25 thumbs up! You were so vulnerable to exercise in front us, but you really showed the movement with the clothing. I like that you posed the question (you said it better than me); do we really need to do "that" exercise that would require more formfitting clothing? What is going to be healthy and keep us strong? I love to hike (I have walked the Camino) and you have convicted me that I could do that activity especially in that last outfit. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! I think most women (especially mamas) just want to feel active in some way, shape, or form that gets their blood flowing and helping them feel fit, strong, and mentally well. I get that from walking and stretching, which doesn't require too much bendability! God bless you for your encouragement! :)
Hi there! I also only wear skirts and dresses. I've started physical therapy and wore a very similar outfit to one of these! I was very comfortable, everyone treated me very kindly, and bonus... one of the physical therapists was Catholic and we chatted away about the Faith!
This video NEEDED to get made by someone! I’m glad you are bringing attention to this! I’m mindful for so many reasons.. I’m fit, but out of respect for my husband and other females significant others, children, etc. - I make sure I’m not putting it all out there. 👍🏻
Haha thanks so much, Shelby! I just want to be helpful to other women who are looking for accessible ideas and need the encouragement! You are so sweet! God bless you!
I appreciate the variety of clothing you present! I'm a former D1 swimmer, so I'm used to wearing one-piece swim suits, obviously. With that said, I still workout heavily and need lots of mobility when weight lifting and running. I have found some conservative clothing does get in my way- too baggy pants or shirts just don't work. With that said, I have found wearing long leggings with dri-wick t-shirts that go to my bottom work well. I do usually have to tuck in my t shirt because I'm up and down in my workout, and I don't want to show my belly. Also, the jogger pants with a cinched ankle are great! My husband approves of my workout attire when I go out, so that means a lot to me. And yes, with working out outside in the cold, I layer up!
Ahhh!!! First of all, thank you for this!! I meant to ask about workout dresses/skirts in your challenge but completely forgot! And what a good point about not needing that super flexibility most of the time. I mostly stick to walking a track so it makes complete sense not to need some of the fancy athletic clothes I had thought necessary. Great points and inspiration! May God bless you!
Thank you, my sweet friend! I am hoping it gives new perspective for women who never considered it or women who are seeking a change! God bless you!!!!
I like to dress for the day in a way that I can go for a walk anywhere anytime❤ I think it makes it easier to stay active if you're prepared to be active. But I always dress modestly
I agree and I’m the same way! I always need to wear something to work that allows for a short walk during breaks or allows me to take the stairs. Thank you for encouraging me and encouraging others!
Have you seen the new pants that look like skirts? I bought a pair Black dress pants that look like a full length Black skirt. Love it they're so Flattering
I work out at home we have a Walker for ugly days, and I have a yoga class I take on line from home or where ever I go I just bring my yoga mat and block. But wonderful video sweet angel girl.
@@inacecilia thank you Ina for bringing such peace and guidance to TH-cam….. so tired of seeing the shame that people post in their channels. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙋🏻♀️❤️
Haha Brianna, you brought a smile to my face! I know there are some yogi pretzels who rolled their eyes at me, and I’m not mad about it! But I am not one of them! God bless you!!
You don’t have to wear skirts all the time just to be modest you can wear jeans, shirts and other clothing that don’t show it all, and kind of over done to do so, even for pilates it’s leggings and a tshirt
Hi Natalie! I respect your opinion! I know some women like me have adopted Marian dress or are discerning, so that’s part of my apostleship. I’m happy you’re here to continue to humble me and remind me that we can kindly share different viewpoints in an amicable way! You are a blessing!
Thank goodness, no! I have family close by, though, so please pray. I live in a fire-prone and fire-affected area and we had a bad on in September where we had to evacuate, but thank God that is over!
1. Great plank tip! I will definitely try it. 2. I feel that the idea that workout clothes MUST be revealing and they CANNOT include a skirt is terribly misogynistic. To me, most shops only selling skintight clothes as sportswear is the same thing as beack volley competitions forcing female athletes to wear bikinis. It is sending the message to women that even when doing sports, they are first of all objects meant to be watched lustfully. Reminder : we are not. As for skirts, it is simple. Skirts are feminine and something feminine cannot possibly be practical or suited to any sort of physical performance. Nevermind that women have been doing not only sports but all sorts of hard physical labour in skirts for centuries.

Thank you Ellie! I think so too! Women have been doing this for centuries (and continue to do this)!
@ I’m glad to see more and more women dressing feminine unashamedly. It’s a light on a hill and it will not be hid. 🥰

Such a good point, do we NEED as much mobility in our clothes as we think?? I mean, who am I kidding, tbh 😂
