear. Versions with towing equipment up to 3.5 tons have a short permanent transmission. Versions with towing equipment up to 3.0 tons have a maximum speed of around 190-200km/h (4,000 rpm for 7th gear).

Drove a 216 CDI and it stopped accelerating at (Speedo) 165 kmh.
It did actually still pull but it was clearly limited.

Also hab 316 mit 7G gefahren 2 Jahre... und 319 cdi 1 Jahr...beide waren nicht mal 100.tkm auf dem tacho .. von Beschleunigung als auch von Zugkraft mit anhänger ,mir ist kein Unterschied aufgefallen, egal ob Kasseler Berge oder stadt... aber - aber der v 6 hört sich so an , als wenn er tief atmet bzw braucht mehr Gas ... in der Stadt fand ich 316 zügiger ,ja ok nur! nur( zwischen 65 -80 kmh. werend kikdown ) nur da konnte ich merken das ,das v 6 tik bessere Drehmoment zeigt... daher

Its sad that since 2021 you cant order them with this engine anymore. The 2.0L i4 just screams its head off in pain when you try to accelerate beyond 120-130kph and its best to stick to the low hp versions with less than 150hp because asking for 200hp from a 2.0L i4 lugging around a Workvan with the aerodynamics of a wall and 2+ Tons of weight is just preprogrammed engine death.
At this video, I want to mention that your maximum speed was around at 172 km/h.

just getting a dodge ram diff fitted to my van as its chewed up the standard one so i got it rebuilt with genuine MB parts but that only lasted a week due to the power she's running😂😂😂
Unfortunately in this video you can most time see 100% break or 100% acceleration. Some normal driving would be much more interesting.

Это не 90 года дизель,эти моторы на легковых стабильно так получают,и ездят по 500-600 тис,обороты не влияют

It's about choosing a permanent transfer. Versions with towing equipment up to 3.5 tons have a short permanent transmission. Versions with towing equipment up to 3.0 tons have a maximum speed of around 190 - 200 km / h (4,000 rpm for 7th gear) = approx. 2,400 rpm at 120 km / h

Das Equivalent zum Crafter der MAN TGE welcher eigentlich die gleichen Komponenten hat ist als Automatik 8 Gang eine Bestie im Beschleunigen wenns um die Transporter Kategorie geht. Ampelstart? Jo kein ding egal ob beladen oder nicht. Der lässt fast alle gewöhnlichen karren stehen. Was schon echt krass ist.
Aber ab ca 90 aufwärts dann ähnliches problem. Beschleunigungsrate geht in den keller wie sau

Mein alter Ducato 2,8 JTD hat auch lt. Tacho 170 geschafft. Die 190 PS merkt man bei solchen Schrankwände nicht wirklich. Der 316 CDI ist genauso schnell

у меня 519 4/4 поставил высокие колеса 215/85/16 и поменял форсунки и турбину,прошил теперь едет по спидометру 165 а по факту 188 до отсечки
А какой смысл на ней так валить? По аэродинамике и прочим параметрам она не спроектирована для этого.

All Transporters have a limiter at 180. so they are all the same in Case of top Speed.
A 3L Diesel Engine in a Transporter is a must have, becuase of torque!. Pulls everything better than a little 2L Engine.
Remove the limiter, and it will reach real 190/200.

Ähm mein Peugeot Partner mit dem 1,5 BlueHDI 100 fährt 174 Top Speed, vielleicht nicht die Beschleunigung oder die Größe, aber von der Topgeschwindigkeit her wirklich Mau was der Mercedes da zusammenbringt 🙈 und auch viel zu teuer 🙈😂 Ich find den Vito aber echt cool 👍 Gibt's von dem schon ein Review? Der würd mich interessieren. 👌
Wie sie selbst richtig schreiben ist der Partner ja auch wirklich kleiner und hat einen viel geringeren Luftwiderstand als der Sprinter. Ja beim Preis holt sich Mercedes Benz es von den Lebendigen, aber sie bieten generell eine sehr sehr gute Verarbeitung.
Jetzt mal ganz ehrlich, bei einem Transporter geht es doch nicht darum, mit 250 über die Bahn zu schweben, oder? Es geht um starkes Drehmoment und Langlebigkeit. Was bringt dir da eine lange Übersetzung, die es dir thoretisch ermöglicht, in Geschwindigkeiten zu gelangen, die mit so einem Fahrzeug praktisch aber unfahrbar sind? Viel wichtiger ist es an der Stelle, in niedrigeren Geschwindigkeiten genug Kraft auf die Straße zu bringen, um auch mal einen schweren Anhänger zügig Bergauf zu ziehen.
Eine französische klapperplastikdose mit einem Mercedes Sprinter zu vergleichen ist schon starker Tobak. Ich weiß, ist auch viel Plastik drin, aber die Verarbeitung und Ausstattung ist eine ganz andere
Und genau wie Bursting sehe ich das auch, es ist ein Transporter, kein Porsche! Ich bekomme den neuen 319 mit dem 2,0l Motor. Ich bin gespannt wie er sich macht, habe schwere Anhänger!
