    Joyner is definitely underrated currently - and is it good to know that DMX influenced and mentored him

    • @aurochsbeats
      @aurochsbeats 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Joyner is a real one. He's made conscious songs, made hard hitting songs, called out the snakes in the industry, he's been homies with one of his idols DMX, made music with one of his idols Eminem, squashed beef with Logic and made a track with him, and is currently ghost writing for alot of people and keeping to his private life. He been quiet cuz he got a family and doesn't have shit to prove, he is lyrically better than most of this industry (thats why people like Eminem respect him) . I ain't even glazing, shits just the truth.
      Nevertheless, he is still kind of slept on, but I can definitely see him growing even more and possibly making music with more goats like Cole and Wayne.

I think it was Ross Capicchioni (sp?) that made me a fan and then I went down that worm hole and discovered the freestyles over beats and dissing and whatnot. I had no idea he was close to or a fan of DMX like that. Most of the rappers between the ages 36-39 will say wayne, em, and jay-z, 50 and maybe 3 stack. You don't hear too many people say DMX, Jadakiss or them other monsters in that 98-2002 era. This was dope to hear. I'll probably check the whole podcast out at work tomorrow.

    I think the dopest thing about his artistry is that he said he makes the video treatment before he writes the songs. That process is so unconventional and shows his genius

    Not Now I'm busy is dope as heck. I decided to listen to it all together instead of songs here and there. I think his most dope song is Best for me on there but there's so many good songs on there I can't decide. Cut you off is dope, It didn't go is dope, I'm ill is dope. Can't decide.

    DMX and Busta have been staples in Joyner's career. He's got some great minds backing him since the beginning.

    If X wouldn't have gotten caught up in the drugs he definitely would have been in the same category as Pac And Big. That man had a flow that was untouched.

    The channel "What's The Dirt" uploaded an hour long video breaking down the lyrics to Euphoria... and pointing out all the stuff literally everyone had missed... which is A LOT 😅 I definitely think you would enjoy it, because you seemed a little disappointed when you originally reacted to Euphoria 😅 but I think "What's The Dirt's" breakdown and explanations will give you a whole new sense of appreciation for how genius Kendrick truly is... it's actually crazy 😅
