Joanna Connor has got to be THE girl guitar player out there today. All due respect to her contemporaries. JC can shred with the best of them. She damn well deserves it. Wow is all I can say. She has paid her dues.
This chick has never been given her true do! There is no doubt she was sent by the guitar gods! The vibe she sends though the guitar is as deep as any of the greats! It’s about the grove and the pocket and she gets it done!
Criminally underappreciated and unrecognized. We saw her do this song in person a couple weeks ago and she blew our hair back. She can do Zeppelin, Hendrix, Mississippi Blues, you name it. I think she's the greatest guitar on Earth right now.
So cool to see this! I remember when I was in my late teens/early 20's back home in Chicago she'd play all the blues clubs we had, from Kingston Mines, Blues Etc., Rosa's & a whole lot more! And so cool she's gonna go on your with Joe Bonamassa!!! Nice Les Paul!! I know she has an early 70's or late 60's sunburst standard, but hopefully, Gibson gave this to her, maybe even a signature model, God knows she deserves it !!! Really a shame when manufacturers overlook GREAT, true & honest talent for someone young who really isn't there yet & might have a million subscribers on their YT channel!!! Nothing wrong with reaching out & helping the next generation, & it does help to expose their products, but when it's done virtually all the time, it sends a wrong message to the young, they won't try as hard because why should they, they're being showered with free gifts, they won't appreciate it !!! Great video showcasing a GREAT Artist!!! Rock On & God Bless!!!
Down to earth lady. I interviewed her around 25 years ago. I saw her backstage at a dump. I told her she got reviewed in Living Blues. She was excited to see if they ripped her to shreds. She added that she has never called herself a blues artist. Luther loved her playing. Enuff said.
You are in for some FUN. Tons of great videos. Did you see the cookout video yet? Gotta check her out live! She is not hard to catch pre Covid anyway. Hard workin’ lady. Love that beautiful blue guitar she’s talkin’ with there. Guitar GODDESS just gets better and better!
Saw her play in Columbus, Ohio in 1989 and in 2003 in Granville. She is the most amazing slide player and all her shows are the best. She signed my guitar “keep the flame burning “. Hope to see her play again!
She plays the same patterns & solos in every song I have seen her play, I find it a bit limited, it's just not for me. I'm glad she has success, I wish her all the best.
Magnifique son électrique.
Bravo Joanna!!!!! ❤
I saw her on stage in Germany two times about 25 years ago (or earlier). I have even a signed cd cover from her 🖐️😷✌️

@@Ken-gx2go A blues god indeed, but still a chick at heart.

What a discovery! She’s truly badass. She’s like Tedeschi and Trucks in one artist.
Saw her at Blind Melon's in San Diego years ago, she opened up with Walkin' Blues and my jaw dropped!

Nice refreshing new sound to an old standard zeppelin tune 👍

A lot older than Zepplin: written and recorded by Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie in 1929.
@@robinwells3, let’s be real, who made the song famous the world over ?

When this Covid crap is done, how about an Australian tour?
I agree entirely
Is a must book for Byron Bay and a few other gigs..inspiring a lot of chicks to go out front of stageand play hard !
Kenapa jadi kurus sih???? W kan suka kalau ada gitaris gendut
