the body horror in this chapter is about to be INSANE. Sawyer was forced into the machine in one way or another and now "lives" within the surveillance system or just the entire computer system in general, but does seem to have built some sort of physical form as we can see at the end. edit: as i totally forgot to say as well, the parallells this has to "i have no mouth, and i must scream" are definitely on purpose. body horror paired with existential horror, this chapter is gonna be GOOD
Ok then with that being said, he was in the cameras since the first game, possibly mimicking Leith Pierre's voice telling the character about the security in the warehouse? 🤔🤔🤔
The line "i think, therefore i am" comes from a character named AM from the book "I have no mouth, and i must scream". In it the character AM is a robot with consciousness stuck in a robotic body. This further confirms that the doctor is trapped inside the body.
@@alexdupaix I couldn’t remember where it originally came from. Thanks! I’m sure we were thinking of the book, because of all the cameras, computers, and robotic body.

That means what Poppy wanted to warn us about wasn't just Yarnaby and Pianosaurus but that Sawyer was down most likely in control of that entire floor. We are literally walking into his domain while he has two and possibly other experiments to utilize. Personal theory is that He's been helping the Prototype since Sawyer knows more about how the bigger bodies work and how to graft them onto it, which would make what Mommy Long-Legs said be interpreted different "He'll make me a part of him" as though she wasn't talking about the Prototype alone but Sawyer will make HER a part of the Prototype.
That it is a really interesting thought! I feel like that would make her fear hit even worse because not only is the prototype going to have her conjoined to him. The person who pushed the project to turn her into the monster she is now will be the one doing it. It makes that line even more chilling.

The fact that he has control over the cameras is terrifying. From the looks of it he seems to be a worker at playtime Co., whose consciousness was forced into a computer and is rebelling against the monsters from how he talks.
He is not just a worker, he is basically responsible for the creation of the Bigger Bodies Initiative which became a catalyst for the Playtime Co. Factory, leading to its shutdown
He might be acting as a hivemind for some of those monsters. Especially Yarnaby who is loyal to him. Maybe if he spots the player with the cameras and screens as his eyes, he alerts Pianosaur to give the sound signal to Yarnaby, who will immediately go to the player's location to kill them.
Regardless of if this guy is meant to be the Prototype or not, the idea that he's been watching the protagonist the entire time is terrifying. Could very well be the reason Kissy Missy got jumped at the end of Chapter 3. This guy sent something to your location to stop you, but the player and Poppy happened to have just gotten in the elevator before they arrived and Kissy was forced to face it alone.
"The Minds of Men are easy to break. You belived mine could be broken too. You were wrong" Did he just admit he had no humanity to begin with? It's one thing to do inhumane things, It's another to acknowledge and admit it's inhumane and still do it. Sawyer was and still is evil, plain and simple. We don't get many those villains in media now a days, gotta appreciate that.
Reminds me of Hojo from FF7. There's actually several similarities. -Conducts awful experiments -Has no regard for the well being of his victims -Eventually becomes one of his own experiments -Is almost certainly responsible for most of what happens in game. For Harley Sawyer, it's the Bigger Bodies, which led to The Protoype, which led to The Hour of Joy. For Hojo, it's Sephiroth, full stop. In both cases, in game problems can be traced back to one source.
Pure evil from start to the end, no change of heart or redemption. These kind of villains are always the best ❤ The fact that he killed tons of orphans too makes him so much darker
@@KittyKatBobcat That is horrifyingly accurate. There have been many relatively competent mad scientists in games and media, but none quite like Hojo. For Harley Sawyer to be on that level, and indeed he is, that's some fantastic writing on Mob's part. Its not easy to make a character that is reviled as much as they are feared, all while being physically pretty easy to take down in normal circumstances. Sephiroth could have killed Hojo the second he had a weapon, but never did. The Bigger Bodies could have torn Harley to shreds, but never did. They were so cruel and unempathetic that their victims were too psyched out to take down a nerd in a lab coat.
I have to say, holy crap! Harley Sawyer has basically become an experiment himself, and he basically sees himself as like a god. Maybe he is trying to become merged with the Prototype?
But it wouldn’t make sense why would Sawyer want to merge with the prototype? The prototype wouldn’t want to anything to do with sawyer if what we know is any indication
@@jacobmillenbach2561Well remember back to the VHS with Harley Sawyer and the Prototype. Harley said that the Prototype is hiding a secret and he wants to find it. Maybe by merging with the Prototype, Harley Sawyer will learn this secret.
@@krvgames9258 But then why would Sawyer willingly turn himself into an experiment Regardless of his reason the prototype would never join forces with him
Harley Sawyer is coming in full force and I’m so excited to see his full design. Didn’t think the tv would be his head. He seemed very confused as to what happened to him so maybe he was punished.
This could be his damnation for all the evil experiments he's done. Forced to watch the consequences of his actions by constantly watching the very scene locations where they took place through cameras. Maybe it's possible that the people who betrayed him were his closest colleagues. Who became ridden with trauma after all the experiments they were forced to conduct on children. Anger manifesting to rebellion, where they used their skills to transform him into his own creations, where he'll forever be in agony and unable to rest in peace. Basically eternal hell.
@BrandonJames2016 yeah.... I mean, imagine being fixed to a mass computer device as a living entity (that's IF he's a stationary entity that serves as the generator for the monitors, could also be fused with it) Stuck in one place for years, likely in agony as his body fights to reject his form, but unable to die as he has been reborn into a new vessel, his soul trapped within. That would be enough to make anyone swear vengeance towards anything living and breathing. It's currently unknown if his situation was caused by anyone but it's possible that with his confusion, sparks anger. He might also not know who exactly put him in this situation, making him blame anyone for his pain. Who knows, it's extremely exciting to wait and find out in the future.
@@ryderwatson7296 is almost like the FNAF Effect. Where there are so many connections to so many different variables in the main story that sometimes it gets hard to follow the one main theme. But I think the story is still cohesive. I just think they’re adding a lot really quickly to one chapter.
@@fkajstn I can see that. I would hate for this game to go into that FNAF effect cause then it would no longer be fun to follow anymore and if I'm not mistaken, MOB did only want to make like 5 chapters of this game so I'm guessing they are trying to put all their eggs in one basket.
I have no mouth and I must scream was about a sentient machine designed for warfare gaining sentience, where it then proceeded to cause not just almost all of humanity to go extinct, but also all the wildlife and flora too. They only left alive 5 humans, which they kept immortal and tortured for 109 years until they killed eachother to escape the agony. The machine's name was AM, in reference to "cognito ergo sum: I think, therefore I AM", to quote the book directly.
After this trailer, I'm starting to thinking Oli might actually be Harvey cuz really how can a kid that claimed to have lived through all the years trapped in the factory and have access to phones and cameras if not it was a masked voiceover of a surveillance mastermind revealed to be Harvey all along. We've been manipulated by him the entirety of chapter 3
Yeah and thats how the electricity come back because he already planned all along during chapter 3 and poppy betrayed us since she and harley have connections from the start
Yess, this is what I've been wondering. I really want to know where Poppy stands because I want to believe she really appreciated Kissy, cared about her and she didnt't know Kissy would be attacked... But Ollie was a very suspicious character, came out of nowhere and seemed to know and control everything. He kinda has the same abilities as Sawyer and we only trusted him because Poppy trusted him. Maybe Poppy did trust Ollie and he betrays us or Poppy and Ollie are manipulating us and this is going to be revealed in chapter 4.
Bruh this trailer is wicked and sick, I can't believe Harley Sawyer is the conscious mind of a computer, that is sinister. I would agree with Superhorrorbro that the employees killed him for what he did. He is the caused of everything in the beginning, the people has had enough of his inhumane nature, treatment, and "goal". I am curious though, if Harley sees the protagonist wondering around the factory. He would most likely try to mainpluated them into trying to free him and he will escaped. But there is a possible chance, the Prototype will try to stop and kill him. After all the Prototype is smart and fast, he knows what Harley has become and he will get rid of him for good.
That would explain Theodore's line "The prototype will save us" in chapter 3. Save them from Sawyer. Although some comments are also speculating that Sawyer and the Prototype could be working together as well, so I could be wrong.
Basically Harley helped the Prototype in the Hour of Joy by overriding the security systems to release all the toys that weren't out on display. Like the mini critters and Huggies
Yes, and that's why he said he doesn't really care about what would happen to the others. Since if a camera gets taken down, there are others for his consciousness to go through.
@@linishatopham1739 because they did in Harley. Oh the two are probably not really allies ATM, and only unified in their revenge against the factory staff, but both of them are just remnants of humanity now.
@@linishatopham1739 Not anymore, Harley is apart of the experiments now. Maybe the prototype and him struck a deal, after all, he was the only way the prototype was getting out most likely. It sounds like Harley could have opened all the doors for every experiment including him.
I assume that the doctor was "put there" not by his coworkers but instead of "his own creations", probably the prototype. This would make more sense due to the doctor being awake AFTER the hour of joy and after the playtime factory has become more of a ruin as shown in the trailer
It may have actually been Leith Pierre since he was the one that told Catnap that the Doctor was "out" and that they'd need to find a replacement for him. Maybe Sawyer was a part of the "state of the art security system" that Pierre mentioned, but when the Hour of Joy happened Sawyer let it out of revenge for his coworkers trying to contain him in the system?
2:00 I don’t know if it was just me, but when the Dr first started waking up, it reminded me so much of the movie Age of Ultron when Ultron first wakes up! I am so so excited for the next chapter!
Rene Descartes idea where the mind is separate from the body and the mind is controlling it the way a person drives a car. Gilbert Ryle switched that up by saying the mind and body are not separate things. Rather, the mind is like a program that absorbs input through the body and it uses patterns to generate an appropriate response.
“I think therefore I am” is a reference to I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream, a short story about an AI program called torturing the last humans, forced to live forever in eternal pain.
Actually, it’s a phrase by philosopher Descartes. The idea is everyone around you might not be real, all you know is that you are real because you can think about not being real
@randomaccount4950IHNMAIMS is honestly a much better fit for this theme and probably what the intentional relation is, its the first thing everyone thinks of, is the most popular use of the phrase, and has the closest connection to what we see.
Huh.... did anyone else notice the surgery room looks extremely similar to the room we get a glimpse of in Chapter 2? When we are escaping Mommy, but before hide and seek. The electric puzzle near the Boogie Bot cut out where we have to jump across the gap? There is a Crack in a wall that we can look through to a very similar looking area
That maybe could've been the main surgery room earlier.but as we know,it was located in very easily accessible gamestation area which was just beneath the factory.harley sawyer was concerned about lawsuits and employees seeing things that they shouldn't.thats why I think eddie rittenman has written a letter to a construction company to build a secret laboratory and surgical area far away in a remote place and,it was built in high secrecy only higher ups of playtime co were known about this new laboratory.i think this is that same area.
For those wondering how he made this so fast. Him and lots of other youtubers get the trailers early and was able to make the video and then scheduled it to come out after the trailer
Wow, it’s a lot to take in, with the revelation that Dr. Harley Sawyer is the Narrator and was turned into a robot. But after seeing all the analysis of his lore and Poppy Playtime, it makes a lot of sense!
I like how Boxy Boo is the only character that doesn't appear in the main game but yet is part of the ones who's done the most damage between these walls. We never saw him but he's here with us. I wonder if he will appear in any next chapters one day
It makes sense that they trapped Sawyer in a computer, after the boxy boo mishap. They trapped him in there, so he survived the hour of joy because he wasn't human at the time. And the protagonist, probably helps put Sawyer in this form.
Theory: What if we turned him on with the gas Production Zone? And what if the prototype tried to stop us when we were about to turn the power back on because of harley being reativated.
Amazing Trailer, this pretty much confirms that the hand we see at the end of the Toying with Terror trailer was indeed Harley Sawyer since the breathing matches Harley's voice in this trailer. Plus the purple glow we saw in that trailer behind the hand matches the color of the eyes we see on the screen. Looking at the left foot of the creation, we see what looks like the same hand we saw in the other trailer start to move. I think that Sawyer is in some sort of robotic form behind that construct or chair we see in the trailer. It seems like something else was shifting position in that chair along with the hand, as if connecting itself into the chair to go into the security systems and watch us via the eyes. Also the fact that they chose Kissy for the thumbnail of the trailer with Harley watching makes me think he attacked Kissy at the end of Chapter 3 to either get rid of her or use her to reach his end goal.
So that explains why *Leith Pierre* went to check on CatNap as a replacement of Harley Sawyer on that one day in the *CatNap Check-In VHS Tape* in Chapter 3. Harley Sawyer didn’t went “out… Let’s say” (quoted by Leith Pierre) to take a break (or do some side missions, or something like that). They (Leith, Stella, Eddie) got rid of Harley and put him in this weird “TV Machine, Robotic looking body” due to the fact that they know that it was Harley Sawyer that caused the Theatre Incident with Boxy Boo (I think). But I can be wrong about that, tho.
Yeah, if may have been a sort of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of scenario. But I could also see Sawyer also betraying the Prototype and trying to seize control, so maybe he was somehow contained down in the lowest level. And now, our character is going to end up freeing him and the Prototype can't have that happen.
Considering how Harley is viewed as the reason behind everything in the Bigger Bodies Initiative. Either one or two ways could happen in this next chapter. Either Harley could be working with the Prototype for a reason we’ll find out or not at all. Or he’ll become an ally along side us, Poppy and Kissy.
@@maiaalpha6181Has to be the former, it’s implies been watching the player the whole time, and he’s out for blood. Henry’s too from the sound of him in the trailer.
@@lennydickson8845 I’ve been thinking that the cameras in some level are connected to Harley, based on the trailer. And if that’s possibly true, it wouldn’t be surprising if we get an environment centering around the security cameras of the factory. Or reports about them in files to give a taste of how the upper staff were doing with everything. Involving things like the Bigger Bodies Initiative or creating toys in general.
"I think, therefore I am" explicitly entails that you in fact exist. He was bamboozled about what happened to him, so he tried to methodologically figure it out by affirming his own existence. "I think, therefore I am" is a great method to know you exist! It has been philosophically adduced as true.
My guess is that after the staff had Harley killed they then surgically removed his brain and then placed it inside the TV that is being used for his new fully robotic body kinda like The Projectionist from Bendy
@ Perhaps since we know he’s already guilty of orchestrating a planned massacre in the facility already so it’s not impossible for him to also be behind the hour of joy but then again there’s also a high probability that it was actually The Prototype who’s responsible for the hour of joy
AAAAAAAA this is, without a doubt, the best trailer for poppy playtime!!!! I’ve NEVER been so excited for the next chapter!!! Merry Christmas everyone!! :D
I knew it the Doctor, Hartley Swayer is the Main Villain of this Chapter and the Eye TV and the Trailer was Dropping on 21th of the 12th Day, now I’m wondering did Yarnaby saved his Master and stitched him with Poe or his Coworkers?
Safe Haven doesn't sound safe with the ideas that Yarnaby and Pianosaurse (I know that's spelled wrong) are roaming around with the Nightmare Critters. Now, we have the mad man who started all of this as a ghost in the machine. Harley might be an enemy more than an ally since he blames everyone for imprisoning him in this computer network. Though, I wonder if he's aware about Ollie's existence since his connection to electronics might also be connected to the phone that our protagonist uses when Ollie is calling them. Just a thought I had, but not impossible
From the very moment we entered the factory in Chapter 1 to descending to the depths at the end of Chapter 3, he’s indeed watching out every movement. Clearly evident from the recalls for the previous 3 chapters
As they say, "a man wth no limits is more dangerous than anything", which is amplified due to the fact he is literally in the system which spans the whole factory, this chapter's villain is going to be crazy good
What if Sawyer is the main antagonist of Chapter 4? It would make sense. All these monsters, Yarnaby, Pianosaurus, and the Nightmare Critters, they are gonna be used by Sawyer to keep the protagonist on his toes. But I believe that near the end of the chapter, Sawyer will FINALLY get his comeuppance for all the souls he has claimed… The lives taken… The blood splattered… Doctor Sawyer…. It’s time to play~~~
So this answers why Dr. Sawyer was “Out…let’s say” -Leith Pierre, in the Catnap VHS in Chapter 3 and how Sawyer turned out to be “alive” following the Hour of Joy in “The Story So Far” series
The thing i wanna know is why is the chapter names safe haven? Does this mean there's going to be a safe haven where we'll stay throughout the game? Because i think prototype and Sawyer will have some beef along with their followers.
The red smoke was a fuel source we know it’s flammable based off of what happened to catnap so what if when we transferred the gas which we know is in chapter 4 it was actually giving power to Harley and he is just now coming online after all this time taken offline after the theater incident it did say the it was his fault and the investigator in the tape said he was here to complicate things what is that compilation was that Harley was already apart of the system and couldn’t be killed using the eyes we see in the trailer and arg to command toys to attack people and in response all they could do is shut him down by removing his sources of power and just now being awoken
1:24 when I hear his voice like this it’s so similar in FIVE NIGHTS OF FREDDY’S of the main villain William Afton who has become golden bunny known as SPRING TRAPS
YO Superhorrerbro I'm calling it now in the comment section, The Prototype tricked the other employees into thinking it was Harley the Doctor that caused the incident with Boxy Boo!!! I believe thats why was confused as to why he was betrayed by the rest of the Executive group 💪🏾🎩
So all the VHS tapes were probably hidden cams for him to watch you through. I bet people would replay the other chapters to see if there are any cams or TVs that he has been looking through to see you this whole time. I dont think him and 1006 are working together but if they are then god help us all I say.
Poppys probably gonna bail on is and be like "it's your fault Kissys dead" or some bullshit, or if we're lucky we'll see Poppys dark side come out more this chapter, we haven't seen that since the end of chapter 2 and feels like it's been forgotten. Or if we're really Lucky we'll get more insight on Poppy this chapter, tapes, interviews, actually learn about the character named after this game finally.
I wonder if he's also the voice behind Ollie, given he is a tech ghost by the looks of the trailer. He should be able to mimic voices same as the prototype. I see him helping us but for his own reasons. Maybe, the prototype somehow caused what happen to Harvey as an act of vengeance. That or he did so to himself for unknown reasons.
I suddenly had the idea that if they can humanize Harley would make the story good, but he seems to always be just the bad guy. Which he is, for his procedures, but bad guys are scary when they seem like they were just like you, pushed too far or too little oversite or desperate
It could be very likely that this new form of his is a failed punishment for him - instead of turning him into a bigger body to keep his intelligence and expertise, they did it to turn him into the monsters he created. However, he managed to keep his mind intact and memories unbroken because he was connected to multiple computers to keep him alive, thereby granting him full access of all the cameras around the factory.
Did anyone notice how it seemed as though he were responding to the glitches in the camera? For example when its questions "Strong?" The one in the camera responds with an omminous yes afterwards without a hitch. I havent watched the full video yet so maybe this was mentioned.
The hand showed at the end of previous trailer was The Doctor's hand and not the Prototype. Maybe there will be a 5th chapter that will be the final end. Also in this chapter in the ending maybe The Prototype will take The Doctor and we will get a even more look of the Prototype. " The Prototype will save us all " or rather " The Prototype will take us all for his own body. "
Always a rush when you get something right for a change, and I called it~. I love how he starts off furious, then realises *exactly* what he's seeing, and then he's delighted. "Curious~" I do still think Harley is working *with* 1006. The Prototype openly stated it was trying to learn more about Harley - what makes him tick - and I can see it deciding they have a lot in common. Harley wasn't a good person, but he wasn't exactly evil either. He has a goal, and he's willing to achieve that goal by *ANY* means necessary. If that meant torturing and experimenting on children, then so be it. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he helped orchestrate The Hour of Joy since he seems to be able to connect to all of Playtime's systems. Likely, he's the one who deactivated their security. I hope he's not only in Chapter 4. He's way too interesting a character to be a one-and-done enemy.
have a merry chrismas mike. i thankful for your explanations of horror games. the lore in them are like puzzle pieces and you help mu and others understand them.
an addendum about the incident, in fact Harley caused a huge fire in the theater killing several tourists from the Mike factory, and not that Boxy Boo was released to do that.
I do think Sawyer AI is also responsible for Hour of Joy. At least just helping the prototype plan a little bit as "Enemy of my enemy is my friend". Watching the trailer I got real “AM” from “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream”. When I saw the part where it said “I think, therefore I am” it confirmed it… nice to see that they’re taking inspiration from that story it seems.
The person or figure at the end could probably be the prototype, since we dont know if it has legs or not, and yet, it does talk. Or maybe Harley Sawyer IS FUSED with the prototype im just expecting lots of theories here, am i right?
Holy heck yes!!! its DARK!! Like takes its audiences intelligence seriously dark!! This seems like an actual threat for real like the teacher with the destroyed face but not like catnap who sorta let me down. That trailer was Batman like movie levels of creepy. TBH I cant even remember the order of which these types of games came out but Poppys rapidly split from the pack as the front runner being the best for myself and I dare say for others also.
In CatNap's tape, they say Dr. Sawyer was "out", so whatever happened to him, was during Theo's 4th year as CatNap, so around 1994, a year or months before The Hour of Joy. Maybe he even helped with it, since he controls the cameras or even might be the one "making" some of the tapes we find along the way
It seems if Harley Sawyer had become an experiment HIMSELF and is trying to merge with the Prototype!!! Can't wait for your playthrough on January 30th, Mike!!!!
The part of the trailer where the text reads "I AM ?????" Alive is a good fit for the blank, Human works too. Also, the phrase "I think, therefore I am" has a deeper meaning, which is symbolic of Dr. Sawyer's situation or it has been twisted
Kinda random thing: in so much media, we don't really get much backstory for these evil adults, just maybe a throwaway line about abusive parents or something like that. What I think makes Dr. Sawyer interesting is that thanks to the Chapter 4 ARG, we saw he was ALWAYS a bit troubled, even as a kid (hence why Elliot had to remove him from the Young Geniuses Program). I guess that just makes him feel more REAL, in a way. And now that he's in the factory's surveillance systems, he's even more dangerous, and I'm sure it'll be QUITE tricky for our protagonist to defeat him.
The reason this chapter could be called "Safe Haven" is because of Sawyer. In previous trailers we saw huge piles of dead toys, he could potentially be killing all the toys, "keeping us safe" from them, but not him. Doesn't explain Yarnaby and Pianosaurus though..
what if the doctor is actually somewhat of an alley? in the clip at the end we see the eye on the screen turn red as our player turns around and end up face to face with Yarneby. Maybe there is like a concept that yarniby will appear behind you and you cannot turn around or it killst you and by looking at various screens placed around the area you can determen if it's safe to turn around or not?
the body horror in this chapter is about to be INSANE. Sawyer was forced into the machine in one way or another and now "lives" within the surveillance system or just the entire computer system in general, but does seem to have built some sort of physical form as we can see at the end.

Harley can’t be the prototype, im pretty sure in a tape in chapter 1 or 2 he’s talking with the prototype.
@littlething5659it’s chapter 3
@@SkibidiJohnnySigma right, thanks.
"The Minds of Men are easy to break. You belived mine could be broken too. You were wrong"
Did he just admit he had no humanity to begin with?
It's one thing to do inhumane things, It's another to acknowledge and admit it's inhumane and still do it. Sawyer was and still is evil, plain and simple.
We don't get many those villains in media now a days, gotta appreciate that.
Reminds me of Hojo from FF7. There's actually several similarities.
-Conducts awful experiments
-Has no regard for the well being of his victims
-Eventually becomes one of his own experiments
-Is almost certainly responsible for most of what happens in game.
That is why psychopaths scare me to the core
All it took was One Bad Day.
You are right since he let out boxy boo they made him an experiment
@@jacobmillenbach2561Well remember back to the VHS with Harley Sawyer and the Prototype. Harley said that the Prototype is hiding a secret and he wants to find it. Maybe by merging with the Prototype, Harley Sawyer will learn this secret.
@@krvgames9258 But then why would Sawyer willingly turn himself into an experiment Regardless of his reason the prototype would never join forces with him
@tadeasklvana6587 but for sawyer to turn himself into an experiment the dude just threw away his own humanity
Harley Sawyer is coming in full force and I’m so excited to see his full design. Didn’t think the tv would be his head. He seemed very confused as to what happened to him so maybe he was punished.
Yeah, maybe he was tortured
This could be his damnation for all the evil experiments he's done. Forced to watch the consequences of his actions by constantly watching the very scene locations where they took place through cameras.
Maybe it's possible that the people who betrayed him were his closest colleagues. Who became ridden with trauma after all the experiments they were forced to conduct on children. Anger manifesting to rebellion, where they used their skills to transform him into his own creations, where he'll forever be in agony and unable to rest in peace. Basically eternal hell.
@@IceDragon1978unfortunately it’s only made his much worse than when he was human
This got extremely dark very quick.
It's like a entire different game, AND I LOVE IT
What do you love about it?? I'm seriously curious. The game is feeling less and less cohesive.
@@Wonderfully_Wicked6664 Why do you think it is becoming less cohesive?
@@ryderwatson7296 is almost like the FNAF Effect. Where there are so many connections to so many different variables in the main story that sometimes it gets hard to follow the one main theme. But I think the story is still cohesive. I just think they’re adding a lot really quickly to one chapter.
@@fkajstn I can see that. I would hate for this game to go into that FNAF effect cause then it would no longer be fun to follow anymore and if I'm not mistaken, MOB did only want to make like 5 chapters of this game so I'm guessing they are trying to put all their eggs in one basket.
Chapter 3 trailers felt darker than this but okay
THE MINDS OF MEN ARE EASY TOO BREAK lowkey gives me Chills. Perfection
"I think, therefore i am."
A phrase by philosophers about of what makes us what we are usually in constrast with automatas or robotics
@tomby_ yeah that frase is from Rene Descartes while speaking of a creation of autómatas and the replication of life
After this trailer, I'm starting to thinking Oli might actually be Harvey cuz really how can a kid that claimed to have lived through all the years trapped in the factory and have access to phones and cameras if not it was a masked voiceover of a surveillance mastermind revealed to be Harvey all along.
Exactly in chapter 3 there was red button to turn the lights on it was a plan
What’s got me scratching my head is why 1006 teamed up with Harley if the Prototype hates the Playtime co. staff WHICH HARLEY IS APART OF BTW
@linishatopham1739 probably because the prototype is power-hungry as well
@@linishatopham1739 because they did in Harley.
2:37
I just noticed that the monitor room is resembling a face. Almost as if it's Harley Sawyer's face.
Pretty neat detail
Damn never saw that. Thanks
even the bottom platform looks like lips. my god
Arg Confirmed Dr white put him in there
It was Bruno White, and it was confirmed that Bruno died in the Hour of Joy
2:00 I don’t know if it was just me, but when the Dr first started waking up, it reminded me so much of the movie Age of Ultron when Ultron first wakes up! I am so so excited for the next chapter!
Same that’s the first thing I thought
Interesting how The Doctor is literally a ghost in a machine.
OMG! The cabinet man song!
Henry's voice here sounds intimidating. I don't think I ever heard a voice like this one.
It may be the key to another level of horror.
You mean Harley?
@JoaoMiguelCordeiro-fl3wb 🤦♂️. Yes, him.
Wow, it’s a lot to take in, with the revelation that Dr. Harley Sawyer is the Narrator and was turned into a robot. But after seeing all the analysis of his lore and Poppy Playtime, it makes a lot of sense!
Harleys mind has merged with machine. Meaning he’s been watching the protagonist this whole time. Creepy.

But theory (2) Poppy want to either put him to sleep or turn him into ashes since we know the red smoke is highly flamable.
Lmao, I just finished watching the premiere trailer and this video immediatly popped up
You are very quick.
Lmao well you cant blame him. Poppy Playtime is AWESOME and so is he❤️
How much you wanna bet that Harley help the prototype to cause the hour of joy to get revenge on everyone that turned him into a machine.
"I think therefore I am"
Harley... you're not THAT guy, pal
"I think, therefore I am" explicitly entails that you in fact exist. He was bamboozled about what happened to him, so he tried to methodologically figure it out by affirming his own existence. "I think, therefore I am" is a great method to know you exist! It has been philosophically adduced as true.
Damn we really about to go face to face The Doctor himself. The Devil himself with all these fricking killings.
I'm so excited to finally take him down
But I'm not gonna lie, Genshin Impact was my first thought seeing the title of this trailer
the more you know-
My guess is that after the staff had Harley killed they then surgically removed his brain and then placed it inside the TV that is being used for his new fully robotic body kinda like The Projectionist from Bendy
If he's the one who causes hour of joy
@ Perhaps since we know he’s already guilty of orchestrating a planned massacre in the facility already so it’s not impossible for him to also be behind the hour of joy but then again there’s also a high probability that it was actually The Prototype who’s responsible for the hour of joy
Who spotted the "claw'' at 03:23? Left foot.
Ohhh that's weird. Nice catch!
I thought it was just him activating or standing up more straight
AAAAAAAA this is, without a doubt, the best trailer for poppy playtime!!!! I’ve NEVER been so excited for the next chapter!!! Merry Christmas everyone!! :D
I knew it the Doctor, Hartley Swayer is the Main Villain of this Chapter and the Eye TV and the Trailer was Dropping on 21th of the 12th Day, now I’m wondering did Yarnaby saved his Master and stitched him with Poe or his Coworkers?
I liked yarnaby better he was such a cool guy
January 30th 2025 that is the one year anniversary for poppy playtime chapter 3
Safe Haven doesn't sound safe with the ideas that Yarnaby and Pianosaurse (I know that's spelled wrong) are roaming around with the Nightmare Critters. Now, we have the mad man who started all of this as a ghost in the machine. Harley might be an enemy more than an ally since he blames everyone for imprisoning him in this computer network. Though, I wonder if he's aware about Ollie's existence since his connection to electronics might also be connected to the phone that our protagonist uses when Ollie is calling them. Just a thought I had, but not impossible
That's probably the point. It's most likely meant to lure us into a false sense of security when this new location in Chapter 4 is anything but safe.
I thought Harley sawyer would be the first human character we would actually see in the game
"Human" in the loosest definition of the term, even before he was computerized.
Nah bro, he's a damn demon-
So here's how I see it. Nightmare Critters, regular enemies. Yarnaby, halfway boss. Henry Sawyer, Final Boss.
Makes sense
Pianosaurus?
9:44 is it just me or does the voice of Stella kinda sound like Poppy?
It’s the same voice actor
@Alex-xb1wq ah but no connection in game? ok.
12:14 a moment of realization.. In one of the glitching frames there is a picture of a brain all destroyed, i think that was his brain... damn 😬..
From the very moment we entered the factory in Chapter 1 to descending to the depths at the end of Chapter 3, he’s indeed watching out every movement. Clearly evident from the recalls for the previous 3 chapters
Curious how we don't see mommy?
Nice to see mob giving us updates.....keep that good stuff up
As they say, "a man wth no limits is more dangerous than anything", which is amplified due to the fact he is literally in the system which spans the whole factory, this chapter's villain is going to be crazy good
What if Sawyer is the main antagonist of Chapter 4? It would make sense. All these monsters, Yarnaby, Pianosaurus, and the Nightmare Critters, they are gonna be used by Sawyer to keep the protagonist on his toes.
But I believe that near the end of the chapter, Sawyer will FINALLY get his comeuppance for all the souls he has claimed… The lives taken… The blood splattered…
Doctor Sawyer…. It’s time to play~~~
So this answers why Dr. Sawyer was “Out…let’s say” -Leith Pierre, in the Catnap VHS in Chapter 3 and how Sawyer turned out to be “alive” following the Hour of Joy in “The Story So Far” series
Crazy. Poppy ch 4 will be absolut awesome
When I first heard it it reminded me of ultron from marvel
Next year is a big year for the gaming industry
I wonder if he's also the voice behind Ollie, given he is a tech ghost by the looks of the trailer. He should be able to mimic voices same as the prototype. I see him helping us but for his own reasons. Maybe, the prototype somehow caused what happen to Harvey as an act of vengeance. That or he did so to himself for unknown reasons.
This is the second time in a row that poppy playtime has released a new chapter on my birthday.
I suddenly had the idea that if they can humanize Harley would make the story good, but he seems to always be just the bad guy. Which he is, for his procedures, but bad guys are scary when they seem like they were just like you, pushed too far or too little oversite or desperate
The lore is so interesting!
Maybe finally we'll get to know who is our protagonist this entire time in Poppy Playtime thanks to Dr Harley Sawyer
3:29 The fact that he has a TV for a head reminded me of Vox from Hazel Hotel.
In fact, he's like a horror version of Vox.
Did anyone notice how it seemed as though he were responding to the glitches in the camera? For example when its questions "Strong?" The one in the camera responds with an omminous yes afterwards without a hitch. I havent watched the full video yet so maybe this was mentioned.
3:02 why did I expect him to say 30th of December instead of 30th of January
lol probably just wishful thinking cuz I wish it was
We’re too used to Scott cawthon 😂
The hand showed at the end of previous trailer was The Doctor's hand and not the Prototype. Maybe there will be a 5th chapter that will be the final end. Also in this chapter in the ending maybe The Prototype will take The Doctor and we will get a even more look of the Prototype. " The Prototype will save us all " or rather " The Prototype will take us all for his own body. "
Always a rush when you get something right for a change, and I called it~. I love how he starts off furious, then realises *exactly* what he's seeing, and then he's delighted. "Curious~"
I do still think Harley is working *with* 1006.
Luv ur vids
have a merry chrismas mike. i thankful for your explanations of horror games. the lore in them are like puzzle pieces and you help mu and others understand them.
an addendum about the incident, in fact Harley caused a huge fire in the theater killing several tourists from the Mike factory, and not that Boxy Boo was released to do that.
I do think Sawyer AI is also responsible for Hour of Joy. At least just helping the prototype plan a little bit as "Enemy of my enemy is my friend". Espescially when both turns into the roughly the same thing and conclude Playtime Co won't stop do the experiment no matter who's responsible
Just like how Price is asking help to Makarov for Shepherd location on Cod MW2 old. Despite Makarov is the actual enemy, shepherd is responsible for massacre Price's team
Watching the trailer I got real “AM” from “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream”. When I saw the part where it said “I think, therefore I am” it confirmed it… nice to see that they’re taking inspiration from that story it seems.
This chapter is going to be absolutely amazing 😍🎉
Dog day did say in chapter 3 “a million pair of eyes are you now” he could’ve been talking about the little toys but also this new enemy 😮😮😮
How dare TH-cam hide this from me for 25 minutes. I love your content, keep being amazing ❤
The person or figure at the end could probably be the prototype, since we dont know if it has legs or not, and yet, it does talk.
Or maybe Harley Sawyer IS FUSED with the prototype
im just expecting lots of theories here, am i right?
I think we're going to get a big reveal on Dr. Sawyer in chapter 4. Not just with the lore, but with him being an enemy, too! I'm so excited!
I love how this trailer looks like some kind of analog horror!
It's insane how they added the AM quote, just because he is machine with a human mind, just like how AM gained sentience.
In CatNap's tape, they say Dr. Sawyer was "out", so whatever happened to him, was during Theo's 4th year as CatNap, so around 1994, a year or months before The Hour of Joy. Maybe he even helped with it, since he controls the cameras or even might be the one "making" some of the tapes we find along the way
"I think therefore I am" is a philosophy saying by Descartes to establish the fact that we can only know that we exist in the universe.
3:28 In the description of the video it states something like “Playtime CO’s biggest threats yet has been watching you” so it’s probably an antagonist
Great video Mike man
This video from Mob’s channel actually crashed my phone twice for some reason, wish I could watch it without that happening lol
6:20 you forgot the background text. It reads
"I am"
"Closer and closer I will find it a little closer each time."
Can't wait for Poppy playtime to be released in January 30th in 2025.😁😁😁👏👏👏
Mike, Continue your legacy in 2025 and Merry Christmas.😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️🎁🎁🎁❄️❄️❄️
Oh horrorbro, i just want you to know that Mint's hints Chapter 2 is out now. ^^
Great stuff SHB. Looking forward to your Explained video of chapter 4.
“I think, therefore I am”
Those who know 💀
Billieeeeeeeeeeeee😂
The reason this chapter could be called "Safe Haven" is because of Sawyer. In previous trailers we saw huge piles of dead toys, he could potentially be killing all the toys, "keeping us safe" from them, but not him. Doesn't explain Yarnaby and Pianosaurus though..
The devil works hard, but TH-camrs work harder…. (Love your vids ❤)
what if the doctor is actually somewhat of an alley? in the clip at the end we see the eye on the screen turn red as our player turns around and end up face to face with Yarneby. Maybe there is like a concept that yarniby will appear behind you and you cannot turn around or it killst you and by looking at various screens placed around the area you can determen if it's safe to turn around or not?
