That looked like a better venue for that show. It was great to see how everyone responds and interacts with the kids there. Looked like everyone went home with something which was great! Fantastic remarks by Rick Leonardi! And I grew up on Michael Goldens’ art so nice signature’s. Great upload once again Mike!
Hafa Adai Mike! This is probably my Favorite Video you’ve posted to date! What a Great Blessing to have your whole Family goto Wicked-Con with you and have a wonderful time. Wow! What a precious memory of Rick Leonardi creating those Amazing Sketches for your Kids! You’re Blessed with a beautiful family as I am as well. Glad we have this in common. Keep Bringing the Joy Mike. “Enjoy The Chase!” IslandJ
Great show Mike. Nice to see the whole family enjoying a great day out, Great to see your kids appreciating high art and then going to an art museum 😀. Love LEGO, not big on minifigs but after seeing yours that could easily change! Rick Leonardi, what a geezer. Especially the Cyclops art, that was awesome. Keep up the good work geez. Lovely family. Thanks for sharing.
Very awesome that you and your family have so much fun with a hobby that you all love. I have been collecting comics for years but now my son who is seven has gotten into it mainly because of your channel! I have been following your channel for a while now and he caught me watching it and he loved it. Now we watch it together and we even try to go to flea markets and other places to find deals on comics just like you. He loves it and I love the time I get to spend with him in a hobby we both really enjoy. I just want to say thank you for what you do and keep it up because we really enjoy it!
The fact that the whole family got involved and participated in the comic con makes this one of my favorite videos of yours, Mike. It looked like everybody had a good time & came away with something. Win-win! 🥰
Mike, great family-oriented video!! Nice that Rick gave some wonderful artwork to your kids ( and that your daughter found a book she is excited to read!!)
It’s awesome that your whole family including your wife joined you at the CON. My wife would’ve sat outside on a bench and read rather than walked in and spend the time with us. Looks like you had a great Sunday.
Wow! Are you conned out yet? What a great time with the family and some great swag! I am planning to go to the Granite State Comicon coming up- maybe I'll see you there-
That is so great to see, you with your wife, and your son and daughter, the latter two both very nice, polite and well-behaving You have a treasure there, and you and your wife are raising them the right way. Compliments on your kids from a teacher who doesn't see this too often...
Very awesome show and pickups! Those free sketches were amazing and loved the X-men Lego minifigures! Glad you and your entire family had a great time.
Great video meeting the iconic spider, man. 2099 Artist spider man 2099 is my favorite, and you are awesome I wish I meet spider man 2099 artist and good job on the video .
New to comics, about a month in. Love watching your videos. Like your concept of finding comics in strange and odd places, obviously we all can’t get lucky and find a Hulk 181 and still get a great deal, but hey you never know so you gotta keep on hunting. Sure you can find what you need on eBay, but there’s no surprise element like looking through short/long boxes at a yard sale. Last weekend I went to my first comic convention, picked up a good amount of 1987-98 Silver Surfer, and issue #1 dr doom 2099 and x men 2099. That issue #1 Spider-Man 2099 that you have is an awesome cover, hope to find one soon. Thank you for what you do, happy hunting.
How long must it have taken the people to set up all their Lego superhero figures?!? Talk about commitment. And they are definitely cool little collectables Mike. Michael Golden is one of my favourite artists and he's an awesome colourist too.
Rick definitely treated the kids right. So nice to have him draw those art pieces. It's a memory they im sure will cherish and a great ways to get into the hobby. Great video as always mike!
Glad you & your family were able to go. I went there as well, dressed as Spidey from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And my brother went as vigilante Bruce from Gotham Season 4. It was absolutely awesome! Would've gone on day 2, but we got sick unfortunately. It's okay though, got the memory of a lifetime to cherish.
I met Rick Leonardi at a comic show in New Jersey last year and he was a super funny guy, took a picture with me and signed my SM 2099 #1 & 2. That show was my first time having anything signed and he made it a great experience
The Lego purist in me isn't generally a fan of customs BUT because they don't produce many of the X-Men or they are expensive con exclusives like Jean Grey makes that line up you got pretty sweet (and a good deal for $5 each, customs can sometimes go for a bit too)
May be a dumb question (it's been 30 years since I started going back to comic cons), but what do artists charge when you ask them to sign a book you own? One of my favorite artists from when I was a kid is going to be at the Baltimore Comic Con in a few weeks that I am going to, and was just wondering what to expect. Really love your videos, thanks!
@@daveofford it really depends on the person and the show. Usually $10-15 dollars, but often it’s free and they just ask for a donation to a charity. Either way a signature usually isn’t that expensive. Happy you like the videos!
Now that is amazing. It's great to spend time with buddies but family=love. The love that I have for my wife and kids will always be different. I'd sell my whole collection for them.
@11:16 -Boy!... for $20 he could have made a larger signature!
Its awesome to bring the whole family ❤
The x men display looked really good

I like hearing about creators who are nice people in real life. Makes me appreciate their work even more.
Another awesome family friendly video. Love Rick Leonardi and would love to meet him one day. 🎊 🎉❤

Thanks Mike! Loved meeting your entire family at the show! I hope your daughter enjoyed the rest of the issues of Mighty Mascots!

Wow what a great family day!
Some very cool items there. I was half expecting to see the giant Nightcrawler statue in your basement at the end of the video
#Famgoals....well done my friend. Again, I hope this kind of experience is in my near future.
Very awesome show and pickups! Those free sketches were amazing and loved the X-men Lego minifigures! Glad you and your entire family had a great time.
Cool that flash artist Alex saviuk was there. Great channel!
What an awesome family outing! It's great to see your kids having a great time!
From watching your videos you seem like a genuinely nice person and that also shows with how respectful and kind your children are.Kudos to you.
Another great video. I'm glad to see the family was with you. It looked like everyone had a great con. Thank you for all you do for the community.❤❤❤❤
Another great video. Love your content!
Family family family! Great pictures! 😊Mike your a TH-cam Sensation! You plug everything! All your voice actors bamfed away!
I skipped Wicked this year as I knew I was going to Terrificon. Looks like you and the family had a great time. My daughter loves the ISG museum!
Those Xmen statue/mannequins were incredible. Must be difficult for them to be stored and transported though.
Dang talk about an awesome family memory! Free professional sketches are going to make this one stand out in the memory banks for a while I’m sure!
The time with family makes all that much better. What great day.
The pictures of you and your kids are memories for a lifetime. Great video!
IMHO Phil Jimenez is one of the best comic book artists around.
It's OK. Bishop just went back in time. 😂

Great video man!! I wasn't able to get to last weeks Portland con, but this helps take the sting away a little.
Yeah I follow Greg Maraio. I've watched him build all those X-Man. Thats awesome alot of people are seeing them.
Great looking family
Glad you & your family were able to go. I went there as well, dressed as Spidey from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And my brother went as vigilante Bruce from Gotham Season 4. It was absolutely awesome! So cool you got to check out the art theft situation at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Love that story!
So did you look for Daredevil issue 130 if you're going to hipcomics it's a $230 comic
Awesome Nightcrawler mini-figure. Did it have a tail as well?

I love that they sell the individual members of the X-Men as Lego people.

X-Men voice actors will be at FanX.

Are those lego minifigs genuine or chinese bootlegs?
