Just noticed I used the wrong card for Diluc and Kaeya: Diluc actual stats is 1.8k Atk, 65/195, 284 EM Kaeya is Holding R5 Fav not Uraku Misugiri, and is on Atk% Sand (63/145, 1.1k Atk, 230 ER) Sorry about that.
So, comparing your experiences with when Xianyun released vs. now as Citlali released, which character release had a bigger impact on your Diluc experience/enjoyment?
Definitely Citlali. I haven't had this much fun since i got Furina. As much as I love Xianyun and Her big Number hax, I have much more fun playing with Diluc's own kit doing combo using the variety of Teams it can play. And i genuinely don't think they are necessarily worse than Plunge either in practice. Granted, my Diluc is kinda above average so that might bias my opinion. Though, let's be real here. Running Xianyun is essentially disregard Diluc's Kit which arguably no longer a "Diluc Showcase" but more of "Xianyun Showcase featuring Diluc" And His Kit is one of the big reason why I still and continue to main Him aside from His Character and design despite Hoyo trying to fuck me over multiple times throughout the years when i try to upgrade my diluc lmao
Agreed, I also sometimes feel that the diluc xianyun team seems to be cheating because they only use his large multiplayer plunge so they ignore the original diluc kit, even though the diluc players actually like diluc because of his original combo and his badass aura, I feel it too😂. Although it cannot be denied that xianyun can upgrade diluc significantly. But sometimes I feel cheated by hoyoverse where diluc's original kit is with the E-NA-E-NA-E-NA-Q combo, but hoyoverse instead makes diluc's first passive play charged attack, and the normal attack combo that is not interrupted by his skill at C6 should be diluc's C0 feature like writhesley and itto, then for his ulti it is designed unrealistically for boss/elite enemies even though if his ulti multipayer is combined, his scaling can be classified as a very large multipayer. Why hoyoverse whyy🥲
If you had to , who would you swap in (instead) of Citlali? I don't have her so I was thinking maybe Layla or an anemo for res shred? What do you think?
Out of curiosity, do you ever plan on getting kaeya cons from shop? I'm curious to know how big a difference it would be to play melt with diluc and c6 kaeya
At one point I did consider collecting them, until i started using Rosaria and Ganyu since they already have the QoL needed to make Diluc Melt working with almost no drawbacks. The biggest difference you'll immediately notice is the increase on His Q consistency. In best Scenario (Single Target / CC able Enemies / Enemy that doesn't move a lot), you will no longer need to rely on Cryo Infusion from your Anemo Supports to enable Full Combo Diluc Melt without any awkward delays in between. He should still work fine (if not among the best) in non Plunge at C6, but would start lose all of His strenght the moment you face Multiple Enemies, Those who constantly moving, or Enemies with Janky hitboxes in general due to His limited AoE. Which is why Kazuha will still be close to mandatory when you face Multiwaves or AoE even if Kaeya is C6.
Ideally right before Aeonblight expose the Core, if Citlali is in the correct position AND She already locked on to Aeonblight, the NA will hit its core as shown in the Video. You can confirm whether She locks to Aeonblight or not by using NA once. If it doesn't track Aeonblight, your next Attack is guarantee to lock on onto Aeonblight. If it does, do NA once again, the next attack should lock into Aeonblight.
Some Ranged Characters can track and hit Aeonblight Core when it's flying. Furina, and Yae can also take down Aeonblight using their Skill with some timing.
The Blazing Sun is undoubtedly BiS for General use, especially non Plunge. But Plunge make things complicated. Blazing Sun can outDMG every Claymores available currently by quite a margin in either Vape or Melt but only when the passive is up, so the practical use is up for debate in Plunge, but it is undoubetly the hardest hitting weapon currently in Plunge. Simply put: If you play Traditional Diluc (including Dragonstrike) The Blazing Sun is the clear BiS. If you play Plunge, R5 Fruithful Hook is the clear BiS but its terrible on Traditional. Alternatively it can be Rainslasher, but only BiS on Vape. Redhorn, Mailed Flower, and TBS is a nother contender but has their own Drawbacks. you can use Genshin DMG Calculator to see for yourself which weapon would do best for you in case you are in doubt.
It's okay, but Hu Tao wouldn't be able to Melt many (if not any) of Her Hits after the first CA. If this is your intention to run Reverse Melt Rosaria/ Citlali, then yes this team is definitely okay. Else, Better swap Dehya to Sucrose and give Her TtoDS (which is better than Pyro Resonance) Or Run to either XQ or Yelan. Sucrose can kinda help Hu Tao do some Melts and increase the Team DPS significantly. With Yelan / XQ, as long as you are careful, Hu Tao should be able to do few Melt hits without dropping Her personal DPS from the Vape Hits.
update about my pulls: after a lot of consideration i decided to go with wep banner instead of c1 citlali... and i lost the gamble 😢 my diluc is currently holding wgs, its cool and all but the drip and upgrade is very tempting after testing it on calculator 😭

Citlali (and some other Characters) can hit Aeonblight Core when it ls exposed be it by Skill or NA.
@@cavernman4739 it's kinda bs how Citlali's charged attack can't take down his wings like bow characters can honestly, same thing for Chevy's Skill

@@cavernman4739 what about wgs?
Can you clear the new event with Diluc plunge.
Haven't tried the event but I'll see what i can do.
Do you think Burnplunge Cryoluc could clear the 2nd side?
Possible if we can 2 Rotate Aeonblight.
Which is a bit tough but doable.
Is it okay to use rosaria, dehya, hu tao & citlali as melt
It's okay, but Hu Tao wouldn't be able to Melt many (if not any) of Her Hits after the first CA.

Hu Tao's pyro application is too fast, so she won't be the one triggering melt after the first few hits, it'll be Rosaria/Citlali instead.
Nahida's skill makes pyro shields last longer btw
Didn't know about that, thanks!

My only gripe with Ganyu is that I can’t see if her burst is ready or not when aiming😅
FYI there's an audio Cue when your character Burst is filled.
