When I lived out in Beaumont, CA I went to college in Santa Monica and had to commute back and forth on the 10W freeway. Going to college, I ALWAYS loved turning that curve right @ 31:09. The way the freeway turns and guides you straight at the background of downtown Los Angeles always blows my mind!
I live in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. I know the road from the many trips I've been on with my family to California, especially Disneyland. The day you did the drive was Star Wars day. It's also the day The Avengers hit theaters. I can't believe it's already been 4 years since 2012. That year was epic!
I love your videos. One thing I noticed was that on I-10 you mentioned Beverly Hills. I-10 never enters the Beverly Hills City Limits. I-10 runs a few miles south from it.
32:22 - The freeway does not go through Beverly Hills. You can't even see/hear/smell the freeway from there. Beverly Hills is about 3-4 miles to the north using the Robertson Blvd or La Cienega Blvd exits.
Not a lot of rest stops. I 'memba was screaming halfway home due to boredom, buttsore, backache, legs immobility. The desert looked frightening to stop on the side?
Thank you for sharing this video, but please be more cautious when driving. You should only occupy left lane when overtaking. Please drive on the right lane and leave the left one for faster vehicles.
Two weeks ago, I flew a jet airliner from Phoenix to LAX airport at night. I could see I-10 below, and the reason I figured out it was I-10 was because I could see the light of the Morongo Casino flashing on the side of the building. The Morongo Casino is the white tower you see in this video when he is driving through Cabazon CA
Question:I know you did this on May 4 2012 when you ended the video you took the I-10 west and east on that same day why would you do that on the same day?
great having the labels, however next time place just before the town/city (couple seconds) instead of covering the view while going thru (ex. Quartzite).
keniav are you talking about when you cross into California or do you hit it while still in AZ cause I drove a truck through there once and I do remember hitting a treacherous point
Arizona doesn't do Daylight Savings Time. When California is on DST, they're the same time as us. During the winter months when DST isn't in effect, that's when we're one hour ahead of California.
This is what 800mph looks like, 13 miles per minute. Ask any F18 pilot, top speed 1,180mph. Fun. It would really be much faster looking, in fact the ground and trucks would be but a blur, but the time to approach objects would look something like this. Please, if not passing move to the right lane! unless road conditions make the ride better in the left lane.
Such a cool drive. I've gone this route several times, and it's fun! Especially going through the desert.
Hey, these videos are pretty rad. Thanks for recording this footage.
I like the song that goes with it.. Thanks for the time and dedication👍👍

As an east coast person, I thoroughly enjoyed this.

You can also go on the 60 westbound in Beaumont. This also takes you to LA.
Watching it in 2024 🫡
Good video.
Owsome video🏁👍
I used to do this drive 2x a month back in the day. Used to stop at the Texaco before entering California to fill up since gas was cheaper.
nice username and video
No mention of Buckeye?
Great job!I was to Parker,Arizona and made some video clips about there.
That was cool, thanks!
were you in Phoenix on a dancing gig? i love this music.
Just a straight shot down the San Bernardino Freeway back home from Phoenix. That's how you get back to Los Angeles!
You should do one sometime the entire length of I-10 from LA to Jacksonville!!
I love this beat
What's the last song called? Its badass if you know please reply!
What do you need to enter Arizona from California? Registration? License? Insurance?
If you're visiting, no need to do anything. If you are moving there, you do need to change your registration, license, and insurance.
32:22 - The freeway does not go through Beverly Hills. You can't even see/hear/smell the freeway from there. Beverly Hills is about 3-4 miles to the north using the Robertson Blvd or La Cienega Blvd exits.
Watching this awesome video, I fill like I'm playing cuisine USA or the world on Nintendo 64.
That was cool....if it was in HD it would have been even cooler! I miss AZ!

There are no fast lanes in Los Angeles though lol
Ummm i think he or she knows that if she didnt know that why would he or she be driving in the freeway tbh
The time lapse makes the driver appear reckless but it is an illusion. At normal speed the driving is normal.
I bet
Los angeles west coast
U didn't include the city Buckeye >:(
I'm gonna live in la some day I live in Phoenix
The_loser_on_the _block did you ever move to LA?
I'm gonna live in Phoenix someday really soon. I live in Farmington NM

It reminds me of 2 Fast to 2 Furious
Where is the boarder check point into california?

Lambs love California

@@lockjaw6 oof. I tried to find a song in this video and I am stil, trying to find it. She doesn't respond to replies and only makes videos.
I cant believe I watched the entire thing.
Don't worry, you're not alone!
Lol yeah i watched the whole thing to
5:26-6:24 no exit from Exit 94 all the way to Exit 81 from 7:25 A. M. to 7:34 A. M.; so about ten minutes of no exit.

120 to 79 degrees in that short of time.
cool!!! :-))
Damn how old is that camera
im going to guess about 5 years old
old as time itself
Should see her 2002 entering state/province videos. Camera is super old.
Question:I know you did this on May 4 2012 when you ended the video you took the I-10 west and east on that same day why would you do that on the same day?
Cool video here, but damn, talk about left lane hogging. Yield to faster drivers! Move over.
Guerilla281 Amen!
I never understand left lane drivers other than they are very inconsiderate of others.
Relatively cool. Not sure why? Oh, bc it's relative! Still can't believe I watched this, but eh!
6 hours? holy....
Barbie pole dancer huh. We're you dancing at that Tiffanys across from the mills? Looks like you were staying at that hotel by the Frys electronics.
14:09 the famous sign
Short Trip to California from Arizona
Do I need to pay a toll?
Nope! That plaza after crossing the Colorado River is actually one of California’s Agriculture Inspection stations; there’s no tolls.
You forgot Buckeye!
Driving on the right hand side of the lane is also good too 🤔 and a law required in most states
3:46 Buckeye Arizona
Why would anybody watch this tbh its just a freeway ur watching wtf
watch this when you're stoned with the music.
a e s t h e t i c

Were you coming to la to pole dance?
I'm thinking she's an export
expert* not export XD
I made the mistake of taking the 8 back to OC. Worst driving conditions ever. Pretty scary drive through Devils Canyon.
keniav are you talking about when you cross into California or do you hit it while still in AZ cause I drove a truck through there once and I do remember hitting a treacherous point
🏆
There is mark keppel high school in ur left side near behind the bridges
it takes me about 4-5 hrs driving and it took you only 33 mins. you're going pretty fast there buddy. slow down.
I'm pretty sure he knows that haha.
Its time lapse
Its time lapse in original time im sure it took 4 - 6 hours
Depending on traffic
Probably came to tow the car for Simeon Yeterian
In gta v is santa Monica exactly the same -.-
When you get to the California/Arizona state border, you should change the time to one hour behind because Arizona is in the mountain time zone.
Wrong we don't do DST, so its Pacific sometimes Mountain others.
Arizona doesn't do Daylight Savings Time. When California is on DST, they're the same time as us. During the winter months when DST isn't in effect, that's when we're one hour ahead of California.
Not sure why I watched this
CURE FOR INSOMNIA
Seems like the opposite to me.
