Taron Egerton is one of the most talented actors in the industry today. He was amazing in Rocketman and the Kingsman movies. I can't wait for more of his films.
There will never be a movie or show with him in it that I won't watch. He is so insanely talented. I love him! My son and I had a Taron Egerton movie marathon yesterday!
There's a strong tradition of drag in British entertainment so I'm not surprised he's okay with it, but I think it resonates even more in the US because of all the craziness that's been happening there lately. It was sweet of him to say it.
Saw the movie already this morning, it's amazing. It really captures just how completely batshit insane the licensing kerfuffle surrounding the game was, while punching it up a bit for entertainment value... (Though I imagine the reality is a bit like _Fear and Loathing,_ where the most outlandish details are the ones with the most truth to them.)
There’s a one hour documentary on TH-cam by The Gaming Historian that takes a pretty detailed look at the weird web of licensing, all the people and politics involved, and some of the effects it all had. Easily worth a watch.
@@sagesufferswell Clearly. 😁 And it's an apt comparison; like _Fear and Loathing_ some of the most seemingly outlandish parts of the story have the most truth to them. Such as Robert Maxwell trying to get _Gorbachev_ to intervene in the Tetris deal? _That is a thing which actually happened._ 🤣
Tetris being "my sorbet" is actually a really accurate description of it! Especially on the original Gameboy! Totally saw it that way myself !! I'd rock that tee!
I didn't know they made a movie about Tetris. That's so cool. It's my favorite game and recently found out it's been studied and found to be a stress regulator that helps with adhd and ptsd. Both of which I have so that's probably why I like it so much.
I like Tom Holland as a person, he seams to be really nice in real life. But I think Toms acting wouldn´t have a chance against Tarons. Toms face expressions are quite limited. He is not as extreme as Keanu Reeves or Ryan Reynolds, but I still see Tom in all of his roles. You know what I mean? Taron is more versatile.
As another 80s child by the skin of my teeth, it felt as if tetris was on every game console, cheap or expensive, there was some kinda tetris. It was impossible to avoid tetris if you played videogames. And pokemon blue was how i learned english, squirtle GO!
I agree. That´s what I really like about Seth. I´m a german-turk and I often get a culture shock watching Jimmy Fallon. That cheesy, fake friendliness is beyond anything I ever watched in german or turkish television. Jimmy wouldn´t have a show over here.
I've always been geeky enough to call myself a "Hard Core Gamer" but I never realised that all the Tetris blocks are made up of 4 smaller ones? 🤔 Boy do I feel like a Prick.
@Orlagh, that's not completely unexpected when it comes to Taron because he's really good friends with Sir Elton John because they appeared together in Kingsman: The Golden Circle and as we all know he portrayed Elton in Rocketman, didn't he? Not only that but Sir Elton has a jokey pet-name for Taron of 'Blodwyn' because Taron's from Wales. ✌😁✌
He was born in England but grew up in Wales But he's been living in London for over 1O years now He is Welsh and Aberystwyth is his favourite place in the world and it's home to him His family still lives there He talks about it here : BAFTA interview From 2:4O th-cam.com/video/4ESipZXzai8/w-d-xo.html KISS interview Around 4 mins th-cam.com/video/anQ4gyecP74/w-d-xo.html God bless you all
Not sure if it’s related to me, Anna & Miles. If so, def something else to be separated (like I keep saying). It’s an expensive lesson in how to waste time I won’t get back.
Considering he has been dating Emily Thomas for six years before splitting up might show he is not gay. Taron has been a brilliant ally and supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. Just because he supports us, doesn't have to mean he is gay.

The Robin Hood movie he did...I watched it SO many times
"And that is why drag is OK."
I teared up there a little bit.
That was a very wholesome moment.
Yup, same.
He also said it with total conviction. Which really warmed my heart
Drag is great and fun! Glad he said that.

Taron is such a darling. And Seth is great interviewer.
True
BEST actor of our generation.. All of his films are incredible and he certainly deserves more recognition
Taron somehow gets sexier as he's getting older. Beautiful man and wonderful actor.
I am a huge fan of Taron’s singing. This is a great interview!
"The movie ends when your moustache falls off." 😂
😂😂
He is about as charming as a person can get.
Taron, forever my favourite person on earth. 💙💐
i really love him, Taron is the greatest actor of this generation by far and the movie is great, he gave another perfect performance
OMG he's adorable! Love his chemistry with Seth about the mustache 😅
I feel the same.
was already a fan of his, but this was my first time seeing him interviewed. I'm a bigger fan now
Oh there's a treasure chest o interviews on TH-cam!! All great. He has such a great vibe
Same here
Seth picking on Taron like a big brother is so fun to watch. Great interview!

I never see people bring up Fear and Loathing as a reference. Clearly I've been around the wrong people.

He was awesome as Henk Rogers. A very funny and talented actor. I look forward to seeing him in more movies.
Tetris being "my sorbet" is actually a really accurate description of it! Especially on the original Gameboy! Totally saw it that way myself !!
I'd rock that tee!
OMG he is so loveable. Charm machine!
I absolutely loved this interview. Seth Myers’s was great. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
It is simply impossible not to love Taron Egerton. ❤❤
Hi from Wales we love our actors, Taron is so lovely
I love Tetris. This movie looks like it will be really cool.
He is so charming and funny! 😍
He is so funny and cute. I've been a fan since the Kingaman movies
Taron is so handsome ❤❤
He's so good looking 👀🫣

I will continue to say that I need to see a Guy Ritchie film in which Taron and Tom Holland play brothers. Make it so!

Him and Jeremy Allen-White
2 of my crushes talking to each other I LOVE THIS
Just finished watching Black Bird. OMG I can't believe it's the same person!
He, s is a wonderful actor ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love Taron
The little shop of horrors movie he’s been long attached to was recently declared “shelved” so I love the subtle attempt to get it back out there 😂
He’s multitalented, charming, funny, and very handsome - gets finer with age, too. Want to see him in more things.
He is gorgeous. And very talented.
Quite a talented actor, this Taron bloke!
OMG Little Shop is MY FAV Broadway show of all times. I would TOTALLYA COME see you in it!
Love him ❤❤❤❤❤❤
He's a good actor. Tetris looks good and 80s type of movie.
What a charming, funny young man 😃
I was addicted to Tetris. And I loved the music. And now I can't find that music anywhere. Makes me so sad. 😢
here ya go, friend

10hr version, maybe?
I love Tetris I still have my ps game, case still in one piece! But no hardware to play it on!
💯nvr ask a gentleman if his mustache is real or fake haha💝
Thank you Seth and crew.
I love him
DAMN CAST HIM AS SEYMOUR PLEASE
I guarantee some Jackal will have that shirt made just to stick it to ya, Seth.
wouldn't mind owning said shirt at all!
I hope one day there will be a film where Taron and Jeremy Allen-White play as brothers
Talented dreamboat, so funny, genuinely an actor!
When I read the title...I thought it was about his mustache being in the shape of a Tetris piece lol...the T perhaps.
That was my initial thought too 🤣
Two delightful people having a blast
Most under rated actor ever!! 😊
I’m a 90s kid and I also played tetris! Loved it! Addictive! I play Pokémon too and sonic the hedgehog on the original play station
As another 80s child by the skin of my teeth, it felt as if tetris was on every game console, cheap or expensive, there was some kinda tetris. It was impossible to avoid tetris if you played videogames. And pokemon blue was how i learned english, squirtle GO!
He already had me, naturally, but he won the world when he said "and thats why drag is okay."
Taron❤️🩹
Seth is really giving him a hard time. He must really like him. What a good sport.
I thought the same thing! If he really likes a guest, he gives them so much crap. It's like a comedian's love language.
I agree, their chemistry is evident that they must really like each other outside of this!
I agree. That´s what I really like about Seth. I´m a german-turk and I often get a culture shock watching Jimmy Fallon. That cheesy, fake friendliness is beyond anything I ever watched in german or turkish television. Jimmy wouldn´t have a show over here.
The movie was great!!🎉
Eddie the Eagle also a real person! 1:36 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah , Massive ski jumper , Right ??
Moostacheee' - represented well (even I can not "pull off" a mustache). Great job, #wonderwhatMagnumPI'sopinionislol
I've always been geeky enough to call myself a "Hard Core Gamer" but I never realised that all the Tetris blocks are made up of 4 smaller ones? 🤔
Boy do I feel like a Prick.
I would play Tetris for hours daily and my jaw dropped.
Sammeeee
Proclaiming yourself a "hard core" anything is kinda a dick move to begin with tbh. I feel like that's something only someone else can say about you.
@@sagesufferswell I'm all about the dick moves but the the things that other people say about me are less than pleasant.
with the amount of broadway coverage on this show, there might be a casting agent or two watching
Someone needs to tell Taron about Pokemon Puzzle League...
Can those two beautiful men please go Day Drinking?
Wow 15 is pretty young to start
❤🤍💙 you #TARON EGERTON 1 Septillion times.
Taron saying age 15 is late to get into acting is insane haha
That’s my man, defending drag!! ❤
Love this interview!
I liked the Tetris movie.
Yep def an education/law focus forward.
What I value & will promote. Love pros.
DRAG ID OK!!!!! Hell ya!
The fact that they didn't play Korobeiniki when he walked in was a huge missed opportunity!
Love that Taron shows his support for the LGBTQIA+ community 💖

TE should be THE next Bond 🎥🎬✔️🍿🤩
i love him. so hot.
Right? He was wearing loose clothing, but it didn't hide how jacked he was.
abso-freaking-lutely. He's really grown on me
Wow
Taron Egerton backwards is Not Regen O'Rat. Just sayin'…
😎
Manners
Maketh
Man
Spoiler alert the mustache is fake
i saw the movie tetris is was good but he reminds me of an older version of tom holland
He's from Aberystwyth? He's Welsh?! Sounds like he's from London.
He was born in England but grew up in Wales
But he's been living in London for over 1O years now
He is Welsh and Aberystwyth is his favourite place in the world and it's home to him
His family still lives there
He talks about it here :

Entertaining if ludicrous film. Sad that they felt the need to whitewash Henk.
he's hotter with fake mustache
Ehh if you’re into the 80s cop look lol
Not sure if it’s related to me, Anna & Miles. If so, def something else to be separated (like I keep saying). It’s an expensive lesson in how to waste time I won’t get back.
So much if my time wasted on that
He will come out of the closet one day.

@JohnKing well said 👏👏
You'll get over your need for people to declare their sexuality one day.
Maybe.
so fake...
God from seeing him be a new face in Hollywood in kingsman to now is just 🥲🥲🥲
