    Mind is a machine . it creates thoughts continuously. Bhakti yog says don't stop thinking but divert it towards God, it will purify . Beautiful explanation by Swamiji. A must watch.

    Thank you Swamiji for explaining so clearly that we are slaves of our mind and ego. We create innumerable expectations from the world around us and when they are not fulfilled, we feel miserable.. When we understand our position as a tiny soul and look at the positive side of everything we come across, we will feel joyous and happy inside.

    Swamiji so beautifully says that the nature of the material mind is to generate thoughts that jump from one topic to another. We cannot stop our mind from thinking as suggested by gyan-marg proponents, however, we can sure learn to divert the mind toward God as suggested by bhakti-marg proponents. We can learn to see ourselves as servants of God to make the mind divine. Thank you, Swamiji!

    A must watch video wherein Swamiji beautifully explains functioning of the human mind and how to control our mind and thoughts! Our mind is a machine that constantly generates thoughts. Thoughts are bundles of energy that has tremendous impact upon us. For most of us, our thoughts are uncontrollable and not focused. Simple solution to this universal problem is by diverting and attaching our mind and thoughts to the all pure God we naturally stop material thoughts and our mind will be filled with pure and sub lime thoughts. Thanks Swamiji for explaining this in such simple yet effective way!

    Nice explanation on how our mind and thoughts 💭 works . Thanks 🙏 Shri Swamiji for giving us the wisdom of how to control our Agile mind and the process of thoughts generation. We cannot stop 🛑 generating the thought but can always divert it in positive side by Bhakti yog - I.e. divert it towards God. Nice 👍 analogy with an humorous 🤣 example of Millerappa Sadhu, his Sidhdh (holy) mantra and thoughts on monkeys 🐒 . A must watch for all who needs to control mind and it’s thoughts in a Right direction. Jai Ho !!

  • @saradapemmaraju6855
    @saradapemmaraju6855 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nicely explained by Swamiji on how we can divert the mind to God. First Swamiji started explaining by comparing the mind to a TV, where the channel controller not working properly. Like the same way uncontrolled mind produces many thoughts simultaneously, which agitates us. These thoughts appear on our face where one can recognize if we are angry/sad/happy etc;
    Then Swamiji started explaining the two path ways to control this mind. Out of which Gyan marg is extremely difficult as controlling the thoughts of mind is very difficult. Swamiji explained a beautiful example of Milerepa and the person who was looking for a Siddh Mantra from Milerepa. The person finally gave up of not to think of monkeys while chanting the Mantra.
    This example is illustrating how difficult it is to tell the mind not to think of something as its keeps on repeating the same thought.
    Swamiji explained the easiest path of Bhakti Yog where we can divert our thoughts to God and it is very easy path for the mind.
    This helps bringing wholesome thoughts where our negative thoughts can be replaced easily. I loved the example sage Tulasi das explained how the mind behaves as intoxicated monkey. If we start attaching the mind to God and Guru by practicing the Sadhana our Mind will get controlled and diverted, purified easily.
    Thank you Swamiji the divine gems of wisdom.

    A great warrior like Arjun admits that the mind is even more restless than the wind. It cannot remain without a thought for even a moment. However the beauty of Bhakti Yoga is that we just need to divert these thoughts to God and in time the mind gets purified by the grace of the all pure God . Thank you for this wonderful video.

    Love this story! 😆 Yup if we think negative “ I will NOT” the mind is attracted therefore distracted. From my experience in Yog we always set our intentions in the present, as if its already happened its already done and set in the positive. What shift do we want to make? where are we heading? and making that destination of the state of mind completed in the mind. Im already there!

    Well explained Swamiji through some practical examples. The Machinery of the mind is so complex that we just cannot control it, in that situation the best thing to do is to channel its thoughts towards God so that it's gets purified and controlled automatically. Lord Krishna's Bhagavad Gita suggestion is the way to go.

    I want to say, the thinking is essential and important. What we must do is not control the thinking but the impressions. Chintana is a part of karma which brings forth the action hence comes a newer realisation. Manas is not the mind, it is just a part of the mind we call as emotions and impressions from memory

    The examples cited by Swamiji is this video on the monkey mind are so right on the mark... I particularly like the one where Goswami Tulsidas ji describes the state of his mind as that of a monkey, who is already restless by nature, has a scorpion tied to its tail. in addition has hysteria and further inebriated with alcohol. If an elevated saint like him thinks his mind is in that state, what to say of the state of mind of common person?
