Neptunus I believe doesn't work like kidney stone. Kidney stone gives you a extremely high rate of fire that decreases rapidly. But this isn't how neptunus works, it will charge up and make you spray lots of tears but it doesn't give you stats. So getting it would basically be useless if you don't normally like the item. One of my personal favorite combos is rock bottom, red stew, soy milk, and kidney stone.

The difference is that twisted pair still fires forward, while Conjoined shots fire at an angle and are harder to account for. That said, conjoined would have been pretty alright here. At least, Conjoined+Homing has always been pretty good in my experience.

Just thought it important to note that key pieces don't affect anything when you have duality. They raise angel deal chance and simultaneously lowers devil deal so it keeps chance of "deal rooms" the same
you might already know this, but the ultra secret room is pretty much always diagonal to a "special" room (treasure/shop/challenge/etc) so using the red key off a special room is much more likely to get you into the ultra secret room

And to say: "They are not worth" is like saying any other room that contains items is not worth checking out.

It has good and bad items, but the main difference is that to access the item room all you need is a key, while the ultra secret room usually is hard to find and even harder to have the means to access aswell, because only a few items could grant you access to it. It wasn't guaranteed a good item before either, it could be Laz Rags, Breath of Life, Guardian Angel, Dead Sea Scrolls, Celtic Cross and so on, but the odds were at least in your favor slightly to make up for the difficult of finding the Ultra Secret room, but not anymore. It's not worth it to HUNT for it anymore, but if it shows up naturally in your way, sure.

Ultra Secret rooms are pretty much every item in the game that has the color RED in it. So Sacred heart is there + brimestone I think. But I don't remember
pokédex streak day 27! sandshrew is #27 in the dex and i do like sandshrew’s and subsequently sandslash’s overall design and aesthetics. a fairly strong ground type pokemon that’s a classic. overal i’d give sandshrew a 6/10
I never saw in Sandshrew something else than just a real life animal. Nothing too crazy, but this also means nothing unnecessary made to make it "stand out". Pretty simple design, 6/10 is a good grade for our good boy the armadillo

Sinvicta ultra secret rooms cant be touching any rooms. they spawn diagonally, meaning on corners. so its best to use the red key on the middle of a room so you can check both corners if possible the way you did at 24:25. it would be really awesome to see you get them with greater ease. (secret room makes contact with several rooms, super secret room makes contact with only 1 room, red room makes contact with no rooms directly but does so diagonally :)
You can only open one door at once with red key, pressing space doesn't use the item if you're standing in the middle of the room and there's two options.
Hearing him talk about the golden coin i think a good compromise would be giving it the same mechanic as a golden heart and just have it burst into coins

That was just a normal trap door to the next floor. Dirty bedrooms give trap doors like the ones that spawn at the end of a boss room, clean bedrooms give crawlspaces. You can differentiate because a crawlspace has a ladder and a trapdoor doesn't have one

Fun fact the Ultra Secret Room has its own unique item pool, that only contains "Red items" So you could get Brimstone, Sacred Heart, 2Spooky, Spirit of the Night, Red Stew, Eye of Belial, Magic Mush, OR Mom's Lipstick, Blood Puppy, Mom's Heels, Data Miner, Kamikaze, Plan C, Kidney Bean, and Pinking shears for some reason. It's about balanced for items you could get.

Wait, why not take Naptunus with Rock bottom? To me that sounds like a great synergy. Wouldn't you keep the charge bonus? Or does it not work that way?
@@AleXelerate8 the charge bonus is independent from Isaac's stats, but even with the charge depleted, you keep the same tear rate you had before picking it up, so the item has no detriments and gives you extra burst damage for free.
Personally I don’t think the ultra secret rooms got totally nerfed but I don’t think it got better, it got changed to red items which I think is right even though it’s not as good as it was before
A easy way to find ultra secrect rooms is to find to rooms that make a corner on the map, then use the red key there and is likely to be there or in some similar spots on the map.

late to this obv lol but hey sinvicta, I think that the Prugatory buff, where in you could shoot it with tears, is an awesome idea, more so i think the perfect balance for it would to have it only do that if you have certain tear effects, like those given in angel and devil deals, or in the most likely case, spectral tears
As soon as I saw Sacred Heart, I literally hit my desk with both of my hands in excitement. The first lap with a little lackluster, but the second one was absolutely wild!
Most people say rock bottom is the best item in the game, sure its pretty good but I doubt it's the best item in the game. 1st: its extremely rare to get it and by the time you get it you're already on the late floors, rendering it basically useless 2nd: it's too reliant on other items for it to be powerful, and literally any item in the game can be powerful if combined with the right item. In my opinion the best item in the game is brimstone because it can carry you through most of the game by itself and while having base stats, and since the chances of you getting no stat ups through an entire run is basically impossible brimstone can always get better
mine is either death certificate or sacred orb combat-wise is Polyphemus Agree with you on RB, I’ve said it before that it’s only good when encountering rare stat downs, which don’t occur often other than pills. The best item with rock bottom is false phd
@@CN-yb5gn yeah sacred orb is in my opinion the best item if you get it early. But spirit sword is in my opinion the best item. It can carry you everywhere and you don't have to rely on tears up anymore. My best run was with isaac and base dps-stats mother. Only thing i got was some speed ups and spirit sword carried me big time

That was just a normal trap door to the next floor. Dirty bedrooms give trap doors like the ones that spawn at the end of a boss room, clean bedrooms give crawlspaces. You can differentiate because a crawlspace has a ladder and a trapdoor doesn't have one

I enjoy red key runs a lot. It's so exciting to see what may come up and first floors go slowly which is great in my books
Fun fact the Ultra Secret Room has its own unique item pool, that only contains "Red items"
So you could get Brimstone, Sacred Heart, 2Spooky, Spirit of the Night, Red Stew, Eye of Belial, Magic Mush, OR Mom's Lipstick, Blood Puppy, Mom's Heels, Data Miner, Kamikaze, Plan C, Kidney Bean, and Pinking shears for some reason. It's about balanced for items you could get.
I had to get a sleep study yesterday and I cannot put into words how miserable the was. I can’t imagine how terrible it would be for someone that already has problems sleeping.

The reason you should go for "R!" Is essentially because it doubles your chance at finding the ultra secret room compared to you going for one of the other "R", since at both sides (South/Nord) of "R!", there's a chance for the ultra secret room. I've seen you doing it not like this for quite some time now so I hope this helps. :)

@@AleXelerate8 the charge bonus is independent from Isaac's stats, but even with the charge depleted, you keep the same tear rate you had before picking it up, so the item has no detriments and gives you extra burst damage for free.
Personally I don’t think the ultra secret rooms got totally nerfed but I don’t think it got better, it got changed to red items which I think is right even though it’s not as good as it was before

A easy way to find ultra secrect rooms is to find to rooms that make a corner on the map, then use the red key there and is likely to be there or in some similar spots on the map.

So I'm waiting for the new year hollidays, they're 11 days long in Russia and I'm ready just to eat and sleep. We cook very much for new year, every family does, and then we eat what we made for some days and everything is really tasty and like it's a whole week of just eating and sleeping and relaxing. I really need that. Also all the staff gets the so called "financial help" (from the university) and the 13th payment. It's like an extra payment equal to the normal paycheck. December is always financially convenient. So I'm just ready for the sleeping and eating part in the beginning of the next year! This will be the first big celebration in our new home, which makes it even more fun.
About work, I wrote my chief today about my worries. He promised me that everything will be alright and great, there's no need to panic. So I've calmed down. I'll just trust the process and my executives. They respect and appreciate me, so everything will turn our great. At least that's what I hope for.

but hey sinvicta, I think that the Prugatory buff, where in you could shoot it with tears, is an awesome idea, more so i think the perfect balance for it would to have it only do that if you have certain tear effects, like those given in angel and devil deals, or in the most likely case, spectral tears
As soon as I saw Sacred Heart, I literally hit my desk with both of my hands in excitement. The first lap with a little lackluster, but the second one was absolutely wild!
Most people say rock bottom is the best item in the game, sure its pretty good but I doubt it's the best item in the game. 1st: its extremely rare to get it and by the time you get it you're already on the late floors, rendering it basically useless
2nd: it's too reliant on other items for it to be powerful, and literally any item in the game can be powerful if combined with the right item. In my opinion the best item in the game is brimstone because it can carry you through most of the game by itself and while having base stats, and since the chances of you getting no stat ups through an entire run is basically impossible brimstone can always get better

It can carry you everywhere and you don't have to rely on tears up anymore. My best run was with isaac and base dps-stats mother. Only thing i got was some speed ups and spirit sword carried me big time
