    Arrival of the Birds & Transformation (Piano Version)
    Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann
    Some of you have asked for it over and over again, now it's finally done. The Tracks "Arrival of the Birds" and "Transformation" were originally composed in 2008 for the Disney documentary "The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos". (I think that explains the color.) However, the two pieces became especially popular through their reappearance in the ending scene of the film "The Theory of Everything" from 2014. The music was composed by the British band "The Cinematic Orchestra". I hope you like it!
    Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments.

    To anyone who doesn't have a formal music training and to whom this song seems impossible to learn I want to say don't give up and just be very patient, the fingers eventually learn where to go and the feeling is like being a magician. I started playing this song one year ago and practiced it most days for maybe 20min so that would make 120 hours for my fingers to really start getting it. Thanks Patrick for this beautiful rearrangement.

    • @Memories_broken_
      @Memories_broken_ 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I get it that you don't have any formal training but 20 minutes? Thats a bit too low for a beginner
      When I pick up pieces like these, I at least try to practice for an hour. And 75% of the time, I try the finger exercises to get the flow and precision. If you somehow managed to pull it off, you have my respect.. Its almost impossible for a beginner to nail this piece

    • @thomaschevrierlaliberte5884
      @thomaschevrierlaliberte5884 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Memories_broken_ You have a point. Actually I have been teaching myself piano for maybe 8 years now. It's a very slow process but so enjoyable and without expectations. This piece is the most challenging one I decided to learn. At first I thought 'no way ever!' And after a year I still haven't nailed it, and maybe never will, but I already did way more than I thought possible at first. I think anyone who isn't already a well-versed pianist can be discouraged when seeing something daunting like this so I wanted to tell others it's not that impossible when taking it one note at a time. I did more than 20 minutes a day on some days, I just went for a rough average.

    This is amazingly beautiful! In my opinion, quite possibly one of your best covers yet! It sounds like a relatively simple melody that repeats often, but the inner voices you add to it every time takes incredible skill. Your ability to add these secondary voices in all of your covers is really what makes your arrangements so unique too. Keep continuing to astound and inspire!

    I just knew that if I waited long enough, you would eventually put up this piece.
    I absolutely love it and your version makes it even more magical.
    The orchestra version is all very cinematic but your piano version makes it intimate.

    Hi Patrick! This piece, just like all of them, was just so beautiful and epic! I was hoping to humbly request Taking A Stand, from Captain America. I've been looking for a tutorial for a long time. It would be amazing if you could do it. Your piano versions are just so incredible, and you are truly gifted. Stay safe and keep working hard! Thank you

      Or any of the Captain America songs! All of them are amazing!! (A medley would be so awesome! Usually I'm wary with medleys but Patrik does such an amazing job every time!!!! :)

    this arrangement is SO incredibly beautiful. not only does it replicate the original, but bring out all of the intricacies that make the original worth arranging in the first place. your covers always make me appreciate the original even more! i listen to your version often and was even inspired to write my own for marimba. thank you so much for sharing your artistry with us!
