So many people are having issues with Thor RVs built during covid. It is shocking how bad their quality appears to be. You are amazing to keep such a positive attitude.

I have the EXACT same RV and had the same EXACT issue with the generator. My RV dealership ordered and replaced it. I’m not a full time RVr, and don’t drive the RV that much only for camping trips, etc. BUT, I’ve had my share of problems with that thing. Glad you’re taking care of it. Good luck with journey. I live in a senior apartment, and I confess I'm a bit of a prepper. Last year I bought a big solar generator with a solar panel. There have been a couple of power outages, but I had the comfort of knowing that I could power my fridge if needed. And have lights. Keep trying to get that generator fixed, Nomi. But always have at least one backup power source. Especially if you're planning on being out on BLM land. It won't run your AC but it will keep your fridge going and charge your phone and puter.
Hi Nomi. It's good to see you. I haven't been following alot but I need to get out of my head and see a friendly face and enjoy your videos. My daughter has cancer. It can't be cured but I'm never going to give up hope. It's horrible how much Cancer can turn one's world upside down. You mentioned Van life is like being on a roller coaster and that's how I feel. Up one day , down another. Life sure throws us curve balls. I can imagine the ups and downs of Van life but it sure is enjoying to watch.. I'm sorry you've had issues with your generator. Sometimes it makes you wonder if some of these techs know what they are doing but it's great you still have warranty. Just checking in on you Nomi. Stay safe and enjoy your travels. Take the good with the bad. ❤
I have a 20 year old class c that I have been renovating for 2 years. It is always something wrong and I am just a weekender. There is nothing worse than a water leak or power issue. My generator is original and still works great. However, I use it to run the microwave once a trip maybe. My goal is to go to 70 degree weather so I never have to use my AC. It is so loud and obnoxious I hate running it. You are in the wrong part of the country for summer my friend. The mountains and mesas of northern New Mexico are lovely and temperate. ❤❤❤😊
I’m sure you probably already know this, so it’s no news to you however, I just want to reiterate that no matter where you’re going next especially if it’s in mountain areas it’s always a good idea to make sure your van is in top shape like you’re doing now. The reason I say this is because a mountain area like big bear lake near me you do not get cell phone reception in some places going up the mountain and if something were to happen, you would not be able to use your cell phone to call for help. Like if your van were to break down or something. I think you said you have other ways of calling, I can’t remember, but it’s always a good idea to have a solar or Crank radio or walkie-talkie for survival situation’s, and other ways to communicate or to receive information. Battery operated generators would be a must for me if I was a van traveler so that I would be able to charge my cell phone if my van broke down etc. from a fireman’s daughter safety first. 😊
This RV company should thank you for showing up the issues with their builds. They should now be able to come with better builds, with parts that are not inferior.

Let them know all the attempts that you have made to get your generator repaired showing your due diligence. You might even want to send him the links to your TH-cam Channel where you have attempted to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is not giving them good advertisement. Put the ball in their cart and ask them What they would recommend for you to get your vehicle repaired So you can get back on the road and get on with your life. I had to do this a couple of times and I was amazed by their response.
Very true...last few years rv dealerships didnt care....but new rvs are selling slower now with more used ones available and the economy....might try it.
Thank you for detailing the ins and outs of van life, I want to go tiny and thought of van life but after watching what you're going through, my anxiety wouldn't allow me to maintain that lifestyle. Tiny living is my backup plan (399 sq ft is enough for me), God bless you though and much love hunny bunny🥰🤗🙏🏾.
As frustrating as it is to have to deal with these problems, it could be so much worse. For instance….Not dealing with them and then being forced to repair and not on your terms! You got this!!! Know we are rooting for you Nomi!
Your trials & errors are teaching you along the way. Your honesty about the problems you've had is refreshing. Those people should have primed the generator before you picked it up. I'm learning along with you. You might consider a brake lock to use when you leave your van to go out exploring. It makes the would-be thieves go on to another vehicle that doesn't have one. I like the mellow music you play for us occasionally. Very relaxing.
If you use the outdoor shower, you'll need a curtain of some kind, you should put thst & the hose in that emptied white l8dded container. I wouldn't donate the container, those stack nicely and you may need it. You might consider a rain poncho in your gear as you can't hold an umbrella while doing set up or unhooking hoses, etc. You could keep it in that spare storage container too!
Glad to see that all is well again! Trust me, I understand the struggle. Your wanderlust will keep you going. Be safe and keep protecting your privacy.

I’m so happy for you that all is fixed. Love your channel and look forward to your videos. So happy your bathroom is fixed! Oh man, just going through the video and the generator went off. Watching the rest of the video now. **good attitude on the generator. Hopefully, the next trip in to get it checked will be the last! Btw, I tried the Greek yogurt on my chicken tacos, it really was good!! Thanks for the tip!
Safe travels. Yes, life will do what life does. Problems build knowledge and strength. I am so going to start using Greek yogurt in place of sour cream! Great idea!
A few years ago, Cummings repaired my generator in Missouri. They took the generator out of our 1998 Winnie 22’. We were directed to stay in an RV park close by and run our A/C off electricity for 3 miserably hot Missouri July days while they fixed our generator. I was in my 70’s and my mom in Her 90’s and we were traveling with 6 cats for the summer from Bradenton Fl to Mt Rushmore. Cummings staff worked us in as an emergency because if we had to wait for the first open appt it would have been over a week. They were very good to us.
I absolutely love your channel, I'm glad things worked out for you. I'm a chicken that live anything living off the grid. I love your voice it's so relaxing and calming. What are we cooking today and grocery hauls?
They really need to find you and give you a new van. Way to many issues. And you are clean and gentle. Really making them look bad. I wouldn't buy that model because of all the issues you have. The shower replacement was shocking too. They should also give you loaner or pay your hotel fees.
If it was me in your shoes, if you continue to have issues with that garbage generator, I would yank that thing out and replace it with a MUCH cheaper, easier and WAY more reliable portable generator, but that's just me. Portable generators are much better in my opinion! Good luck!
I am so impressed with how you take care if your van. And your attitude is so inspiring. So glad you got a new generator. Oh no just saw it went off. Hope it gets fixed.
I agree 100% about packaged tortillas; they taste stale and have lots of preservatives in them for shelf life, etc. I lived in Texas for many many years and I always ate fresh tortillas too! When they're made right, they literally taste like hot fluffy pancakes. Mmmmm! With that said, the next best thing to freshly made tortillas is the frozen organic flour tortillas made by La Tortilla Factory at Whole Foods. Warm them in the microwave for 35 seconds and they're very good. A good substitute
I enjoy being in your world as you navigate life. I, too, am an introvert and the older I get, the less tolerant I am of others. It’s my season in life to pull in and find my happy.
I appreciate the way you keep it real what two things going on with your van my daughter has been watching you she's thinking about getting a van and doing the life so I appreciate you showing the responsibilities that goes on in the and as always you're in my blessings
As long as you can think and are healthy, you can deal with van life and encourage other van lifers thru you experiences on the road. God bless and keep you.
Hey! 5/19/23 I’m just watching this video. How are you. It’s Friday night here in Pearland Texas. Ian just watching you. And relaxing after a week of working. I’m ready for the weekend.😀

Nomi keep going, stay on them until its right before you leave, it will be good.
Nomi, remember that everything in life is temporary and your generator problem is just that.. It will pass. Keep doing what you are doing enjoying life..❤😊😊 . Take care xx
Breath. Pray. Stay positive. Be assertive when needed.
Hang in there Nomi! Girl you got this! 🫶🏽
Praying that they will be able to get your generator fixed soon. Stay safe, Nomi! Much love!
You are a STRONG person dealing with all those van issues. I would have given up, and rented an apartment 😂
You make everything look so good when you're eating it you make me so hungry every time I watch you you have a blessed day
I absolutely love your channel, I'm glad things worked out for you.
Period!
I'm going to try those tortillas from Whole Foods, thanks for the info!
Yes! I get those at Whole Foods too they are 🔥
I love your content Nomi! Thanks for sharing your life with us all!❤️
When u smile and I see how happy u are I catch myself smiling. ❤❤❤
I enjoy being in your world as you navigate life. I, too, am an introvert and the older I get, the less tolerant I am of others. It’s my season in life to pull in and find my happy.
I can hear the frustration of the day in your voice. So sorry you had to go through all this.
I appreciate the way you keep it real what two things going on with your van my daughter has been watching you she's thinking about getting a van and doing the life so I appreciate you showing the responsibilities that goes on in the and as always you're in my blessings
Prayers to you as you prepare to leave Florida! And may there be no more major problems with your beautiful home.❤🙏🏾
must be really frustrating to have so many problems with a brand new van :(
Your cooking has inspired us to cook simple, well seasoned meals. I enjoy your travels.
I prayed that you’ll have no more problems with your Van🙏
As long as you can think and are healthy, you can deal with van life and encourage other van lifers thru you experiences on the road.
God bless and keep you.
Love the sound of the rain
Hi Nomi, thank goodness you had that problem fixed before you hit the road. Have a great day and stay safe. ♥️😊👍🌴🌴🚐🙏🌞
Hey! 5/19/23 I’m just watching this video. How are you. It’s Friday night here in Pearland Texas. Ian just watching you. And relaxing after a week of working. I’m ready for the weekend.😀
Please be careful hiking and make sure you get your bear 🐻 spray and some good boots 🥾. Be mindful and prepared for wildlife & weather conditions.
🙂💜
Thank God he saw you through the obstacles of it and he brought you through he is a God to praise
Thank you for sacrificing for our greedom. Glad you can go to the VA for medical care.
God bless you. Take care, and be safe.
Also, thank for sharing your videos. I am travelling with you via your videos.
Hey Nomi! If you enjoy homemade tortillas, I HIGHLY recommend buying the uncooked Tortilla Land Flour tortillas! Love your videos btw!
Good suggestion. I love them. They are fresh and you can cook as many as you need for that meal and refrigerate the rest for the next meal.
I love your positive attitude regarding your van. Look at like this it’s no different than a house. Everything worth keeping you will always need to fix.
Keep in mind, yogurt loses its live bacteria when you place it on heat with the steaks.
Girl, dont sweat that generator thing. There are many people out there that never had a generator at all. You have a nice comfortable RV...you're doing better that alot of folks.
@D. Miller easy to say when you’re in stix n brix. I can feel her vulnerability and her dread. It’s a pit of your stomach fear.
When you think you’ve done everything right and things keep going wrong your mind wants to go down ugly roads.
I applaud and admire her courage in facing reality and dealing with it. I hope she’ll always feel free to share her down times with us.
@@sactopyrshep Well said Cathi! 💗💗
Look, I love her videos...just saying there are many, actually too many, folks that live on the road out of necessity not curiosity, in tents and cars. God please bless them too😊
I’ll keep you in my prayers. You have a lovely soul where most of us would focus on the negative points. You knew what could happen in your travels because I remember you saying it. Thank you for not being hard. God Bless
All of the problems that you have with your RV remind me of all the problems I have with my house. Every time you turn around there's something else new that needs to be fixed or repaired or replaced! You're doing an awesome job! Way to be positive in the face of adversity.
The minute you become a homeowner (of any kind) you find the you are fixing and up keeping continuously. You are doing a great job keeping in control.
Hi Nomadic you are so right even if you live in a house, apartment, mobile home, manufacturehouse there will be things that need to be done, change or fixed thank goodness for warranty. GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD 👍🏽 PEACE AND BLESSINGS 👸🏾
Stay strong! You do you.
Hi Nomi! hope everything works out for you!👍😊❤️
Sometimes priming is pressing the off button for 15 secs or more. Then hit the start button. Try that.
So happy your baby is good and back❤
Hi Nomi, I hope this is the end of major repairs to your home., now maybe you can enjoy your time now with adventure after adventure ❤ Safe travels my dear…. ENJOY!
All things are working out for your good Nomi.
Love your driving skills🎉🎉
Keep your head up young lady for life sometimes throws monkey wrenches our way testing our faith.
Nomi. I admire you and your emotional strength. I suffer from so much anxiety and you have been a blessing. Your calmness and acceptance of things that you have no control of is amazing. You truly “let go and let GOD”. I wish you the best always.
You always seem to keep it upbeat and go with the flow... thanks for showing this.
You might want to keep the xtra small storage box for random small things for the kitchen cabinet so they arent loose & fall out when you open it, like xtra noodles, napkins, xtra silverware, etc.....Wish I had your patience when things don't go smoothly! 😉
I'm so sorry about that generator. It must be so frustrating. With the van being your home you need to be able to rely on things working properly. Hoping they get things right on Thursday. Be well! 💜
I’m so sorry your going through this just a MINOR SETBACK FOR A MAJOR COMEBACK !!!! Prayers sent up and thank you for sharing!!!
Right baby doll there is always going to be something one time or another honey …. And you are awesome that you are sharing your journey and love you for your honestly on life 🙏🏼👍🙏🏼👍
God is Good All The Time
Happy to see you back my friend.
Hope you have a blessed day ❤️✌️🙏🙂
You got this girl! Maybe add some avacado and tomato to your tacos. 😋
I often read the comments, but I find a silent mind is worth it's value.❤
I grew up with a Gma and Aunts that made the best homemade tortillas . It was so nice when we’d go visit . They still make them ..
Awesome. Glad you got your RV together.👍🏾💓🎊🎉🎊
I sorry you had all those problems.
I would love to be in your shoes being able to just travel the world state to state being alone in the peacefulness and quietness on a daily basis keep doing what you do 👍🏿
Best of luck on the generator repair ❤
Nomi! I had to rewind! I heard "Let's get this potty started". Timing is everything! ❤😂❤
