I was not expecting anybody to have a bloody bodybag as their EGO, holy shit. It’d be interesting to see Heathcliff’s conversations with the Backstreets-born Rodion and with sheltered Hong Lu.
WOOO HEATHCLIFF!! There's a bit to be unpacked here. It seems like LCB Heath is based heavily on pre-timeskip Heath; a kid who grew up with nothing, was brought into a rich family, and had to deal with constant abuse from his older brother figure. He was a lot quieter in the book, sitting there and taking things till he could exact revenge, but he definitely burns with that same fury. And his bit at the end about "taking back what's his so he can see Cathy again" is definitely more reminiscent of post-timeskip Heathcliff--he disappears for 3 years after thinking that he heard that Catherine (his only friend and love) couldn't love him because he was poor. When he comes back, he's a proper English gentleman: affluent, well-mannered, and willing to throw everybody under the bus so he can take full control of the manor where he grew up. I guess his harming people to his own ends is a lot more physical here though... _Wuthering Heights_ was I think THE favorite story at the top of my list; it was the first one I read and I expected a standard-fare high school literature book that's super crusty and doesn't hold up nowadays. Boy did I have egg on my face, it's fucking great. It's long, but if you like reading about terrible people in a terrible system and one particularly awful dude bent on destroying everything including himself, give it a read!
Same, Wuthering Heights is my fave too. And to think, all this started because Heathcliff's misunderstanding. Although, Catherine is *partially* at fault.

I think the only person setting him up for success at ALL was Nelly, but even then, it wasn't enough to offset Cathy and Hindley and the Lintons all bearing down on them in their own way.

처음 선행 공개된 대사만 듣고 단테 맥이는 줄 알았는데 알고보니 말투가 거칠 뿐이지 친절하게 경고해주는 거였어... 너란 남자... 스윗 가이... 츤데레... 다른 수감자들과 다르게 감옥 장면이 반항적이라 인상깊네요 그림자는 묘비고요 아니, 어떻게 e.g.o가 시체자루일 수가... 시체와 시체가 안치되는 묘비... 어떤 물건이든 연관성을 맺는 프문의 설계력에 그저 감탄을 금치 못하겠어요 마지막에 캐서린을 보러 갈거라는 대사 이자식... 굉장한 사랑을 했나 보구나 (당연함 원작이 폭풍의 언덕임) 꼭 다시 볼 수 있길 바란다 (옾눞롬곡)
마지막에 히스는 죽고 두 집 안 가정의 자식들이 비로소 가족으로 인정하고 장례를 치르고 끝나는데 참 히스도 불쌍한 인간이라고 생각이 들어요 히스가 초반 캐서린을 사랑했지만 부자집안의 사위한테 관심이 가져 히스 무관심하고 그로 의해 히스는 복수하기 위해 두 집 안의 여자들에게 자식 생기게 하고 마지막에 복수하려는 순간 갑작스럽게 죽고 마지막 히스는 목표를 잃고 허무하게 느끼고 캐서린의 환각을 보고 그리워하는 모습에서 마음이 슬퍼는데😢😢

Anything and everything that the head permitted to grow doesnt matter how dangerous or how rotten the plants are the dont care it is what their intentions it is still the same as the head intended as long as it is from the head by the head for the head, exception is angela on LoR she is a foreign plant running amok in the garden she is still a sprouts the head still watching what kind of plant she will be grow into the common garden plant(human angela route bad ending) or a complete foreign plant(true ending). That why the head waiting till she fully "grow"... The sinners in limbus is like evolved plant that might be different from what the head wanted or allow to he in their garden. Depend on how limbus story will be.. what the sinners will grow into... And if the head will allow them grow in their garden(ecosystem) as one of any other plant or will they just deemed as parasite plant?... That all just the theory and possibilities

Heathcliff gives me heavy DDS Heat vibes: Impulsive, with little selfvontrol, someone who acts on what they feel. He's brutal and violent, but not malicious; he is not evil, or sick in their head. In fact, he strikes me as one who would be first to act up if something sickening comes their way. While he is definitely harboring grudges, of all the sinners Heath feels much more "pure at heart" than seemingly harmless Rhodya or innocent Emil; open, straightforward, without twistedness or hidden agendas. He kinda cute too .u.
@@JannetFenix yeah, there probably is a degree of arrogance to Hong Lu's attitude towards others, but he doesn't really go out of his way to insult and mock people, and the times when he does make an insensitive remark it mostly seems to stem from naivete than active malice or arrogance... though thats just how I see it, my opinion might change after his chapter or when I get around to reading the book he's from
Canto IV and V only solidifies what you've already said here. Now I'm really afraid of not being mentally prepared enough for his Canto (especially when it's named The Heartbreaking).

Heathcliff gives me heavy DDS Heat vibes: Impulsive, with little selfvontrol, someone who acts on what they feel. He's brutal and violent, but not malicious; he is not evil, or sick in their head. In fact, he strikes me as one who would be first to act up if something sickening comes their way.
While he is definitely harboring grudges, of all the sinners Heath feels much more "pure at heart" than seemingly harmless Rhodya or innocent Emil; open, straightforward, without twistedness or hidden agendas.
He kinda cute too .u.
honestly, yeah, I think he's probably one of the nicer sinners, only really behind Gregor, Yi Sang, and Hong Lu

@@JannetFenix yeah, there probably is a degree of arrogance to Hong Lu's attitude towards others, but he doesn't really go out of his way to insult and mock people, and the times when he does make an insensitive remark it mostly seems to stem from naivete than active malice or arrogance... though thats just how I see it, my opinion might change after his chapter or when I get around to reading the book he's from
Canto IV and V only solidifies what you've already said here. Now I'm really afraid of not being mentally prepared enough for his Canto (especially when it's named The Heartbreaking).

@@ananshasheta926 so has most JP, for a long time. Im unsurprised at the ignorance here though, considering the biggest most crappiest VO has always been the english dubs that try to overly/wrongly imitate, and even english dubs are largely high quality these days.
Oh damn, what I'm theorizing after this is that Heathcliff may have been a Rat. You know, the bottom of the barrel in the City's society. Time will tell if that is true, of course.

@@TheElegantGabriel and also on their own EGO mode, every sin has the same fashion style/dress code exception their weapon... Because striped clothes symbolize outcast or someone that need to be contained(criminals etc) at least that what i found.. while red and white has symbolize valor and purity. Also stripes is design that is hard to ignore that also had meaning that the individual did not want to play by social rules. All of our sinner are different individual yet they are "similar".
