Both petrol and ethanol has same carbon content. But there is a minor difference. Petrol when exposed to air, don't have any impact. But ethanol has OH content as chemical formula of ethanol is C2H5OH. This OH when exposed to air absorbs O2 or oxygen from air and water is formed which will damage the engine as there is no device to separate water content in the above fuel. So once higher rate of ethanol will be used blending with petrol,say more than fifty percent ethanol, then this fuel should be poured with no exposure to air and fresh mechanism must be evolved. A slight adjustment in engine too is required so that no water can enter into the internal combustion chamber. If this precaution is maintained, working stroke will have same power as in pure petrol engine because of the equal number of carbon content which is the basic fuel to run the engine smoothly. Very small adjustment is required. Atleast, India will be self sufficient if we follow this development efficiently. All Oil rich Nations are actually worried with this development in India as Indian researchers are even developing commercial hydrogen production from water and coal. This development is death nail for many Oil rich Nations.
you can easily run e85 in modern cars without any modification but installing a high pressure fuel pump and a flex fuel sensor would be the correct way of running e85 or your car will always have the engine check light on. and it is a scientific fact that e85 produces 27 percent less power than regular petrol. also if the car is in regular use there are no problems regarding engine corrosion because of the hygroscopic nature of ethanol. so you don't need invent a new engine to run e85 mr. scientist.
@@RohitSingh-kt4hw e85 means 15% gasoline and 85% ethanol. Put it regularly in your present day car fuel tank and see the consequence after few months. Your scientific brain will collapse looking the plight of your engine car.Slight modification is must to save the engine. There are numbers of TH-cam videos where experimental basis used this fuel in their motorcycle and consequences are also shown, Mr Neo Scientist.

Water and corrosion problems by ethanol are avoidable. Drive the car often, dont allow the same tank of ethanol fuel to sit in car fuel system for above 2 months if you live at high humidity area and if you dont have a garage with low humidity.
