0:37 - We play along what we will be covering in this video drum lesson
1:09 - Breaking down the "In Bloom" drum intro
2:14 - We add 2 high-hats to what we've covered so far
2:35 - We go over what a flag is and how to put it into the song
2:47 - Now we add the bass drum and tom drum
4:26 - Put it all together at tempo and play along with the song
4:40 - Play this section 4 times as part of the intro
5:19 - You have the option of crashing into the beat where we go over counting and what beat the crash comes in on
6:09 - Break downt the next beat

This was amazing! Officially the first song I can play on the drums! He does another fill later in the song, I think after 4 bars it sounds just like a snare roll and something else but I can’t figure it out. Any ideas?

Yeah the record is definitely quarter notes. Pretty sure dave doesn’t play that “third bass drum” after the crash either but that also sounds fine
There are so many different ways drummers play their songs, its crazy... lol. Makes sense though when you think about it, they play it literally thousands of time and get bored doing it the same way every time. Might sound odd but can you do a tutorial on setting up a drum set. I graduated from an e kit to a real set. I'm waiting on them to come in and have no clue what I'm doing. It took me 3 hours to set up my e kit lmao that was fun...
