    It looks so clean and peaceful on that bike path in the park. Actually the entire city looks so clean and peaceful. Lets hope it stays that way. Beautiful city. Thanks

    Amazing place. Went in May this year and never wanted to leave. Everyone was so nice and friendly. No homeless begging for money. No litter. My ideal destination. Really good video!

      except she is delighting in riding it recklessly, disregarding traffic and cars right of way and even hitting some pedestrians on the sidewalk, with that stupid grin, unusual as when I was there everyone was super polite

    Great video - thanks for bringing back happy memories for me of holidays in my favourite country. Reykjavik is such a unique and beautiful city. By the way, this tour was definitely enhanced by the lovely girl on the scooter!

      What nationality of ppl live there? What is the native language?

    • @SzymonZak
      @SzymonZak  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Icelandic people live here, and they have their own language, which is the closest to the ancient Nordic language. ;)

    • @johnm84

      Yes Iceland has no homeless people and Iceland has very few drug addicts. Iceland is a very clean safe peaceful country and Iceland has very few problems.

    This makes my heart hurt. A year ago this week, my wife and I were visiting Iceland when the pandemic hit, and we returned home to a different world. Walking through this part of Reykjavik is one of my last happy memories before the USA became a very unfortunate place to live.

      Wasnt the USA always an infortunate place to live?

      @randolph_v 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jay38869 That’s a good point. For lots of people, it always has been. I was mostly referring to Covid, which made everything worse.

    At 10:29. You know you're entering Reykjavik gay district. When you see the street painted rainbow, and club music blaring. Too bad Corona is keeping crowds empty. Thanks for inviting us on this trip!

      Yes and no, it was a push scooter to smooth out the footage and speed it up on less interesting parts.

      I would think not, as she is very inconsiderate to ride against traffic in the middle of the road and hitting some pedestrians on the sidewalk, looks like an idiot

    what language do they speak in Iceland? And what that unique tall arteictual building with a statue in front of it of some man??? Not sure why this was a silent film cause I was interested in knowing more...Am I the only who was surprised to see graffiti in Iceland?

    • @SzymonZak
      @SzymonZak  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They speak Icelandic, which is old Nordic language, but also they speak English fluently.
      I think you refer to Hallgrímskirkja which is church of Hallgrímur.
      It was a silent video to let you have a feeling of walking in Reykjavik by your own.

      It was combination of walking and riding to show more in less time.. It helps to save your time and provide smoother, better quality footage for you, my Dear viewer. I appreciate your feedback.
